Protein World Avis 

Used protein worlds Slender Blend vanilla powder in the past and loved it. Ordered the 1.6kg bag of Vanilla flavour direct from them and when it arrived it, it had “vanilla ice cream” flavour on the bag. Tried it and it’s vile. No hint of vanilla flavour AT ALL. The only flavour I imagine it to be is cardboard or sawdust flavoured. It doesn’t mix at all so it’s very grainy. Couldn’t even have a second sip. Emailed them and got a response saying it’s the same as Vanilla? If that’s the case then why is there the option to choose Vanilla flavour or Vanilla ice cream flavour? Confused isn’t the word. Spent £40 on a massive bag that’s going to just sit there. Or go in the bin more likely. The customer service replies are going nowhere. I’ve been asked to send a pic of the BBE date and batch number twice now. Both times I’ve sent a clear picture of it. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. The product is completely unusable. I don’t understand how this passed quality control and made it to sale. Will have to find another brand that sells a powder that tastes like the flavour it’s advertising. All I can say is be very wary when ordering.

I have bought 4 flavours, 3 are terrible and one is very nice. It’s a great consistency and mixes well, it’s probably the best texture on the market and I’ve tried almost every brand of protein based meal replacement. It does fill you up and you can add lots of stuff to them too. I don’t agree with how the display things, they take a 200 kcal shake and put 300kcal of sugary rubbish on it which is against the point of having a healthy shake. I hate the vanilla, peanut butter, and fudge sundae flavours, and was really disappointed with them, but I’ve had 2 big bags of the strawberry and love it. I would like to try other flavours but it’s off putting taking the risk and they don’t allow you to rate just one flavour on their website

I have started my PW journey with the Slender Blend and was amazed by how tasty it actually was. I then went on to purchase more items from them such as the pancakes and the mug cakes and oh my!! Best stuff I have ever bought, everything tastes so delicious, is very straight forward and easy to make! (I can be lazy sometimes) The taste is incredible compared to a lot of other brands (which food in comparison tasted like cardboard) the delivery was always on point and always got my items in no longer than a couple of days. When I say try it, I mean it!! Won't disappoint! HIGHLY recommend it!

2 weeks have passed and I still have not received my protein powder order. I have emailed every 2 days, with someone replying back saying they will investigate with Hermes, only to be told to wait even longer. I have not been offered a refund, a sorry or even a replacement protein powder. Now no one is replying to my email.

Still not paid for services provided to Protein World

I purchased the Slender Blend Powder and Porridge, however had nausea and sickness immediately after consuming. I reached out to the customer service team as I used it twice and find it ridiculous that they will not refund something that is unsatisfactory to the consumer

Would give zero stars if I could. It’s been 12 days since I made an order. They took the money from my account but have not shipped anything. Emailed and was told there were ‘stock issues’ 10 days ago, but at almost 2 weeks with nothing being sent this is nothing short of disgraceful. Don’t waste your time, shop elsewhere. I’ll never shop with this poor excuse of a company again, I want a refund at this point but now nobody is emailing me back.

Delayed delivery with little communication.
Cannot understand the fuss with their mug cake mix - very bland with a weird texture. I was unable to finish their slender pancake mix as this just tasted very chemically to me.
I was forced to leave a review here because they seem to delete any bad reviews on their website... That should tell you everything you need to know.

Ordered after seeing products advertised on Instagram but didn’t receive my order for over a week to be told there was a problem with stock and my order would be sent out the following Monday. Nothing was dispatched and kept being told they had problems with stock. Lot’s of people writing Facebook reviews appear to have had the same experience. Cancelled my order after two weeks of not getting anywhere. Really disappointed.

Ordered on Wednesday it arrived on Friday (yesterday). Unfortunately the pouch of powder had ripped slightly. I emailed a photo across and they replied today and sent me out a new pouch straight away! Fantastic customer service, thank you Charles

Shocking! Order last Wednesday paid for next day delivery and I still haven’t received my items. We are now on Tuesday they said they are experiencing delays but they haven’t stated this on website. If they had I would of pay for standard delivery and saved money. I would like a refund on my delivery please

The carb blockers don’t work so save yourself some money and don’t bother.

Issues were resolved quickly and I kept the incorrect item as well as them shipping out missing and correct item quickly! Thank you. From 1-4* only missing a star due to the issues found! Products taste very nice! So after being told they were experiencing delays which aren’t advertised on the website, to then be told one of my items was out of stock and that’s why it hadn’t been sent, to then receiving my products with the incorrect flavour of shake powder and only 1 packet of pancake mix when 2 was ordered! Considering it’s £150 bundle I am not happy! First time using and most probably the last unless I get the items I actually ordered. I have photographic evidence of what I received and what I ordered! Rip off! Would I even have got my order if I hadn’t asked and then found out the items were out of stock is that not customer service 101? I’m happy to re review if this get sorted quickly however I am not paying for returns or extra delivery this is your mess up not mine! Maybe I should have listened to the reviews on here

I bought the Vegan vanilla protein powder. It is horrible. It is super grainy and chalking and tastes weird. I have tried loads of vegan powders and this was the worst. When I reached out to customer service they said that it's a vegan powder and that's how they are. I posted a review on the site and they removed it. Don't trust the reviews like I did.

Order arrived pretty quickly, products taste good and fill you up. I had one little issue with my order where I had something missing, emailed Charles sorted this out for me within a day sending me out the missing item- free of charge. He was a pleasure to deal with. Very happy overall, thanks PW :)

Love protein pancakes, been eating them almost everyday for past few months and still love them. Also tried chocolate mug cake which is amazing alternative when you crave sweets and you have a sweet tooth like me. I can see bad reviews here although I never had problem with my delivery so please don’t be put off:)

Products are good, but the product descriptions for the bundles are misleading online. The product amounts in the descriptions don't match the length of times the bundles are supposed to last (eg their 1 month bundle is actually only 2 weeks supple). They catch you out in the detail (false advertising). Customer service not very helpful either.

Definitely save your calories, money, and tastebuds, and avoid these! They're horrible, and grossly over priced for something that tastes so poor. I bought the brownie mix and the cookie mix (thinking I was treating myself in a healthier way 😩), and both were as bad as each other! Cardboard like, rubbery, and with an overriding taste of synthetic sweetener and nothing else! Hugely disappointed, and with the price tag they carry, pretty shocking at how poor the quality is. If you like your food to taste good then avoid these at all cost!! (tip for those wanting a healthier treat... Oppo double salted caramel, and choc hazelnut ice cream by far the best thing I've found 😉)

Do NOT order from this company! They wont let you cancel your subscription & when trying to deal with their CS or CEO they are rude and arrogant!
They use DHL who provide zero evidence of delivery success. I have challenged 3 x deliveries not made to me, all they can provide is 3 slips of paper showing no photo, no signature, nothing. Do NOT order from them. From looking at the other reviews i am not alone!
