Safestore - Bristol Ashton Gate Avis 

Had a 12 month contract with them at Bedminster, Bristol. Moved out today was asked by the younger girl if I could leave feedback something I never do. Unsure of her name very polite and professional. But as for the other members of staff both old ladies totally zero interest and damn right rude. Arrived at 3:15 on a Sunday once to grab something and was snapped at and told WE CLOSE AT 4PM !! You’ll be locked in otherwise that was twice that happened. Then when I asked about when my agreement ends i was told I’ll be penalised if I exit early again in a rude unprofessional way. I literally moved from one storage centre to another purely because of the bad vibe. Thanks to the young lady short hair today. 🙌

They send confusing emails, confusing pricing, invoices per units, silently add on fees, and will lock up your unit if payment is less than one month overdue. They ignore vulnerable people, fail to negotiate, cause stress and harassment. Staff appeared smily and friendly - but also smily and friendly during bullying. Bit weird!

Borderline scam introductory offers which hide the fact you need to give 14 days notice to cancel the contract or you are automatically enrolled into paying for the next month (at vastly increased expense).

The notice period was not mentioned once during the face to face signing of the contract or made clear in the actual contract. Many other things were discussed during the face to face contract signing. It is not made clear on the website and is designed to be as hidden as possible to the customer.

A customer who will not use Safestore again.

Been using safe store for quite a few years. Emily, Ruth, Fin and staff absolutely brilliant. All staff are so friendly and Will bend over back wards to help you. The storage units are nice and clean and well looked after. 10 out of 10 with a big thank you to Emily.

The team at this location are great, very helpful patient accommodating. The reception area is welcoming, organised and well stocked with last minute items which are easy to forget. Staff are very knowledgeable and helped to recommend a suitable sized storage for our needs without recommending an oversized storage. Prices are extremely reasonable given the standard of service and quality of facilities. Being able to onboard remotely saves a lot of time. There is also use of a forklift driver there who is happy to help with your requirements. Overall a great and non-stressful experience - one of the best storage experiences I've had. There are also a range of contracts to suit your needs from flexible to non-flexible.

The service I received was polite and accommodating.

Jason White could not have been more helpful when guiding me thro the different sizes of units. He was cheerful, patient and knowledgable. He offered advice without any pressure and he really knew what he was talking about. Thank you Jason!

I stored the contents of my apartment with SafeStore in Ashton Gate, Bristol. I was primarily helped by Dom, who was the personification of excellent customer service. I had to rent a van and drive from London to Bristol on the day of my checkout and faced severe traffic. Dom was responsive throughout the day and as we approached the closing time of SafeStore in Ashton Gate, he helped me to unload my entire unit and even stayed past opening hours to do so. This experience, coupled with Dom’s friendly and approachable demeanor, makes him a huge asset to customers and to the SafeStore team. Great work Dom.

Spoke with Emily on the phone. She was very patient, fantastic listener and extremely helpful. She did everything in her power to help me currently and for the future. Kept her calm even though I was stressing out 10/10 employee.

Storage Consultant Paul was super helpful with arranging a quote and clearly articulating the next steps. It was great to talk to a real live person about my storage needs. So far, so good
