Protyre Autocare - Okehampton Avis 

Easy to order and book online. Arrived for my alloted appointment and dealt with in a professional and friendly manner. The two tyres took about 25 minutes to change. They also took the time to advise on a couple of things they had picked up (wear on one tyre and the other on changes to the wheel nuts due to age). Real (positive) difference in level of service since they became Protyre. I have only used them for tyres but have done so for the past 4 years and would recommend them on price and customer service.

These guys were able to give me helpful advice (another Protyres garage turned me away, saying I had to order the tyres & they were too busy). So much choice that I am glad of the help.

Just used protyres for a blowout on the a30. They handled our enquiry well and when the breakdown service came we got a temporary tyre to get us to them. Many thanks all sorted efficiently

They had my tyres already in stock as I ordered online and the tyre price was very reasonable. They fitted them quickly. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Good coffee machine too. I would use them again for sure.

The only thing it was a bit confusing to find as they appear to have changed their name recently to "ProTyre' (a franchise?), they were called Mid Devon Tyres before.

Online ordering was fine. We needed one tyre urgently. It said on the order to arrive early so we did. The guy who served us moan that we were too early (15min) and very sarcastic.He treated us differenly because we ordered online. I asked him to check the front tyres but he didn't. He said a car check would be emailed which never happened. He lost the company the sale as I bought 2 more tyres from ATS as they needed replacing.

I went to mid Devon tyres protyre .
I asked for the cheapest tyre for my van .
The manager said he's got a tyre in stock for £110 , I said I want the very cheapest so he looked and said he would have to order one in at £95 , so I said just fit the one in stock for the sake of £15 .
I then looked on the protyre website and I could have had one for £79 including vat and fitting.
He just wasn't honest and didn't give me the customer the best deal
Pure profiteering , I will not be going back there again. The previous manager was honest and far better.
