Fantastic service from Vikkie on the Pumpwise helpline. Had issues with an existing pump, which Vikkie was able to address and arranged for immediate issue of a replacement. Very impressed with her customer service skills and her detailed plumbing knowledge. Its not often i say it these days, but 'Well done!'

We are now on our 4th pump in the last 9 months. We have altered the pipework twice on their recommendation and to our cost. Finally they suggested that we need a different pump for our system, with an engineer to come out and look at it. The engineer came out with only the same pump as the original and had not been informed of the problems. The final resolution from Salamander is that a new pump will be sent, but we have to pay for the fitting etc, but as two pumps were suggested as possible solutions, no expert is available to say which pump???? I would recommend that if possible you steer clear of this company. The customer service is appalling, the pumps keep breaking down.

I’ve now had four Salamander pumps in three years, and the reliability has dropped with each replacement. The first unit lasted two years, but subsequent pumps have failed much sooner — one overheated and failed within just two weeks of installation. The system was installed by a qualified plumber, all filters are clean, and flow rate is excellent.
The real frustration begins when you try to make a warranty claim. Salamander requires an extraordinary amount of information: photos of every angle of the hot water cylinder, pipework, pump, electrical supply, serial numbers, tank measurements, water depth, distances between components, and more. The guide literally spans sections A to O, each requiring separate photos or measurements.
For a domestic pump, this level of evidence feels disproportionate and gives the impression that the process is designed to deter claims rather than support customers.
If you value reliability and straightforward support, I’d think carefully before choosing a Salamander pump.

I had a shower pump that had progressively got noisy. i contacted salamander and spoke with susan Haley one of the technical advisors. She did a great job of making sure i had all the relevant information, once i had sent this to her she quickly issued me with a new pump and advised on some modifications just to make sure it does not happen again. Susan was very efficient and polite and made the whole experience stress free.

I recently had to replace my existing Salamander shower pump from a positive pressure pump to a negative pressure pump due to a bathroom and en-suite refit, the pump developed problems so I called the technical team. They were all brilliant, very supportive and guided me to the design changes that needed to be carried out becuase of the pump change. They replaced the pump which arrived very quickly, now happily working.

Every time over the years we’ve had to ring salamander for assistance or advice every person has been brilliant.

The lady (Susan Haley) who I spoke to on the phone regarding my failed pump was extremely helpful and friendly as was the engineer/plumber (Carl Proven) who sorted it all out.Thank you both.

I purchased a salamander pump which was installed in my bathroom a year ago. The expensive pump didn't last a year. And stupidly my next plumber (whom confirmed that the pump was faulty but installed correctly) swapped the pump with another Salamander! Asked me to claim warranty, I am doomed!i tried to claim warranty but its all a hoax! There is no warranty on these … they will blame it on your system and you have to provide extensive report on your water system prior installation (so they can blame it on any tiny fail on your water system) and after…
absolutely insane.
Please buy a different pump. Hopefully more reliable and more support.
Or you will end up replacing yours like me. Absolutely horrendous customer service as well. Elusive covered by different websites (like dutypoint).
Do not buy salamander if you a domestic user. Ever.

What a pleasure to deal with Caroline My pump was broken and with no fuss Caroline apologised and dealt with organising a replacement for me and gave me full details of what would happen next, it was an absolute please to deal with Caroline who is clearly passionate about delivering good customer services in a role where not all customers are a pleasure to deal with.

I phone Salamander Pumps today. Susan was very helpful and took great care to resolve my problem. I was very satisfied with the outcome. Susan was very polite and courteous throughout.
I have contacted Salamander a few times over the years and have always received very polite and helpful service. They have gone the extra mile to make sure that the I was satisfied.

Had a problem with a pump not working that was fitted 3 years ago. My plumber asked me to call Salamander after he called them. The extremely helpful staff that I dealt with including, Lee, Harry, Caroline & Susan, Helped me to resolve the issue by informing me that I required a new / different type of pump. Problem resolved they are taking back the old pump & replacing with the new pump & I only pay the difference in cost. They will also make arrangements to collect the old pump. Now that's what I call first class service - Thank you all at Salamander

I have had 3 Salamander CTForce30 pumps over the last 3 years.
When the first one went I tried using my warranty but I got bogged down with technical issues so gave up on that
I then had my plumbing rearranged but the second one failed. I then had an S flange installed and further changes made. The fuses kept blowing then eventually the pump burnt out. I then installed a Stuart Turner Monsoon 2 bar twin and happy days.
Everything OK!
