I am compelled to share my experience regarding the management and payment practices at this company, which have been deeply troubling. Historically, the company has shown a concerning pattern of delayed or unpaid salaries, which was a major factor in the closure of the London branch. The persistent issues with salary payments led to a situation where employees had no choice but to take legal action, culminating in a tribunal due to non-payment.

The situation has not improved with the company’s relocation to the US. Now, with staff based in the Philippines and delivery operations in Ukraine, the management, particularly Mr Amit Raibi, continues to exploit these arrangements. Employees often face uncertainty about when, or even if, they will be paid, depending on the company’s financial status.

It is important to note that any positive reviews about the company should be viewed with skepticism, as the owners, including Dady Dalal and Mr Amit Raibi are well aware of these problematic practices but choose to ignore them. This ongoing pattern of behavior reflects poorly on the company’s work ethic and respect for its employees. Prospective employees and business partners should be aware of these issues before engaging with the company.

TO ALL LONDON BRIDES AFFECTED BY THE LONDON FLAGSHIP CLOSURE

Like me, you may have received an email today to explain that Riki Dalal London Flagship has gone bankrupt. This was a very alarming email to receive, and I was devastated when I read it. HOWEVER, I have to say that since this morning I have been in contact directly with Riki Dalal in Israel (Dady), and the team based in Ukraine (Oxana) have also contacted me.

Given that the email was only received this morning, they have provided a solution in less than 12hrs, have promised me that my dress and veil will be made and sent to me in the next 2 months, and that my bespoke requests will be honoured too.

I paid for an alterations package that will not be possible, and no refund will be possible either, however this is something that can be claimed through bank insurance I believe.

While it's not the experience that I had hoped for choosing a luxury bridal store, and while I might need to pay for alterations elsewhere, the team have been exceptionally compassionate and have worked to find a solution for me very quickly. I trust that I will get my dress that I paid for, and I trust that they are genuine when they say this.

I just wanted to provide a little bit of hope to everyone else who might be worrying and panicking at this time.

Utterly horrendous

Utterly horrendous! Left us high and dry. Closed the shop. No refund a couple of months before our wedding. Disgrace! We have emailed multiple times requesting a refund and they just say they can no longer do alterations and refuse to give us refunds.

I never got my dress or promised refund

I never got my dress. Ordered 2021 1yr later my wedding never got a dress or explanation. never got a refund despite promises. Avoid this company. Look them up on companies House they owe over half a million in debt.

I am so disappointed and upset with…

I am so disappointed and upset with Riki Dalal London store & the customer service. I am emailing them & calling them to check the status of my dress and no one is responding. They knew i had a flight to catch for my wedding abroad but till date its been 6 months no one is responding.
I am fed up and tired. Paid 1000 of pounds to go through this is so so inhuman and awful of them to treat a bride such.
Please do not buy their products you will go through hell

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered my dress on 12th march, wedding in September. I had to contact the store at the start of august asking when my dress fitting would be. First appointment made, cancelled. Second appointment made, cancelled. Only communicated with via email. My third fitting was cancelled 3 weeks before the wedding. I had to fight to get a real answer with why the appointments were cancelled. Turns out the dress was stuck in transit. Which I understand but the awful and lack of customer service made it feel 10 times worse and also so close to the wedding. I asked for a refund and was told ‘please just wait one more day we can fit you in same day appointment when dress arrives’ I do shift work so very unrealistic. I again asked for a refund and got ignored. I rang the store when I finally got an answer I finally got an apology and was told they cannot issue refunds in store and to email the ceo?! I have sent the CEO 13 times with no reply. When I threatened to dispute the transaction with the card Issuer I received a refund request form but I sent it back 5 days ago and nothing. I’m giving them 24 hours before proceeding with disputing the transaction. It’s not fair to expect a bride to wait 3 weeks before the wedding for their dress, there’s enough stress around planning a wedding. Zero customer service. Shop elsewhere.

Riki Dalal London Boutique

I would give -10 if I could. The company pretends to portray themselves as a high end company, but do not waste your money here. My dress was supposed to be delivered June 2020 and by this day I still don't have it. My wedding was postponed because of COVID, and the company was supposed to be shipping my wedding dress to a shop nearby for alterations etc. To date, they still didn't and they won't either. I just wish I could turn back in time and never bought my dress there. The whole experience is just making me hating the dress and not even wanting it anymore from the extremely awful service received.
Find somewhere else to buy your dress if you want peace of mind
