Day price increase from £6 to £8 at Chalfont & Latimer. That’s some inflation busting price rise.
If I could give a zero I would
If I could give a zero I would. They exploit NHS staff and are unyielding in any moderate attempts to resolve. Disgraceful company.
Incorrect pricing info (x4)
Put prices up (23%)
Didn’t publish the prices
On the day of the increase 4 verifiable sources had the old tariff - complaint auto reply, chat bot auto reply, website until very late in the day and the ticket machine at the station (which remained wrong the next day too).
Saba refuse to refund the difference.
It’s only a small amount for the 4 days but they are plainly wrong.
They have a monopoly on local stations. - so they feel they can whatever they please.
Shoddy
If I could rate this car park…
If I could rate this car park -10000000000 I would! I hate this car park! I hate this company! It’s a joke!
3 times now! I have parked at the Hertford County Hospital Car Park and all 3 times I have had to pay for parking 3 times because the app fails online but still takes my money from my bank? This company is a joke! I read reviews about this place all the time but sadly it’s a small car park so I have no other option!
This place sucks!!! The owner or Managers should be ashamed to work here!
I fully expect refunds but we all know that won’t happen! Just a scam company!

Received a parking ticket 3 days after the cut off date
They do not send by any tracked delivery so basically said tough luck it isn’t our fault it is the postal service
I said it isn’t my fault either but I have to pay the extra £40
Hopeless not impressed quite rude and pretty much said tough luck
-100000 if I could!
-100000 if I could!
Received a parking ticket… and by that I mean I received a letter from a debt recovery 3 months after said offence date saying I could no longer appeal and owed £170 including registration fees. I tried to explain it was the first I heard of it and was treated awfully and with no respect. Have parked in the same car park for 5+ years and although I genuinely made the mistake of not paying this certain day (due to personal reasons and not remembering); that didn’t matter and o was told essentially ‘tough luck’. Set up a repayment plan and am being charged £1.95 per transaction as the ‘admin fee’ of £70 which is part of the £170 fine doesn’t cover it. I’m interested to know where the admin was given I received no letters. I am 1/3 through paying my fine and have received further correspondence saying I’m being taken to court by a law firm. To say this has been highly distressing as an overall experience is an understatement. Avoid like a plague and get a taxi to Debden station instead!!
No option to give 0 stars
No option to give 0 stars. They make it impossible to appeal fairly even if you produce photographic evidence that shows you are in the lines of the space. Their evidence showed my number plate only with no other evidence. Total scammers. Car park unsafe and a total mess, hazardous to cars and disappointing the NHS are in partnership
Avoid this car crash at all costs
Avoid any car park with any reference to Saba Parking. They are a predatory oragnisation that exists on its ability to fine users of third party sites. Their customer service, on-site service, infrastructure, processes, and morals are all from the dark ages, and their business model is a form of modern racketeering.
Don’t even think of going to them
Don’t even think of going to them, no response on email or any action taken for the complaints.

Saba executive; 'Disabled people tend to be elderly and poor at modern tech. Let's make the process of obtaining free blue badge parking as complicated as possible using mobile phones. Some will think they have gone through all the hoops, but we will issue penalty notices to those that unintentionally haven't even thought they park correctly and display a blue badge. We don't need to provide any proof they have not complied, what records of ours can they access. Great idea says the MD Philip Herring.
Sent an appeal (no acknowledgment of receipt) to Saba earlier today before coming here and realising from the other reviews, that I am wasting my time. £60 to pay and probably another one on it's way.
Absolutely disgusting that they charge…
Absolutely disgusting that they charge an additional handling fee on top of the PCN charge, how is this even legal. What an absolute rip off…….
One star is too much for these jokers …

