Broken app/machine/phone line - SCAM!
Machines and Apps Broken! SCAM!
They make it impossible to pay - and then when you evidence this, they then charge you and say you should have used the methods I just explained weren't working. There is no signal to 'call' but should it really require endless effort to be able to pay and then get fined for not paying when they make it somewhat impossible to pay.... I would avoid. I think its all a scam.
I legitimately received a PCN for…
I legitimately received a PCN for parking where I shouldn't at a very busy hospital. Over a period of 2 days I made multiple attempts to pay online - these all failed as did the telephone option. The voice recognition was appalling. I was told to check with my bank - the bank told me it was not them declining the payment and the problem was at the retailers end. Finally I was sent a link to pay which did work. It should not be this difficult to pay a fine - all their technology is not fit for purpose.
Awful app
Awful app. Could not find car park I was in. No code on signs to help identify. Had to select by using the map. Selected vehicle and time duration to then find that it would not let me tick the box to accept t&c’s so I could not complete the payment. Then had to queue for the only remaining ticket machine that worked. Appalling experience. Should not be this difficult to pay for parking
As soon as they took over the local…
As soon as they took over the local tube station car park they double the prices. Tfl should ashamed of them selves . Guess what it's now cheaper to drive to our destination than use public transport.this will fall on deaf ears I know. Just explain what you have done to warrant the doubling in price?
I have a yearly ticket for the Saba Car…
I have a yearly ticket for the Saba Car Park in Brentwood which is still valid until July but still received a parking fine.
delay in appeal decision
Further to my post on 15 May 2026 I still have not received a decision from my appeal sent 8 April 2026. I confirmed on a call this week that you have all the information needed to determine the appeal. Given the delay can someone please look at this as a matter of urgency?
1 wouldn’t even give Saba one star
1 wouldn’t even give Saba one star if I had the choice. The app refused to allow me to park for more than one hour at a time so I had to park for three hours which cost me at least double the amount.
Stoke Mandeville hospital
Stoke Mandeville hospital, as machine not working, not unusual pay by Saba App.
If Zero star were an option that would be my choice.
The app is terrible.
Wasted 30 minutes and failed to get it to work.
Scam After paying at machine I proceeded to…
After paying at machine I proceeded to exit barrier where it asked for another payment which was double what I had just paid. I went to the “help office” who said the first charge would be “thrown out” so I should pay again at barrier, they didn’t even bother to check their computer to see I’d already paid. Not wanting to incur more charge I did. On arriving home and checking my account I found they had taken both payments. Several emails later they eventually refunded me. With not a word of apology for the inconvenience or my time spent trying to resolve the issue. I suggest they retrain their staff to actually “help” at their “Help Office” and not sit around chatting. I will park somewhere else in the future.
Scam do not park where there is saba parking
I parked my car and tried to payby the methods advertised in the parking area at a train
station , No method worked . Phone the number unable take my call, pay at machine , broken, pay by debit card not able as unable to take payments that day. Now I have a fine and appealed with evidence but was denied .Apparently I should have found another place to park . Not able to as next parking was a mile away and I would have missed my appointment .
Its a scam to make money useless company that do not listen to reason
Visited A&E at Watford General Hospital…
Visited A&E at Watford General Hospital due to a health problem and needed urgent scans and overnight monitoring. Because the surface car park requires payment in advance, I initially paid for 4 hours based on the estimated waiting time given to me.
Unfortunately, my condition required further investigations, so I had to continue extending my parking by purchasing additional sessions through the Saba Parking app.
In total, I paid £24 for continuous parking from 11am–11pm, despite the advertised tariff clearly stating that parking up to 12 hours costs £12.
The issue is that the app does not allow customers to extend an existing session or automatically apply the appropriate capped tariff. Instead, every extension becomes a completely new charge. This is particularly unfair in a hospital setting, where patients in A&E cannot reasonably predict how long they will need to stay.
I contacted Saba Parking with proof of all payments and requested a goodwill refund of the £12 difference. The request was refused.
I fully understand the need for parking controls, and I ensured valid payment was in place at all times. However, the current system penalises people for medical uncertainty and does not feel appropriate for hospital patients or visitors.
You just keep on creeping that station parking up…
You just keep on creeping that station parking up don’t you, it’s risen over 50% already in a year and you just go and add another 60p on, greedy scumbags

Just thought I’d have a look to see if this company made a comment, but they haven’t . Just shows how much this company cares doesn’t it? Not one reply to anyone and the only reason I reckon they’ve got one star is because you can’t post a review unless you give them one star.
Penalised for a disability, appalling customer service
Infact, my experience doesn't even verify 1 star. Firtly, they are not listed on the International Parking Community so one is unable to make a complaint through this international parking organisation.
Secondly, I have been penalised for having a disability which led me to input incorrect letters for my registration - an error on my behalf I know but dyslexia can cause this to occur. Despite appealing, sending my bank statement to them and the time at which I paid for the car of the same description and for the reg that matched 4 of the 7 letters/digits, I was told that I had exceeded the relevant time to make a payment of £20 - despite waiting for an email response. After various emails (always having to wait over a week, if not 2 for a response) I am now paying £170 (penalty notice amount and debt resolution fee). A complaint will be sent to the Ombudsman as no consideration has been taken into account, or any empathy shown for a disability and a bank statement showing the parking fee was paid. Appalling service and encourage everyone to avoid using their parking areas.
Absolutely merciless and greedy
Absolutely merciless and greedy. Misses accidentally booked parking for a day the day after because she did it after midnight and didnt notice the date had changed to the next day. Sent an appeal showing she paid but stated the wrong day - appeal came back rejected. Utter pieces of pond scum.
Appaling service
Appaling service. So unhelpful. Paid the ap but got a fine as was in the incorrect area, honestly unbeknown to me. Appealed with receipts but they did not reply because I had paid the £61.95 fine thus admitting guilt. I said i only paid the fine by the expiry date to save paying the £100 increase . penalty. The office number you ring have no authority and will not put you through to the admin people as they are not customer facing. The Company are thieves in my opinion.
Both myself and my wife tried to use…
Both myself and my wife tried to use the Saba app to park at St Albans City hospital today and the app didn’t even recognize the car park and not the easiest of machines to operate as well should come with a warning
Absolutely disgraceful experience with…
Absolutely disgraceful experience with Saba Parking and TfL. I parked at North Greenwich Station Car Park for just over 2 hours in the Friday evening 8pm and was charged £27.50 – an outrageous and unjustifiable amount for such a short stay.
There was no clear or prominent warning that parking for a couple of hours would cost nearly £30. The pricing structure feels deliberately unclear, leaving drivers trapped into paying excessive charges after they have already parked. This is not transparent or fair in any sense.
What makes this even worse is that my family and I arrived in four separate vehicles, all parked for a similar duration, and every single one was charged £27.50. That is over £100 in total for just a short visit. This is beyond unreasonable and feels like outright exploitation of motorists.
To add insult to injury, nearby parking at the O2 is significantly cheaper, which makes it obvious that this pricing is completely disproportionate and unjustified. TfL should be held accountable for allowing this to happen on their land, and Saba should be ashamed of operating in this manner.
I would strongly warn others to avoid this car park at all costs unless you are prepared to be massively overcharged. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has completely destroyed any trust in both Saba Parking and TfL.
Absolutely abhorrent company
Absolutely abhorrent company! Scamming people!
I parked. Returned to my vehicle and tried to pay. Machines were not working. The app wasn't working. I provided photo and video evidence of this and they rejected my appeal.
I urge everyone to report them to the ombudsman/POPLA!
They cannot continue to get away with this!
slechte service
