Pukka Avis 

I purchased an All Steak slice from my local supermarket, took it home and heated it in the oven, it smelt amazing, but when I cut it open.....A brownish thick glutinous mess oozed out, I remember when Pucka Pies first began selling their products we all raved about the superior quality, what happened? It's probably the most unappealing thing I've ever seen on a plate.
I fully understand that at the moment costs are at an all time high, but rather than sell this inferior product, why not suspend certain items until the price crisis settles. Very disappointed.

My husband was recently eating a vegan meatless steak pie made by Pukka pies. He bit on something hard and it nearly broke his tooth. It turned out to be small piece of black plastic inside the pie!
I connected Pukka pies and they asked me to send the plastic too them….which we did.
They sent us vouchers for more of their pies in the value of £13.50. I pointed out to them I did not really want anymore of their pies. The attitude back from a lady called Kirsty was that no physical harm was caused and she felt that the vouchers were adequate, I did not.
Leaving meat out is great replacing it with plastic is not acceptable at all. I would never buy Pukka pies again clearing not a nice company.

Mince and onion pie was awful, very little mince which was all gristle, hard pastry and gravy was salty, won’t buy again

Would be good if they actually put some meat in their pies.

Just had a Pukka All Steak Slice.. Wow what happened to Pukka, taste was ok but virtually no filling, luckily only payed £1 in Asda but i wouldn't even pay that again for it.

I'd be embarrassed to put my name to that!

tried the new vindaloo pie it was definitely very hot , but was a peppery hot not pleasant the actual pie was a big disappointment on flavour ,there was none just hot Cayenne peppers hot won't buy another it went in the bin

I have just tried a Pukka chicken and mushroom pie for the first time. It’s the first time that the picture on the box shows you what you’re NOT going to get in a pie. There was NO chicken or mushrooms just a glutinous sauce
and an empty space. Very disappointing. I will never ever buy it again.

Purchased twin pack of puka pies with the attention of eating this everning.We had new potatoes and French beans.At the age of 78 i must be honest and say that was the worse pie I have ever tasted.There was no meat apart from two small pieces.It was a appsolute waist of money .It makes me so sad this is what we have come to.A total rip off ,and the authority's should look into it.

Steak and kidney pie mostly thickened gravy, nice flavour but come on pukka. 2x1 cm pieces of meat. I would be prepared to pay more just to improve meat content.

Purchased frozen chicken and mushroom pies both were just filled with gravy not as advertised or as described on packaging very disappointed with product advise they rebrand as SUKKA pies as just gravy filled

I filled in a form giving all the deatail including bar code etc., but no response from Pukka Pies. It was Jerk Chicken, with black beans and sweet potato. The content was, 3 tiny pieces of chichen, 1 black bean, and air.
The first and last time I purchas Pukka pies. I don't know how they get away with producing food like that.

Bought two individual Chicken and mushroom pies (which we have bought in the past and were ok) for dinner tonight, we were very disappointed with them!
The crust was good, the taste was so so, but the filling was just a mush, didn’t feel any real chicken or mushroom pieces at all, just a gloop!!
Will definitely not buying them anymore - considering how much they cost relative to supermarket own versions, they are absolutely rubbish! How can the quality degrade so much!,,,

On a very positive note, I have been contacted by Pukka Pies representative subsequently, and my complaint is being followed up and investigated - good Customer Focus.

I would advise customers who have similar issues to retain the packaging for “ Barcode, Batch no. and Use By Dates” to enable manufacturers to trace the problem.

Excellent, when you buy most things that say hot, they just arent, this is amazing!!
I probably wouldnt eat anything much hotter!

The steak pies have so little meat they could almost pass as vegan. Year on year their pies get worse, used to be high standard but now, worse than supermarket own brands but more expensive. I think the company has trashed what was a good name. I will avoid anything Pukka from now on

Just had one of the Pukka Vindaloo pies and it was perfect. The pie casing and crust was Pukkas usual delicious pastry but the filling was something else. Not as hot as a curry house vindaloo but has an adequate heat, plenty of flavour and a 10/10 satisfaction. I’ve been a fan of pukka pies for a long time and have to say this one is a masterpiece in my opinion. Easily my new favourite pie they make. Bravo Pukka, you nailed it.

Hi brought two large pukka pies from Asda chicken and mushroom and a beef pie I would say these were the worst pies I've ever had maybe at most four pieces of chicken and gloop sorry no more for us.

Mostly pastry. Not much filling. Little meat

First time buying Pukka chicken pie it will be last 3/4 had no chicken in the sauce was a white mush tasteless.
Marks & Spencer’s Aldi and Tesco much nicer even the pastry wasn’t that nice.

Just had a "Big one" chicken and mushroom pie , abosolutly awful !!! pie was all crust , filling was very sparce , no gravy >>> very dry , wont buy this again !!!!!

I will generously give two stars as the actual flavour is palatable. However, I just learned that Pukka is now in administration and this is unsurprising based on the overwhelmingly bad reviews the pies receive and also based upon my own recent experiences.
No business can remain sustainable with such overwhelmingly bad reviews over an extended period with no improvement. Yesterday will be the last time I spend good money on a product which falls way below expectations and is completely inferior to the imaging and advertising pushed by the company.
Back to the pie. It's only saving grace is the pastry. I do like pastry and so having it in excess is not a bad thing for me but, the remainder of the pie (classic chicken and mushroom) was 50% air and 50% gelatinous goop with no mentionable prices of chicken or mushroom. All in all disappointing!
