Recognised as the largest private hire service provider in Oxfordshire, Royal Cars have been family run since humble beginnings, with only 4 cars. Situated in the celebrated University City of Oxford, they have been a staple of the community for nearly 30 years. With passion and drive they expanded and now offer the most diverse service available in the area. Currently Royal Cars boast a fleet of over 500 vehicles including 8 seaters, wheelchair accessible, executive and VIP vehicles, something for every occasion. Royal Cars is the greenest service in Oxfordshire with over 70% of the fleet being Hybrid. In an effort to offer the safest service in the region they are in the process of installing CCTV in all their cars. Also, all their drivers are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and have undergone a medical examination before being licensed by the local District Councils, your safety is very important to Royal Cars. We accept all types of work, from local runs to airport transfers to long-distance pickups and drop offs, weddings and occasionally have crossed the channel. Also, we provide Home to School Transport with and without Passenger assistants. Take a ride with the largest, safest, friendliest, fastest and greenest service in Oxfordshire.

The driver was kind and helpful but the…

The driver was kind and helpful but the dispatch sent the wrong type of car. We travelled with a wheelchair and requested an estate car, but they sent a people carrier which was difficult for the wheelchair user to climb into. We managed in the end and got to our destination in time but it could have been better if the dispatch listened better.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Our driver arrived in good time. He was courteous and kind, helping with our luggage. Due to traffic we had to change route but arrived quickly at our destination. I warmly recommend.

Driver this morning was very rude…

Driver this morning was very rude arrived early, I booked night before to attend difficult appointment, he phoned said he would cancel when I was trying to go downstairs with knee injury plus he was 15 minutes early, he had the address to drop me off and purposely drove away just to charge me more, left me in tears this morning before a very stressful appointment, was so upset
