DO NOT USE! Beware of these scammers!
They will charge you cleaning fees even if your campervan is clean and will make up reasons to charge you for fixing their Campervans!

Lejede en autocamper fra filialen i Elmshorn, Hamburg Nord, i en uge fra 30.06.23. Et beslag viste sig at være ødelagt, så den 5. soveplads ikke kunne etableres, som den er beregnet til. Jeg nævnte dette ved aflevering, men beklagede mig ikke. Ingen kompensation for dette. Vi tabte en let hårbørste ned på spisebordet, hvilket gav et mærke i den tynde laminatbordplade. Dette blev vi opkrævet 276 € for, selvom man kunne finde et tilsvarende mærke i en anden bordplade. Altså: Man lader en så ubetydelig skade være, men opkræver stadig, sådan at man kan stikke pengene i lommen. Jeg gik ikke ind i en diskussion af dette ved afleveringen af autocamperen, for jeg havde på forhånd tegnet en ekstra forsikring (dækning af selvrisiko ), så jeg forventede at jeg var dækket i ft. denne udgift. Forsikringen var tegnet hos selskabet Ergo, formidlet af Rent Easy udlejeren, som også tog imod mit kreditkort for betaling. Imidlertid modtog jeg to uger efter ferien en mail fra forsikringsselskabet om, at forsikringen var annulleret, da betalingen ikke var gået igennem. Den betaling, som Rent Easy var ansvarlig for at gennemføre! Betød det så, at Rent Easy trak sit krav om dækning af “skaden” tilbage? Nej, Rent Easy nægter at have et ansvar i dette forhold. I øvrigt et interessant samarbejde, som Rent Easy har med Ergo: En tegnet forsikring, som viser sig at være dårlig forretning for forsikringsselskabet, kan annulleres.

Jeg foreslår, at du overvejer en ekstra gang, om det virkelig er hos Rent Easy Hamburg Nord, du vil leje autocamper.

We just got home after 18 days in a motorhome from Rent-easy.
I have to point out the extremely professional and personal customer service, they are giving.

When you enter the camper store, in which Rent-easy is located, you find the counter to your left. From the moment we got there, we were nicely greeted and were offered to stay in a waiting room with coffee and cold drinks, due to many eager vacation costumers.

When it was our turn, Tanja patiently showed us the motorhome and presented all its features. I have to say they have a special employee in Tanja, in which I will elaborate on later. There were plenty of time to ask questions, which was good, because it was our first time in a motorhome. When we left the place in the motorhome, we felt safe in how to start our journey. 



How your vacation in a motorhome turns out, is entirely up to you. All I can say is, it was our first, but definitely not our last trip in a motorhome, and we will most certainly use Rent-easy again. 



Our returning process of the motorhome did unfortunately not go as we planned.
Firstly we had entered the wrong address on the GPS. Which resulted in us driving around in central Hamburg, with lots of cars close to us. This meant we arrived late for the returning of the motorhome.

Secondly we completely miscalculated how long time it would take to empty it, which resulted in us being 2,5 late before they could get to clean it and hand it over to new customers. Of course, I do not recommend to pull the same act as we did, as it obviously stressed the kind workers at Rent-easy, but how they and Tanja handled it, made med sure that this is where we go back to, when we are to rent a motorhome again.
I could tell Tanja was stressed due to our late return, but she handled it professionally by gently letting me know, how it stressed the workers there, but that she had managed a solution.

I wish we had time to go back and give all the workers ice cream, but our energy just wasn’t to it. Therefore I decided to write this thoroughly review, to let Rent-easy know, how much I appreciate their work.