Saba
This company is a scam. I downloaded the app as it was on a station car park notice to park. It made 4 fraudulent charges after installing and I had to cancel my card. Disgusting.
Crap website
Crap website, difficult and ponderous to use due to needless registration and overly tedious payment process. Gave up and used the machine.
Appalling Customer Service
The worst company I have ever dealt with. All of their customer service team say different things and have rotten attitudes. Will never be using this company to park again… avoid at all costs!
Awful
Awful! No acknowledgement of the reason for your appeal, so obvious no one reads them at all, they just slam you with a generic automated response and take your money.
Ticketless machines
SABA have installed Ticketless machines at Skegness Hospital, paid £1 for an hour and left within time. Got a demand for failing to display a valid ticket or voucher!! Appealed and was eventually informed that as I had failed to provide any evidence of payment?? (Coin), I had to pay or appeal to the Parking Association, SABA do not recognise appeals to/from the Government Ombudsman. Other reviews accuse them of being Scammers, needs to be pronounced Scummers.
Worst ever parking company I`ve seen in…
Worst ever parking company I`ve seen in the UK. So unorganised in the parking management.
very much unfriendly staff. Very keen on charging and earning. But not keen on uplifting the parking standard.
CANCER PATIENTS VICTIMISED AT MILTON KEYNES UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL FOR INFRINGING SABA PARKING RULES
WHAT ARE YOU MEANT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT A CANCER CENTRE FOR URGENT CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENT BUT AFTER ENTERING A SABA PARKING RUN FACILITIY THERE ARE NO AVAILABLE PARKING BAYS?
It is already traumatic enough to be a cancer victim, but what do you do when you arrive at the hospital only to find that there are insufficient car parking spaces? This happened to me on two of three visits this week when I took my wife for treatment at the Milton Keynes University Hospital Cancer Centre. Along with other patients/carers, the only places to park were on double RED lines without posing an obstruction. As I believed, red lines are only used on public roads to indicate a Redway, with appropriate signage on display? A privately operated car park is NOT a Redway as far as I am aware!
My wife and I are both in our 70s, I have trouble walking and there are no other car parks remotely close by, yet Saba strictly enforces its rights by ticketing cars that are not parked according to 'their' rules. This is despite being issued with a ticket when entering only to find no available spaces. If paid within 14 days, the charge is £40, thereafter it increases to £70 if left unpaid. This is grossly unfair and potentially immoral. Surely, by issuing a ticket to enter the car park, a driver expects the car park operator to provide an available parking space?
Having found a PCN attached to my windscreen, when I got home I immediately went online to appeal the charge, correctly stating that I was taking my wife for chemotherapy and needed to park to keep our appointment. I felt a cancer treatment appointment was sufficiently mitigating to have the charge cancelled, but, unsurprisingly, Saba refused to agree, and further, blankly refused to consider any further appeal or to enter into any correspondence, thus denying me any right to engage in any logical discussion of the matter. Their attitude is grossly unfair and callously inhumane and adds to the traumatic and stressful nature experienced shared by all cancer victims. By strictly imposing rules that, at busy times, are unworkable when many patients have no alternative other than to park wherever they can. Surely, once Saba has issued a ticket to enter the car park, in my opinion they are contractually obliged to provide a parking space? However, as we know, with car parking companies, the rules only ever work in their favour! As we can see from the majority of comments on this page, it is most likely that any appeal against a charge will be dismissed out of hand. This is where the new government needs to step in to introduce laws that punish the kind of intransigence employed by these companies that, in my opinion, are nothing more than sharp practice that are beyond the spirit of the law.
There are laws governing car park signage that state they must be clear with readable and accessible terms and conditions. Yet, at the MKUH Cancer Centre car park, the only signs I could see are approximately 8 feet off the ground and the wording is so small to render it unreadable. So, it is okay for Saba to break the rules, but when a driver breaches their (unreadable, so therefore 'assumed') rules, they impose an excess charge and refuse to accept reasonable mitigating circumstances to waive the charge. Within just minutes of lodging my online appeal to Saba, it was flatly and blatantly turned down.
Although I would have preferred to challenge this charge in court, in order to spare my dear wife from further stress, I will pay the £40 demanded. However, I am considering fighting this company tooth and nail, in whatever way I deem appropriate, to obtain a full refund. Before considering my next action, I will lodge a complaint and wait for a response from the Parking on Private Land Appeal Service although I doubt I will get much joy from them.
I believe patients are systematically being fleeced by Saba Parking. Cancer patients are exempt from parking charges at the MKUH Cancer Centre, so shouldn't they also be exempt from Saba's outrageous charges for breaking its parking rules that fail to take into account the situation facing patients when there is no sensible and workable alternative? Surely, if the entry gate is issuing tickets, is there no mechanism to determine whether spaces are available after departing vehicles have freed up spaces? It must be questioned why a car park continue to issue tickets when no spaces are available?
I firmly understand that if a parked car is genuinely creating an obstruction, action needs to be taken, but parking on the red lines with two wheels on the kerb of a rarely used pavement (as many patients have done this week) creates no obstruction whatsoever, therefore this is merely another example of an unjust money making exercise made worse by being aimed at seriously vulnerable people.
Hailey voster has a great customer…
