Same day tyre fitted, kind, courteous and super cheap.

Steve and his team couldn't be more customer focused. I had a blow out in appaulling weather conditions on Saturday (15/09/25), but despite being really busy they made time to replace both front tyres. Steve was honest and explained the car was safe to drive even though there as not capacity to do the tracking. The tracking, as promised, was completed this morning.

Steves a great Man to have front of house. These guys work hard and will have an honest conversation with you about your car.

Arrived on time and car was taken to the fitting bay straight away. New tyres fitted in about 25 minutes and a paper health check on tyres and brakes delivered. Tyres were bought in line in advance with a great discount. All very efficient.

Really friendly accomodating staff and environment and always very professional.

I went into the Reception (Colchester) on a Saturday Lunch time to book my vehicle in for 2 Front Tyres. After waiting a while at reception i was seen my a member of staff that i assume was having a bad day as all i got was a grunt and he was staring at me. Explained i wanted 2 tyres soon, gave him the type of tyre i wanted and got a 'we won't have them in stock' i said you can order them though? Yes, £170 per tyre fitted etc. Which i agreed as i'd been meaning to book it in for a few weeks.

The next part is my own fault, in the past they had said to me don't go to BlackCircles next time, come straight to us. Stupidly i checked Black Circles after having them fitted to find they were £122.22 per tyre fitted! (Exact same tyre)

Edit - After contacting Protyre as requested, i was contacted by Steve the Manager. Full apology given and came to a mutual agreement on the pricing. Handled with professionalism!

The prices are great, the staff are friendly and quick to tell you if your car needs repairs.

First time using Protyre and quite impressed! They were on time with my appointment, and quickly fitted 4 tyres and front alignment. Pricing was also very competitive.

First the price by far the cheapest price the garage was equipped with up to date equipment clean and very knowledgeable staff and the person in reception on bank Holiday Monday very helpful I was only in for a/c regas which turn out not to be the only falt so he told me what he thinks it is and parts to use 😀

Seen promptly at appointment time. Staff polite and helpful. Free coffee always helps! X

I was shocked when the bill increas

My appointment was 8.30am, job.completed by 9.30am & all good.
I booked on line but couldnt see anywhere to put the code that was given to get £10 off the price so ended up paying the full amount.
Steve the Manager whom I had already phoned arranged for a £10 refund which I have now received .

Always get good service here - wouldn’t go anywhere else

Friendly acknowledgement on arrival, appointment time kept. Advice offered on tyres and, although not booked, wheel alignment was suggested and fitted in on a busy day. Very professional experience, excellent advice offered and work carried out to high standard.
