Professional, friendly and reliable team
Went in to get two tyres changed and have a wheel alignment complete. The team were friendly quick and efficient. They found a couple of problems on my car and sorted them out with no issue at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for all your help!

Fantastic experience in Taunton branch
I went in and was greeted with a happy engineer who was knowledgeable and knew exactly what unneeded
Booked the car in that afternoon and got a call later the same day saying all work completed
Then the next day my daughters car air con wasn’t working so I gave them a call and they said Yes bring it in and we can do it
Fantastic service and friendly people
Definitely would recommend this garage to everyone

Always expect the unlikely
Would have been better if i had not had to go back to get the casing retained for the spare put onto the spare wheel. Stupid error. Always check the boot before you leave 🫤but they fixed it and the coffee is good. Will use Protyre again if price is right.

Booked our car in for a service & MOT
Booked our car in for a service & MOT. The service was completed only some minor issues but I was later told that it failed the MOT due to a leak on the rear brake cylinder. The calliper was replaced costing an additional £250. After examining the paperwork I noticed that the brake cylinders had been inspected & passed OK. When I queried this the next day I was told that the inspection on a MOT follows a rolling road brake test which subjects the system to more severe conditions. It seemed an odd coincidence that prior to the service and MOT the brake system was working properly without an leaks and when I said as much your member of staff became very defensive and when I said that might want to take this issue further he basically dismissed me. Suffice to say I will never do business with this company again.
Update 03/07/26.
After getting an advisory on my MOT regarding the ABS sensor cable being slightly damaged, I took the wheel off to inspect and repair this cable because I thought that it was unusual for this cable to sustain damage. However, the first thing I noticed was that the cable was hanging down between the rear axle and the coil spring and the outer sheath was worn away from rubbing against some part of the rear suspension. What really angers me is that this cable is normally held to the rear axle with plastic clips and 2 were unclipped which caused the cable to hang down. The previous year Protyre did my MOT which passed, so between then and now this issue occurred. I obviously cannot prove that Protyre were responsible for unclipping the cable, but the fact that it was still unclipped today, after being serviced and MOTed indicates gross incompetence by the technicians. It took me less than 2 minutes to repair the cable and re-clip it to the axle.
