Very few places still exist with customer service like Reedcomics. Outstanding. And they package comics very well so they are always well protected.

Fantastic packaging! I couldn’t be happier with how my items arrived, which is hard to come by in my experience (and I’ve ordered from a lot of places). Reed Comics bagged each item in a protective sleeve, boxed them neatly, then wrapped another layer around the box (you won’t find better packaged items than that!) absolutely top marks, and couldn’t be happier. It really makes a difference for those of us who value an items condition.
Dispatch was very quick, and Reed Comics even upgraded my delivery option and got me my order ahead of the bank holiday weekend! That’s quality service and I’m really grateful. Will definitely be shopping here again - it may even become my go-to, after such an excellent experience. If you want a reliable comic book seller, who takes care of your items and gets them to you quickly, do yourself a favour and go with Reed Comics.

Randomly dropped on Reed Comics from a google search for The Walking Dead anniversary box set. So glad I did! Got that first set and a few other graphic novels for pretty good prices. Everything arrived well packaged and in good time. Good on site/store communication if items are in stock or not. Will definitely be using again.

I bought an item which is out of stock in most places, which Reed were selling at a reasonable price. It arrived when advertised, with regular delivery updates from Reed & Royal Mail. Well packaged, too.

Ordered an Invincible Compendium 1 HC from Reed Comics for the first time after hearing some good reviews on different platforms such as Reddit about the website. I was not disappointed at all with the great service, and most importantly the packaging was fantastic! At first I was a bit skeptical as there are not many great reviews of the shop on TrustPilot, but it’s safe to say I was definitely purchase from Reed Comics again.

I am always a little dubious about buying online from smaller sites or independent stores, but I thought I would take a chance as Reed seemed to have some comics in stock that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Let me say the service did not disappoint, I cannot recommend these guys enough, I purchased 5 comics on Sunday night and they arrived with me by Tuesday morning.. bagged, boarded and in perfect condition in less than 48 hours. Fantastic service and I will be ordering again!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Ordered the Deluxe Sandman set and everything was packaged perfectly and arrived very quickly. Highly recommended.

Don’t deal with this company.

I received a damaged book from them and after contacting them via e-mail I got the most unhelpful responses and it seems I was speaking to the owner. He was more concerned on telling me about how great he thinks his packaging is or how I would care how long he has been in business rather than assisting me in my query as the item arrived damaged regardless if it was Royal Mail or from the business.

I returned this at cost of my own as the return instructions were very vague and their instructions telling me to circle the return address and put it in a post box, it also appears this has breached the consumer rights act as I had to cover the return cost to have the damaged item delivered back to them, this was not refunded back to me.

Refund received for the returned book and they deducted the shipping cost I had to pay. How does that work, I received a damaged item and I’m out for shipping I paid at the first occurrence and shipping to have this returned as the item was damaged at no fault of my own.
Absolute terrible company and I am glad I don’t have to deal with you again.

Here is how the owner will respond to you via e-mail, any potential customer thinking of shopping here, have fun having to hear these kinds of patronising responses when you have a genuine query like mine of damage on an item when the owner is literally bragging about the packaging when I have received my item in said package, damaged.

“It sounds like you have an issue in your postal error as we very rarely get any damages. Our packaging is very robust and comprehensive and has a overlap in case it is dropped. If you can send it back by posting in a post box and writing on the front "Return To Sender" and circling the return address on the postage label we would be happy to replace the book”

“I think maybe the best thing is to return the book for a refund and we can cancel your other orders if you are not happy. The postal service was the reason for the damage which is something we cannot control. The fact you don't appreciate the quality of packaging and service we provide does not bode well for future transactions. We have been in business for 21 years and known for our quality of packaging and service and your response after dealing with the issue within 10 minutes of contacting us worries me.”

“I have now cancelled order 100041229 and should show in your account with the next day or two. I am sorry that you are not happy with the return service or the quality of our packaging and feel the need to blame us for the Royal Mail damage.”

UPDATE 06/04/2023, Just received confirmation that my account has been deleted, I never made this request nor has the company or the owner even reached out to me. Seems like the only way to deal with issues is to never realise they are there. Poor all round.

No sense of how to treat a customer at all. I am over the moon my details have been removed from your company and never have to read any of the owners poorly written responses ever again!

Do yourself a favour and buy from some where else.

Just to prove how dishonest this company and the owner is just look at how they responded to my review on Google.

Customer was very abusive and the book was not even damaged. We decided to cancel all other orders they had with us and ask the customer to not order from us again. Retailers beware this customer is vitriolic to the retail experience and left staff feeling rather sick over the whole experience.

With no proof to this statement and to make up such a scenario is beyond belief. I have never experienced such a terrible company and actually glad I won't have to deal with this ever again.

Any potential customer, please think if this is the kind of interaction you would want to deal with when doing business with a company. Just a slight issue with an order and these are the kinds of responses you will have to deal with, including false accusations of abuse.

I ordered a copy of a rare graphic novel from Reedscomic. The price knocked spots off Amazon and it arrived in excellent condition, with fantastic packaging.

Will be shopping again with them.

First time trying Reed Comics, was pleasantly surprised!

I discovered the website through google shopping when I was looking for a particular Vol of Ms Marvel and decided to give them a try as they had a very reasonable price. Placed my order on a Thursday with 2nd class shipping, it shipped Friday and arrived on Monday. Extremely well packaged as well.

Good prices, quick shipping, and well packaged. What else do you need? I'll definitely be returning to them again.

Brilliant from start to finish.

Was worried about the size of these books getting damaged in the mail which is very common and I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with the likes of Amazon etc…with expensive books and their rubbish packaging so I decided to give Reed Comics a go.

I wasn’t disappointed. Quick communication, fast dispatch and absolutely bomb proof packaging which is an absolute must with the weight of the books I ordered.

Will definitely be using from now on. Order with confidence people!

I've been buying at ReedComics for a bit more than a year.
Bombproof packaging which shows they DO care about their customers and comic book collectors.
They are slow at shipping, but it's not a problem at all. I'm pretty sure most of us have a backlog long enough to be patient with delivery...
