I ordered my old Whal Senior from Hairco 3 years ago and now I just received my new Whal Senior 2.0 last week and I love it, I will always trust Hairco if I need anything.

I had a seriously concerning experience with Hairco Australia and would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from them.

I returned a product unused, immediately after opening it, and it was repackaged in front of another person. Despite this, my refund was refused on the basis that the item allegedly contained “blonde hair” and showed signs of use—claims that are completely inconsistent with the condition of the product when it was returned.

The photos and “evidence” provided do not match the item I sent back. When I challenged this, the company relied entirely on its own internal inspection without providing any verifiable proof or clear chain of custody linking those findings to my return. This raises serious concerns about whether the correct item was even assessed, or whether customers are being incorrectly blamed for issues that did not originate from them.

Even more concerning was their response. Rather than properly investigating the discrepancy or acknowledging the possibility of error, they doubled down and dismissed the issue outright. There was no genuine attempt to resolve the dispute fairly—just a blanket refusal based on their own unverified assessment.

This experience has left me with significant concerns about their returns process and business practices. If a company can attribute damage or “use” to a customer without clear, verifiable evidence, it places the customer in an unfair and vulnerable position with little ability to challenge the claim.

I have escalated this matter to Consumer Affairs Victoria and initiated a dispute through Afterpay to recover my money. I will be pursuing this further.

Based on this experience, I would not trust this business with returns or refunds. Proceed with extreme caution.

As a Salon owner I rely on companies to provide an affordable service as well as prompt delivery and this is exactly what you get with Hairco Hair & Beauty Supplies .
Would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Excellent customer service

Products not delivered and although we had tracking number and could see package was stuck at Auspost, Auspost advise for this co to contact them. They didn't respond to emails, were totally unhelpful on phone. Not interested in helping at all, we had to sort out ourselves. Customer service 0 out of 10 with our issue.
