Michael is a Brilliant salesman, nothing was too much trouble (love the aprons ) thoroughly recommend visiting there

Furniture delivered on time 21st Aug didn’t realise backs came seperately , delivery men assembled sofas on closer inspection the two seater back moved back and forward and the armchair had a gap between back and armrest
The three seater was fine no movement no gaps footstools fine they organised independent company to come out the first available date was 22nd sept ! However then received call later that day to say they had some one in area would visit following day great we thought
Just had technician visit he was very knowledgeable he took the bottom of sofa took out back tightened up rails refitted said one of rails was installed upside down however after all that there is still movement in one side of sofa also gap in chair narrowed slightly but after calling his technical manager I was told both these issues meet tolerance levels expected in the furniture?? And he had to say it was a failed claim but I could tick box to disagree if I wished of course I disagree the three sofa back is solid no movement as is the chair back so why should we accept the two seater moving ? And the gap in chair arms does not appear in three seater sofa they sit flush which by the way so does the display sofa in the store in Aberdeen and the back doesn’t move surely we should have received what we saw in the store ? We also at no point were advised by salesman that this may happen on the sofas we get delivered I appreciate the technicians help today and it is slightly better but now awaiting a call from Scs for them to explain why I have a sofa different from the display model i was sold from at the moment I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone instore service good up to point of placing order but if quality is this inconsistent very disappointing for money paid

Received delivery 21st Aug of 3 seater sofa 2 seater sofa armchair and 2 footstools wasn’t aware the backs of furniture came seperately to slot in delivery crew very good assembled furniture however the 2 seater sofa back moves back and forward and makes creaking noise I believe manufacturing fault and armchair one side of back doesn’t sit flush with an inch gap to arm again I believe a manufacturing fault followed reporting system ( can’t speak to human !) filled out form and uploaded pictures automatic response was I will be contacted in 5 days I hope problems can and will be resolved promptly
Also still awaiting adjustment to finance total as furniture came in promotion before delivery and store manager put in manual adjustment but still not reduced on finance been told for past 6 weeks different things about it being corrected now told they don’t do it until goods delivered
I feel the service instore whilst buying was excellant but staff knowledge and communication since regarding this matter has been poor and frustrating
I emailed head office customer services two weeks ago asking for email confirmation this would be actioned but so far not had the courtesy of an acknowledgement or reply poor service from head office I believe can set the standards delivered throughout their stores
We like the furn and understand problems can occur I just hope it is responded to quicker than my ongoing issue with change to order price

He listened to what I was looking for, gave me great advice, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. I’m really happy with my choice and would definitely recommend Michael for his excellent customer service!

Do not buy from this company. The after care if you have a problem is non existent, I am now having to go to trading standards as they seem to thing a 4/5 inch gap is acceptable between seating cushions on a new sofa. I haven't even had it a month and they are not interested. Take your money somewhere else where the customer has some kind of say after. If I new how to put pictures on a review I would but they will be on social.media anyway.

We are very pleased with our sofas, very comfortable and well made. The 2 men that delivered, were very nice and assembled my sofa and positioned it for me and ensured i was happy before they left.

I had a really excellent experience from start to finish at poltronesofà in Aberdeen.

Michael greeted me with a cheerful “ciao” and took the time to explain how poltronesofà works. Rather than simply choosing a sofa exactly as you see it in the showroom, you can choose the style you like and then tailor it with your preferred fabric or leather and colour. It gives you far more flexibility than I had expected.

I was looking for something quite specific — a relatively small sofa to fit into a fixed space — and Michael was extremely patient. He took me around the options that would work, talked me through the different choices and then managed to make my preferred sofa work for the space I had available.

At no point did I feel rushed or pushed towards anything. The service from beginning to end was excellent, and the whole process was very easy.

I would thoroughly recommend the Aberdeen store and, in particular, Michael. Friendly conversation, witty throughout and clearly very experienced at what he does. A genuinely first-class customer experience.
