Seascapeconservatories 

Our Seascape conservatory has just been completed and we are very happy with the finished build.
Pros: Jamie and his team of builders were a pleasure to work with, quick and efficient, and left the site clean and tidy.
Karl and his team of fitters were a joy to watch, they were so slick the way they worked together, and finished the job without any problems.

CONS: COMMUNICATION! This was awful and we began to feel we had been scammed. A simple phone call or email would have put our minds at rest. We were asked to pay by bank transfer, no credit cards allowed, which made us, our family and our bank, very worried.
All ended well and we are very pleased with our conservatory, albeit with a few more grey hairs!

Where to start, ANYONE DO NOT USE THIS company!!!!!!!
We paid them a substantial money in April last year towards building an Orangery and were told the build time would be 6 - 8 weeks and everything organised by them, AND here we are at the end of January and all we have is a brick shell, that was built in August that we separately paid directly to their sub-contractor.
In September they had a second substantial amount of money from us, this time on our bank statement it was paid to Precision Glass Group, this was for the the Orangery windows/doors/roof (one small window in another room has been fitted but is left unfinished)
The first delay of 6wks was apparently was due to the frame colour we chose, obviously we were upset about this but agreed to wait, even though it was on the colour samples they supplied to us, other reasons being told that the paint has bubbled and needed to be re-done, then the weather - MANY dates we were given over the phone have come and gone where the build was supposed to continue but it never happened and communication is diabolical, it has been SO STRESSFUL, always US asking the sales person and office person, what is happening and being told they will "get back to us" BUT VERY RARELY DO. We were told we may get some compensation for the problems with the frames but nothing has happened yet!!!
The salesperson who came to our address in April told us their office was at Shoreham Airport (the address on their paperwork) so a week ago finally we decided to go there to get answers only to be told Seascape is using the address fraudulently!! and they have had other people turning up and are in the same position as ourselves. If you have read everything above you will understand why we do no recommend these people!!!

Seascape just completed the refurbishment of our existing conservatory. Really happy with the finished look - tiles look better than expected as we were concerned whether they would match the house. Would use again on another project.

We had a tiled roof extension completed by this company over the winter period. Team were fantastic, can’t give them enough praise. Jamie even did some extra work for us when he was doing the building. Although there were delays, it was down to the poor weather. But the team at the office were great at keeping me updated. Overall we are pleased with the project and have referred them to a couple of my friends

I want to start this review by highlighting that the fitters are absolutely brilliant and this review in no way reflects them.

Seascape conservatories. What can I say about them? The only Pro is the price paid for the work.

Their communication was absolutely shocking, disappearing for weeks at a time. We were originally due to have our conservatory fitted in March and it ended up not being completed until July.

The measurements for the conservatory were odd, we trusted the sales team but when it came to fitting it was clear there were better ways this could have been done.

Our conservatory leaked a number of times and the fitters were kind enough to resolve. Communication from sales and the office was often zero.

We were then quoted for additional work over the phone for a gulley to stop a leak. In the 3 weeks it took them to send this quote via email, it had gone up £1000. Interestingly, they disappeared again when I asked if calls were recorded.

No one at Seascapes seems to care about the experience we've had, simply collecting their money.

All in all, if price is your absolute number 1 driver, use Seascapes but at your peril. If you want a conservatory fitted on time and appreciate decent communication, go anywhere else.

Although this project took a long time to be completed and communication could have been heaps better, I am very pleased with the end result. I now have a quality conservatory to replace my old leaky one. It is very smart, a lot warmer, and a good job has been done overall. The builders were brilliant!

I recently had a conservatory built by seascapes, and overall, it was a rewarding experience.

Pros: The initial consultation was very informative. The sales team was friendly and really took the time to help me choose a design that fits my home perfectly. The installation crew was not only professional but also friendly, working efficiently to complete the project on time. I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of materials used and the beautiful finish.

Cons: While there were a few minor communication hiccups, I appreciate that the team at seascapes is committed to resolving any issues. There were some finishing touches that needed a little extra attention, but they were responsive and sent someone out to address them quickly.

Overall, we are happy with the final product and the aesthetics it brings to my home. I believe seascapes is dedicated to customer satisfaction, and I’m confident they’ll continue to improve their service.

We are very happy with our new conservatory. It is very well built from the brick wall to the fitting of the windows. The Plastering is lovely an smooth and it was fin8shed of with a nice smooth flooring and skirting boards. All the workmen were polite, friendly and unobtrusive. We would highly recommend Seascape Conservatories. Thank you

Seascape took down our old leaky conservatory an replaced it with a beautiful orangery. The guys worked through dreadful weather, but never complained and the finished item is exactly what we wanted. The quality of the windows and doors is extremely high, and the staff that put it all together did a superb job. We would thoroughly recommend Seascape to anyone who wants a top quality product.

