With Richardson &Starling and surveyor Jack Cowan
from Dundee office came out. Very polite very professional checked out the property and the damp problem we thought we had, he explained how damp works which also gave us a better insight into these sort of problems. It was refreshing to get an honest company after our experience with Park Homes, we would use Richardson and Starling without hesitation.

UPDATE: very pleased with the survey after some issues in getting this organised. Jason was polite and knowledgeable and provided helpful, practical advice. Despite the initial issues, would not hesitate to use R&S again - clearly do deserve their great reputation!

I paid for a survey and the surveyor did not show up. I contacted the office and was told it was due to an admin error and another appointment was arranged. Again, I waited in and no-one turned up, so I contacted the office again to request a refund for the survey and haven’t received a response. I’m out of pocket with no survey being carried out and no idea of when I will get my money back. I went with R&S as they have a reputation for great service but for me that has not been the case.

Really appreciated the "can-do" attitude of Neil and Alan ensuring this tricky job was completed to a high standard, in an awkward location, with minimal disruption. Jodi also deserves a mention because she was particularly helpful and pleasant maintaining lines of communication throughout. Many thanks for a job well done!

all the staff that worked in my house done an excellent job dont remember all there names but special mention to Malky and Arron went above and beyond to get job finished on time and the inspector was so nice and helpful worked in shieldhill house from 11 july till 18 july

Billy and David were very punctual. They worked hard and removed the cavity wall insulation. Everything was left in excellent order. Thank you to both.

Evan and Mike W from the Carlisle Branch arrived at 8-15 am this morning, introduced themselves to me and started preparations for their day's work. They were soon up in the Loft moving insulation and floor boards, then the spraying began . They finished a few minutes ago to drive back to Carlisle, leaving everything spick and span.
They were two of the nicest and most efficient workman I have ever had the chance to meet.
Well done Evan and Mike and thank you for a job very well done.

Hats off to Scott and David, both kitchen and utility room ceiling changed in couple days. Had work myself so left the keys with no problems boys left the house clean and tidy. Thank you!

David and Scott attended a job today at my property, both men were great. Very happy with their work, they even stayed later to tie the job up.

David and Scott were very friendly, explained everything they were doing and made a very neat and tidy job,of plastering and laying our new bathroom floor, they also cleaned up after themselves the best they could would definitely recommend.

Aaron and Connor from Stirling worked like trojans for two full days to get my bathroom fixed. The guys before them kept my floor from caving in. There were some complications along the way but Alec kept me informed and I’m very happy with the end result.

We had heard good reports regarding Richardson and Starling and sure enough Gregor and all staff involved from Hawick branch provided everything from first class workmanship to excellent communication throughout the dampproofing process. The work place was cleaned up every evening. I would not hesitate to recommend them. A special mention to the plasterer should also not go unnoticed.

David & Scott from the Ayr branch both very professional & punctual finished work to a high standard and cleaned up to a high standard. Can’t thank them enough.
