Brilliant service would go again for tyres

I spent ages browsing the web for suitable tyres at a sensible price, especially as it seems the cost of tyres has gone from reasonable to extortionate within a couple of years.

I went with GT Radials, in the mid-range, as I don’t want ditch-finders but also can’t justify £200+ per corner ever, but definitely not now when even mid-range costs are getting towards £150 each.

However, cannot fault Protyre (specifically SelectATyre in Ripley, Derbyshire) who were open to drop the car at 8:30, had the tyres done by lunchtime when I collected, and even beat BlackCircles and ASDATyres for the same or very similar tyres.

Will likely be back in the future!

Absolutely excellent and outstanding service. I sent my wife to get our son’s tyre sorted. They said leave it with them for an hour and when she got back they had sorted out the problem, checked all the tyres, brakes and exhaust. No messing as in …oh you need x,y,z…instead all was good and the charge was a paltry £25. Ian and his team certainly seem a very trustworthy band and I would not hesitate using them again in the future. Thank you very much.

Went to Protyre at Ripley to get a slow puncture repaired. the technician identified that I had a cracked alloy which needed repairing before any work could be carried out.
Ian and his team were so helpful and professional in helping me.

Ian and the team gave a free winter car check that have me great satisfaction in my new car. They didn't overstate any problems or magic up anything that wasn't there. Very truthful and pleasing for my car. I knew I needed new tyres throughout and that's what happened. Good communication throughout and worked with me too get the best prices and tyres required. Much recommended, I'll be sure to utilise other tests with them. Good honest people that aren't there to rip you off, they're passionate about what they do and how they can help you. Thank you
