Reliable and Customer Service Focused
Rymans is a reliable supplier of stationary and accessories at a reasonable price. Customer service is second to none and saves time while shopping because the assistant is able to direct me directly to the item(s) I want. The Rymans Reward is a worthwhile additional service.

Shocking customer service and atittude
If you're looking for slow service, rude staff, and incompetent customer service, this is the perfect place (Ryman at Arndale). Second-hand embarrassment from how painful and cringeworthy it was navigating the staff's dismissive attitude today (3 May 2026), which hasn't been initiated by myself at all. Just a PSA for others :) x

I would like say a huge thank you to the staff at the Birmingham City Centre store. Especially Tom. My daughter, running in the Birmingham Half Marathon/The Great Run the next day, did not have her name on her running number like it was meant to. The female assistant was very helpful giving product details, waiting times and prices to rectify the situation. Tom - an absolute asset to your team then did the honours. Tom who was rushed off of his feet with a growing queue at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon, made a name badge to exactly match the colour, font and size of the number badge. It wasn't the easiest of tasks and at no point did he waver. Always polite and professional. Thank you so so much. You have made one runner a very happy young lady.

Technology Unreliable & Prices Expensive
On the positive side, the store staff were friendly and helpful (they get both the stars). However, the online Print Shop couldn't handle my order. On Week 1, I tried to combine some documents which needed 3 copies and some which needed 1 copy, and it failed to multiply the first by 3. The Chat agent was rude and kept rushing me. I went to the store the next week, but the WiFi couldn't handle the file download to my laptop. The following week, I organised all my docs as one copy and tried the Print Shop again. Bulk upload kept freezing, so I uploaded the files one by one. After sending and paying, the store said the order crashed. They didn't receive my WeTransfer message and half of the files were too big for me to email, so I had to have a refund (this was processed quickly, tbf, with a nice apology). The prices were very high, too. I would have been better off buying another printer.

I came in to get passport photos at the Shandwick Place branch of Rymans in Edinburgh and the staff were extremely helpful. They guided me through the whole process and made it fun. I was offered a protective envelope and the photos were cut to precision. Claire and Liz were fantastic. I won't ever go anywhere else for my photos and stationary needs!

Shakib at the Blackburn branch was absolutely amazing!!! He went well above the call of duty. I was worried that my work would not look professional enough but he made sure it was. He really helped me with a job presentation and I cannot recommend him enough!
Mixed experience
We had a mixed experience at Rymans in Walthamstow. We ordered our table name signs for our wedding from Rymans at short notice (as another supplier let us down). They were made very speedily which was great, but my (now) husband went to pick them up, they had wrongly been printed single-sided when we had ordered them double-sided. The member of staff offered to reprint them right away which was good, however it was inconvenient that they hadn't been ready when we went to pick them up because Walthamstow is terrible for parking and I was driving round and round local streets trying to avoid the traffic wardens. It looks circa 10-15 mins for them to be reprinted. My husband brought them back to the car and we received a call from the member of staff in the shop saying that he had forgotten one (it had been left on the printer). I imagine this error was jointly the fault of both my husband and the shop assistant, and it was great that she called us before we had driven an hour and a half to the wedding venue and then been without one, but again was a pain to go back in to get the remaining sign as I had to once again play "avoid the traffic wardens" while driving in circles around local residential streets.
All in all, a lack of attention to detail with our order, but the shop staff were friendly and fixed issues when they realised the various errors.

Funeral order of service
Printing was excellent quality and took a weight off my mind because I was originally going to print it all myself, but decided not to as the chance of my printer misbehaving was high!
