Failed delivery on Saturday…

So I placed an order on Friday just before 10 am, within a couple of hours order was processed , confirmation , and that it would be delivered the following day on Saturday. (paid for next day Saturday delivery).
Logged into portal, no shipping or tracking information, no messages no emails, no nothing no parcel delivery.
It’s 6 pm on Saturday nothing delivered. I contacted customer services earlier on Saturday and was told it was being processed by another supplier and would be delivered.
Looking at some of the poor service reviews. I can now see why my parcel wasn’t delivered.
I need to look up what drop shipping is?
They dispatched notice said this…” We like to keep you in the loop with important updates, so here's a note to say we've dispatched your order.”
Notice the word dispatched!

Easy site to order from

Happy with the ordering process as we knew what spec of laptop we required however it asked me to select a delivery date and was aware that someone needed to be at home as it cannot be left in a 'safe place' I selected Monday as I knew I would be here all day, the Laptop got delivered on Saturday around 5minutes before we were going out so could of easily missed the delivery. No point selecting a delivery date if its not going to come on the selected date/time. Also DPD should have provided a PIN for me to quote this didnt happen either!!

Service Shoddy Award

Ordered 2 hard drives with standard delivery of @5-6 days. After a few days, I received an email saying my goods had been dispatched for delivery the next day and that I could track the order online. When I tried to track it there was no information so contacted Servers Direct regarding this. After numerous phone calls to their customer service (as they initially told me they couldn’t tell me anything about my delivery) they advised me their suppliers are out of stock and the supplier won’t get a delivery for three weeks!!
I asked him what would happen if I’d paid for next day delivery, and they admitted well you wouldn’t get it. I think this is a shoddy practice to sell goods stating in stock when they aren’t. I consequently phoned back to cancel and request a refund and was then told that before doing this, they had to contact their suppliers for a cancellation. I advised them that legally my contract was with them Servers Direct the retailer not their suppliers, and that they Servers Direct needed to refund me immediately, not in a few days time after hearing from their suppliers. After a rather long wait on the phone as the person had to go and check about this they agreed to do it. They also agreed to send me an email confirming this, but as yet two days later I have not received it.
When I check my account, it shows this order is still in progress and has not been cancelled, you need to sort this out and issue me with a refund.

One phone call and one online inquiry promised a callback within 2 hours, which didn't happen. Apparantly the delivery escalations team don't do much escalating! After navigating their complex call menu this morning, asking to cancel, and after a 5 min wait on hold, I have been told the order is cancelled, but I have to wait five days for the money to return to my card. Terrible customer experience. Avoid.

Almost perfect

Supplier did everything as promised. A couple of issues with the carrier. First attempted delivery failed, van arrived on time but it looked like the package was not loaded and the driver left after reorganising his load outside the house. Would have been nice if he had popped his head in to let me know what was going on. Second attempt was successful and driver was helpful. A couple of minor cosmetic issues with the unit, might have been transit damage or poor QA at AEG. Functionally fine.

Delivery date missed multiple times, no connunication, when phoned, reasured of next day delivery and again missed. Called again, attitude was it happens, nothing offered in way of appology, poor service will not buy from here again

Pleased with the delivery on the order…

Pleased with the delivery on the order , it was more or less on time that was stated . The second delivery on the cable was delayed and wasn't delivered as stated it would have been .
