Tyre fitters really helpful.
Tyre fitters really helpful. Would have been 5 stars but for the fact that the guy on reception stated point blank that they don't balance caravan wheels. I spoke to the tyre fitter and he balanced the wheels, no problem. Would I use them again? Yes.

I am not one for normally writing reviews. However I have to say the service at Protyre Autocare in Great Dunmow was excellent. I had a slow puncture and turned up hoping Protyre could fix it . And they did , no fuss, professional, keeping me informed and finding the cause of the puncture. This was all done in 25 mins.

MOT test
Went for an MOT and was told it had failed because of a wheel bearing and wanted to charge £240 to do it , sounded very suspect because I couldn’t hear anything so took it to two other garages who both confirmed the bearing was perfectly ok and passed it !
2nd year in a row it’s been failed for no reason, only this time I was clued up enough to get second opinions
Not happy at all because we’ve now waisted another £44
Received a reply stating that someone would be in contact but as I expected …. Nothing , no call , no email or anything , if only there was an area manager you could talk to !!

MOT and aircon regass
I was booked in for my MOT and whilst there booked in to have my aircon regassed. As always I was welcomed by the team on both occasions, even during the heat and was extremely happy with the service I received for both bookings. Thank you for taking the time on my car. Worst tyre experience ever !Dunmow!
Worst tyre experience ever! Charged £65 for a £47 quoted tyre, manager moaned about them shutting in 20mins, when it was actually 50mins later, fitter put 55psi in a tyre how da gerous!!! that should have 33psi max and removed tps sensor and replaced it with a standard rubber valve, tps system flashing fault had to pay a decent garage to replace. Avoid absolutely disgusting company! Will be reporting to trading standards.

Excellent service
I've used this garage a number of times now, and the service is always excellent. They carried out my MOT and air conditioning service, and my car passed its MOT with no issues. They were also kind enough to fit me into an earlier appointment, which was really appreciated.
The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional, making the whole experience straightforward and stress-free. It's great to find a garage you can trust. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be returning in the future.

Not great stole my daughters wheel nut…
Not great stole my daughters wheel nut locking key when it went in for an MOT, then tried to say it was my fault!
We then had to spend £30 for another one, will not be using them again