We would consider zero stars but thankfully the groundwork and building work was completed perfectly and those guys were brilliant as were the electricians.
From day 1 we realised this company was not organised properly and to be honest the way the company contracted their subbies to work I could have project managed this better myself had I realised what a shambles this company is. I could write a 20 page essay here (ignoring the fact a clearing team also tried to steal our garden planters and we never received an apology for that incident!) but I’ll keep it to the massive problem we had regarding the roof.
The project took 4 months to complete, longer than expected but within days of the project being completed the brand new lantern had a leak. A fix was attempted this did not work. On investigation of the top of the roof ourselves we made the finding the space made in the roof for the latern/light was incorrect, the finishing has not been done properly either. We asked Seascapes to rectify the problem that either the space needed to be resized or the correct size lantern should be fitted. Lack of responsibility taken and after several emails and calls we then received no replies. With realising we wanted a proper roofing company to review and repair the damage we had 5 different companies reviewing and quoting and each made further findings of the instal not being right. In the end,after 5months of desperation for a solution, we have had to employ a roofing specialist company to strip the top of the roofing off and install again. The guttering had to be redone as did the lead work to the house.
Thankfully we did and didn’t just get minor repairs done because when the new company removed the roof there was already water pooling in the cavity ontop of the insulation! After 12-24months or so this would have seeped into the woodwork and electrics and this would have been even more disastrous! They also found many ‘basics’ were not completed once the roof was off. Their words to us were ‘if I were you I’d sue it’s that bad!’.

We have had to pay nearly another quarter of the cost of the original project to get this rectified to the standard it should have been installed at. As I said at the beginning we had MANY other issues (the poor finishing of the interior works, the flooring, warranty null and void) but I could be here all day. We did have a bigger project than they usually undertake however if it was beyond them they shouldn’t have quoted and accepted the work! The team of guys who were here over the project were all really lovely and we believe did their best given the inadequate time, costs and guidance from Seascapes! At the end of the day Seascapes should be taking responsibility of their project and not blame their contractors or suppliers and should be looking to resolve problems properly. Please think twice regarding this company.

Really happy with our conservatory. Happy with Seascape and the people who carried out each stage of the construction. A slight delay on the completion date but this was due to the awful weather..Would definitely recommend Seascape Conservatories.

Wife and I are extremely pleased with the new orangery fitted by Seascape, though the build took a bit longer than anticipated, this was due to our lovely British weather and nothing to do with Seascape. Everyone was very polite, from the guys doing the building work, to the guys doing the fitting of the roof & windows. I am more than happy to recommend them, and hope to get them back to add another extension to another part of the house.

We have been really pleased from start to finish with the entire project. Great communication, high standard of work, considerate and friendly build teams. We are now left with a lovely all year round conservatory. I would highly recommend Seascape.

Seascape recently completed a roof installation on my old conservatory. The fitting team we had on site were fantastic and did some extra work for us. We did have an issue with some damp plasterboard during the fitting which seascape replaced for us at no extra cost. Both myself and my wife are happy with the end result.

We have had such poor communication from this company, taking weeks to respond to email or ignoring emails/calls completely. When they didn’t show up when confirmed I then did more research and came across these reviews saying it’s either a scam or very poor workmanship. I paid for the deposit by credit card so alerted my credit card company to the fact I thought I’d been scammed and what do you know…I’m now inundated with calls and to say that they are still coming and would we like to see other projects they’re about to finish in order to regain our trust. I know they have 30 days to dispute the fact that they haven’t scammed us and not sure what to do now. We definitely don’t want them anywhere near our home now ☹️

We employed Seascape to build us an Orangery over the summer to give us more space for a dining room. All the trades they employed on the build were professional and tidy - arriving at our home on time and staying until the work was done (as we have had other projects in the past where builders have left half way through the day which can be annoying). We had a couple of snags that were quickly rectified by their fitters. Overall we are really happy with our finished Orangery, giving us great space to use over the winter. We would definitely recommend them.

We have lived with our orangery for a year and are already experiencing problems.
There were aspects of the job that were excellent, the ground work and brickwork in particular and very courteous and polite workmen.
But on the whole we experienced problems from late starting of project, poor communication, both early and late deliveries, leaks etc - most were rectified eventually, especially once an office manager was employed!
However, a year on the glass on lantern window is misaligned, the guttering leaks down the back and the fibreglass is patchy and lifting away and needs redoing!!
In all conscience I cannot recommend this company.

PLEASE do not use this company it’s run by who knows ?????? SSP MANAGEMENT and more companies check the person out who visits you they are not what they seem !!!!!! Lots of people left ripped off,
They will take your money and never to be seen again !
It’s a desk top company and Banks have advised it’s a SCAM COMPANY!!!
Please do not fall for the act ! You will never get the job done or get your money back
It’s a disgrace!!!!

I have had a fantastic experience with Seascape and they have done a really excellent job.
The workmanship is top notch and the lads were very polite clean and tidy during the installation I really would like to give them more than 5 stars.
