The only regret is not getting fitted sooner!
I was fitted for Driver, 3 wood and recovery club just over a month ago. The experience of the fitting was really good and better than I could have imagined. I have played over 15 rounds since receiving the clubs and I can honestly say that they are amazing. Without doubt I am finding more fairways, they are more forgiving and not being the longest of hitters, I now have the confidence to chase up par 5’s in 2 which I have never done before. My previous woods had been “fitted” at a demo day, the experience at SGGT is a fitting so don’t be fooled by any fitting days etc. You pay for what you get and I wish I had done the right thing and been fitted years ago.

Driver shaft fitting
Had a driver shaft fitting with Ross Leeds and again the experience was 1st class , Rods tried an array of shafts till we found the one the suited me best and gave me a few yards extra which is always nice , they are definitely the best club fitters in Scotland

Out of pocket
Firstly to be absolutely fair and balanced, after the clubs not working for me, they got me back in and the second fitter (a different one from the first time) completely changed the shaft in the clubs, also did that out of hours on a Friday night, excellent service, no issues with that. But after spending over a £1000 for clubs, and been put into different shafts (so the first fitter got it wrong?) I’m no further forward. My game has gone backwards, hitting them 10 times worse than my original clubs. Such a disappointment “experience”. Never again. I would say to anyone, please don’t expect a “tour player level experience” it’s not. I’m now stuck with clubs that don’t suit me, after spending £1100. I will now need to go elsewhere, trade these clubs in, and loose hundreds of pounds.

I recently had the pleasure of being fitted for a full set of irons at SGGT by Scott Fraser, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Scott's expertise in golf equipment fitting is unparalleled. The range of options available, from shafts to heads and grips, was remarkable, and the advanced technology used to determine the best equipment for my game was truly impressive.
Not only was the technical aspect top-notch, but the customer service was equally outstanding. Scott and his team were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made my time there enjoyable. Their approach made a significant difference, adding a personal touch to the whole experience.
The icing on the cake was the swift arrival of my custom-fit irons – they were ready in under two weeks! For any golfer serious about their game, I wholeheartedly recommend SGGT. The fact i could see my ball flight from the turf was crucial to help understand the importance of bounce and grind.

What a great experience my wife and I…
What a great experience my wife and I had. Spent 2 days going through our bags with James and Scott and the rest of the team. We really liked the time the team spent getting things right. It's all about getting the right clubs for you no matter your capability. We have both had fittings before, which were brand focused TBH and nothing like the experience we had a SGGT. The guys took time to explain everything including the club build process. Great experience all round.

A very enjoyable experience
I have recently worked with James on a full bag fitting. We started with the top of the bag and James took great care to find the right driver shaft and head for me. Once we had cracked that a fairway wood and hybrid followed. At our next session we worked on the irons and finally the wedges. I was very impressed with James's knowledge and enthusiasm. The goal was to allow me more consistency and a better ball flight and I have noticed a marked improvement since taking delivery of my new clubs. The set up at the centre is first class. I found the process very informative and enjoyable and James was happy to meet me again after delivery to check all was well.

Was in for an iron fitting with James. Spent nearly 2 hours with me going through various heads, shafts and set ups before settling on a set of mixed set, great attention to detail.

i have had a number of fittings by SGGT in the past, but this is the first time I have been to the new facility.
I was fitted for new irons by Scott Fraser, who I remembered from his previous employment. He was very good then, but even better now that he had a much wider selection to work with.
Can highly recommend Scott and the team at SGGT.

Fantastic fitting for new driver shaft
Fantastic fitting for new driver shaft. Dropped 2 shots off my handicap in 3 rounds from 6 to 4 only wish I had gone sooner. I cannot recommend SGGT enough and will not be buying any future clubs unless fitted by SGGT. A big thanks to James the club fitter who was fantastic. Very relaxing facility which for a…
Very relaxing facility which for a first time fitting can always have the fear of being nervous and getting a dose of the shanks - but honestly staff were lovely, chatted away about personal life kept you swinging easy and you just hit balls while they did the hard work of finding the right sticks for you. Recommended these facilities to all my friends and the lead time was very quick and I’m ultra happy with my new clubs, will be returning at some point to get my driver. Thanks again guys,

Had a fitting at sggt with Scott Fraser what a great experience,Scott helped me to understand what I needed for my swing speed, interchanging shafts and heads to see ball speed drop off and distance lost great explanation of the process and very patient I did not realise how important a fitting was as I always bought off the shelf not anymore.
