The Racing Post newspaper £5.70 Sunday…
The Racing Post newspaper £5.70 Sunday and Monday to Friday and £5.90 on a Saturday for a news paper with very little in it.So called pundits who have as long a baron runs as they do good runs tipping horses,oh but you never hear when there having a bad run just when they have tipped a winner.😀 So other than that you have the form for each upcoming race which you can get for free on the Sporting Life or AtTheRaces website,oh and dont pay for the online subscription through Racing Post because from what people say its not great as lots have alluded to on here with reviews. We could do with a rival horse racing newspaper again because in a other few years time these will be "trying" to charge you £10 for a newspaper with very little in it.From Damon Moffatt.
An absolute disgrace- long term…
An absolute disgrace- long term subscriber - it is now a mess and almost impossible to find what you want - in my opinion subscription renewals will fall accordingly if the Racing Post do not take note of their customers. I have voiced my opinion but after a week received a reply that showed their disregard for clientele
Value For Money.
The Racing Post digital edition is now a fraction of the paper price and rates terrific value for money. Also includes RF0 and the Weekender. The customer service is excellent. Very helpful and informative.
Absolutely terrible the new layout…
Absolutely terrible the new layout makes it so much harder to read and navigate, why change something that didn't need changing. Put it back to how it was!!!!!
I concur with all the negative reviews
I concur with all the negative reviews. The so called update to the website, perhaps downgrade is a better word, is not fit for purpose. It takes an age to load a card and it is impossible to fit one race on a page to scan the whole race at once, which I believe is the normal way to study a race. Who was it designed for? The answer can't be the bookies as surely their site clicks from the RP must have gone down.
The RP website was superb.
The RP website was superb.
After the ''upgrade'' it is garbage.
A remarkable act of self sabotage.
They need to change it back to how it was a.s.a.p and to confirm that whoever signed off on the changes has had their services dispensed with.
The race card change is just wrong.
The race card change is just wrong.
I haven’t even had a bet since the abomination was launched, it’s absolutely taken the joy out of studying the form for an hour or two.
In my opinion this will actually turn ardent racing fans away from the sport or at least the Racing Post.
THIS IS NOT PROGRESS
What has happened to this site…
What has happened to this site recently?
The race card is now further decimated by more bookie offers and the site tries to 'build a betting slip' for you.
Joke.
If encouraging gambling now rather than being informative how is there no 18yrs barrier to using ?
Amazed how senior people in Racing Post…
Amazed how senior people in Racing Post thought these website changes were for the better....... every man and his dog is complaining about it!
Now stopped using it, as there are better options out there now!
Lunacy
Sadly the new layout is an example of Britain today.
They have no idea and don’t care about what the people want.
This is an example of a committee tasked with designing a horse, and the final result is a giraffe.
Whoever rubber stamped this for customer use is needing a reality check.
Cancelling my subscription immediately
Cancelling my subscription immediately, ruined the website. Guaranteed absolutely no consumer research done. GONE
A hopeless 'upgrade' to their web site
A hopeless 'upgrade' to their web site. Clearly it's been designed the IT department or some other body who have no idea about horse racing as seen through the eyes of racing enthusiasts and punters. What words can I use - poorly laid out, not intuitive, doesn't flow - overall a bit naff
And features that were part of the old website are no longer there.
It's off-putting so it's bad for those who rely on racing for their livelihoods, the betting industry, punters and haha, The Racing Post
Racing Post Taking its customers for fools
I have been a racing post customer for years and i have paid for a 12 month subscription i have requested a refund has the product i signed up for is no longer there.
They have destroyed a good product overnight looks to me has its all designed to get you to bet through there website. The racecards were first class now they are absolutely useless they are insulting customers claiming its seamless when it is the complete opposite it is endless dysfunctional clutter.I have found there customer care none existent they know best well if they maintain the arrogance and if they dont listen and go back to what they had then they wont be left with many subscription payers
why fix something that wasn't broken
why fix something that wasn't broken, ruined a very simple easy website with what can only be described as utter rubbish, i hope they change it back or i will seriously consider stopping my membership
not broke, dont fix it
not broke, dont fix it. shambles. I wonder if their betting partners are keeping track of site traffic after introducing this clusterfeck of a rehash
This new website is so poor
This new website is so poor. Too much information is crammed in, difficult to read and a step backwards.
Go back to the previous format which has served Racing Post so well over the many years.
what can i say used it for 25+ years…
what can i say used it for 25+ years not now its been ruined who ever let this happen should be sacked with immediate effect. what an absolute disaster.
The RacingPost have destroyed the form cards
The RacingPost have absolutely ruined the racecards by changing the format. What was previously a great tool for form studying has been destroyed all in the name of so called progress. Its too cluttered and after years of printing off racecards on one A4 sheet it will now only print a single card on 7 sheets. If its not broke dont fix it.
what a disaster
omg, who made this decision to revamp an otherwise well used and established website. Its simply awful now, hard to use and i can't even log into my bookmaker account anymore. i contacted RP, but no response, probably overwhelmed with complaints
