I had a disappointing experience with Safarni.com. The final amount charged was much higher than the price initially shown and approved by me for payment, with extra fees appearing after payment, especially through Apple Pay.

Customer service was unhelpful and focused only on terms and conditions instead of resolving the issue. Travelers should carefully check the final charged amount before booking and preferred not to use Apple Pay for payment .

Price is more that what was written in the site considerably because of usage of Apple Pay. it is the first time for me to have this experience.

Misleading Pricing: the final amount deducted from my card is significantly higher than the initial price displayed or confirmed on payment screen.
Hidden Charges: unexpected additional charges, including undisclosed VAT that appears only after the payment has processed.
Customer Service Issues: unhelpful customer support, particularly when dealing with refund request.
Currency Errors: the app displays price in local currency (such as SAR) but processes the final deduction in other currency (AED), resulting in higher total costs

I booked a flight ticket through Safarni.com and my credit card was charged successfully. However, after payment, the company refused to issue the electronic ticket unless I sent highly sensitive information through regular email, including a passport/ID copy, OTP message, and partial credit card details.
For security reasons and according to my bank’s fraud-prevention guidance, I refused to send OTP information or personal identification over unsecured email. I requested a secure upload portal or verification method instead, but none was provided.
I then requested cancellation of the order. The company responded that no refund would be processed unless I first submitted the requested information.
Later, the company reduced the requirement and asked only for a screenshot of the bank debit transaction. I complied immediately and provided it. However, after I complied, they again demanded the remaining sensitive information and still refused both ticket issuance and refund.
At no point was the ticket issued or the service delivered.
I am sharing this experience so other customers can make informed decisions and carefully consider the risks of sending sensitive financial or identity information over email.

I had a flight from Dhaka to Jed on April 3rd 2026. This flight cancelled due to global affairs. THey did not provide me any alternate flight. Also I get my money nearly after two months of cancellation. Everyday I contacted them, they had only one excuse that "We are in contact with airline, We will update you once we receive money". It was a very bad experience of my life. I would never suggest anyone to deal with Safarni. They are not responsive even when you need them at all. Also I paid 1700 S.R for my flight and in return I got 1045 S.R only.

They are thief’s. Ticket price increases with hidden charges without displaying to customers. On top of that they deduct payment only in AED while displaying in SAR.

Dishonest, impolite, and put large extra charges.

Prices are not real, there are hidden fees not declared before payment, supposed to pay 7170 sar for 5 tickets, at payment appeared 8000 sar, after payment the deductible was 9950 sar, more than 20% hidden fees are paid, don’t try it even there customer services are not answering except on emails and are not helpful

If there is less than a star I would absolutely give it to them, they are the worst, they are a scam company they show prices and end up taking another amount and no one answering

They have hidden costs. I had to pay almost 50% more than the published rates. When I talked to them, nobody answered. Only through WhatsApp they replied. I told that I was not happy with the way they took more money from me, but they didn't care and said it is in the terms and conditions, which I checked and not all hidden costs are included. They charged me 100 SAR (27 USD) to send me notifications via WhatsApp

My flight was cancelled by the airline (Flyadeal)

The airline has already refunded SAR 134 — this is officially confirmed by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) along with transaction details — yet Safarni is still holding my money and falsely claiming that only SAR 50 was refunded.

This is not just poor service, it is clear misrepresentation and extremely concerning handling of customer funds. Even after multiple follow-ups, they failed to provide any proof of transaction or a clear explanation.

Completely unreliable platform. Strongly not recommended. Avoid at all costs.

I was booked flight by safarni for airline air Arabia & airline cancelled flight due to war situation & I requested to airlines refund amount & airlines refund my full amount to safarni and safarni dedicated my 660 riyal for option I selected non refundable which is in my case as aviation rules not apply my ticket because ticket cancelled by airlines but safarni dedicated my amount and not giving me clarification

I regrettably used Safarni.com without checking their Trustpilot reviews first, which clearly reflect a pattern of serious issues.
I booked a flight ticket advertised at around 1,100 SAR, with the currency and amount shown consistently throughout the checkout process. To avoid extra card fees, I switched to Apple Pay, which showed no additional charges, and I approved the payment via Face ID. I also took a screenshot of the final amount.
Later, I discovered I had been charged over 1,350 SAR, nearly 24% more than the advertised price. When I contacted my bank, they initially suspected fraud. It then became clear that Safarni had charged an excessive hidden fee, claiming it was disclosed in their terms and conditions—this was reiterated by their unhelpful customer service when I contacted them.
Even more concerning, the currency was silently changed from SAR to AED at the final step, without any warning. This is either a serious system flaw or a misleading practice, and it could also result in additional currency conversion fees, the exact value of which is still unknown as the transaction is pending.
Customer service was dismissive and repeatedly referred me to the terms and conditions while ignoring the core issue of misleading pricing and lack of transparency.
I intend to escalate this matter to the relevant financial ombudsman and consumer protection authorities due to misleading checkout practices, hidden fees, and charging more than the advertised price. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.

نصابين حاطين السعر بويقو مختلف لما دخلت و حجزت خذو مبلغ اكبر المشكله مو هنا المشكله باني جيت ع الحجز مافيه لا رقم حجز ولا رقم مرجع ولا اي شي يثبت ان في حجز طيران نصبو علي باختصار و خذو فلوسي و ما صار فيه حجز ولا حد يرد ولا تجاوب

I booked a flight (Order #854722974) with a total invoice price of 985.90 SAR. However, they charged 1015 AED from my card, which is significantly higher than the agreed-upon price. Customer service refused to resolve the issue. Be careful of hidden fees and price manipulation. I have filed an official complaint with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism

موقع معندوش مصداقيه تمام حجزت تذكره المفروض اني اخترت اعلى فئه في الحجز عشان يكون في الالغاء وتغيير المعاد بدون رسوم ولما جيت اكلمهم عشان اعمل الغاء او تغيير لمعاد الحجز لقيتهم بيقولولي تدفع مبلغ الي هو نص تمن التذكره وحاولت اوضحلهم انه ده اعلى فئه عشان موظف خدمه يحاول يساعدني لا عمل العكس بكل قله ذوق ومبقاش بيرد عليا اصلا انا علطول باحجز من مواقع كتير بس ده اخر تعامل مع الموقع ده ارجو محدش يتعامل معاهم
