The cashiers at ShopRite Lawrence, NJ are rude and just don't care They're doing you a favor in going to that ShopRite. Guess, the forgot that grocery shopping is very competitive and I'll NEVER go there again.

I love to shop at Shoprite, but I do have some concerns. I bought peaches and nectarines a few times and found they were hard and black inside. These fruits are not as soft and juicy as before, so I had to throw them out. Organic Lemons and grapes that were seedless why is this?

Awful. They were three hours late, couldn't find a lot of stuff in store (frozen pea, chicken thighs, sparkling water), made no substitutions (neapolitan ice-cream) even though I checked that they would substitute these items. I ended up going into store in the afternoon and - surprise - found all the items that were supposedly not available. I won't be using again.

Living birds pooping on produce. Dead ones found by the meat section. Expired meds. False Advertisement. Staff too wide to physically move or assist and too illiterate to read false advertisements. Dirty as heck and smelly bathrooms.

PSA: I sent this communication to ShopRite's USA and South African "Leadership" Teams and NEVER received a response. That says it all about this RACIST and Horrible Company.

Good evening, ShopRite (USA) Executive Leadership,

I am sorry to email you on the weekend. However, I had a horrific "customer service" experience at the Delran, NJ ShopRite this morning. I have no faith at all that my customer service concerns will be addressed at the store level or any local leadership level. Thus, I am hoping that your Executive Team can at least hold the staff, at this ShopRite, accountable for the horrific "customer service" that I received as per my email below. To me, it is very unprofessional and unethical that the "leadership" at the Delran, NJ ShopRite allows their staff to be lazy and disrespect not only consumers but your corporate mission:

ShopRite’s mission is to “Care Deeply About People, Helping Them To Eat Well And Be Happy®”, aiming to provide a satisfying and convenient shopping experience while supporting the well-being of customers and their communities

The above mission was NOT AT ALL on display when I patronized the ShopRite in Delran, NJ today.

As I stated below, the store "leaders" and staff will retaliate against me and not provide any accountability nor address my concerns regarding my ShopRite at Delran, NJ experience today. I do not view any team member at this store as an honest and ethical adherer of your corporate philosophy to "Care Deeply About People." I would appreciate an email or letter (I can provide my home address to the Executive Team) acknowledging that my complaint will be addressed from the Executive Corporate Level.

I had a winning lottery ticket for $200.00. I went to Delran, NJ ShopRite to cash it out at 9:30am. They had signage up at the customer service desk about the lottery only available at the machines. I thought that was weird since it was 9:30am, and all the ShopRite stores that I have patronized over the last decade or so (Parsippany, West Orange, West Caldwell, Mt. Laurel and Cinnaminson) open their lottery services at 8:00am. So, I asked a staff member there if the lottery services were available. She snapped at me, "The Lottery is not open." I was taken aback by her tone and disrespect. I chose to not address and just leave the store. If I had caused a scene there because of her disrespect, they would have called the police on me and the police in Delran, NJ to date do NOT like us African Americans. This staff member was being lazy and approved by management to NOT provide services to customers which I am sure is against corporate policy. I am not seeking anything here. I am just disappointed that the services in the Delran, NJ ShopRite are NOT available to all customers at the approved times. I will avoid using this ShopRite going forward.

Please do better ShopRite.

I had a birthday cake made for my son's 50th delicious the staff was so nice and helpful when I went to order it I picked it up August 8th of this year about 10:00 a.m. very good tasting cake thank you

You need to move bowl & basket white rice frozen microwavable Aisle 22 section 80 UPPPP to high ....it is very ANNOYING Alao your bakery donuts too high only weekends you have them displayed lower

It is very wrong and perhaps discriminatory that there is not an alternate option to get the digital coupons without scrolling for hours. Senior citizens and vusually impaired people cannot "load" these coupons
Shoprite should do what Stop & Shop has done,
and provide an in store kiosk or something similar that a customer can easily scan and get the best prices. Especially in these extremely high price times.
Just not fair or good business.

I have shopped online with Shoprite for a number of years. Out of all the people who have delivered my groceries to my car, I would like to commend the ladies I call the dynamic duo - Heather and Nicole at the Phillipsburg store. They are all business, load my groceries quickly, yet take the time to smile, say hello, and wish me a great day. These ladies are a credit to your store - and seem to enjoy what they do. Please note how grateful I am to them, for all they do for me, and for how kind they are.

2 yogurts came exploded in the bag and 2 items were missing from our order

They usually have everything that I need so I will be going there again.

They were slow at the baking section and ignorant

- Bowl and Basket label taking over the shelves replacing quality name brands.
- Pre sliced deli, disgusting on so many levels
- Seafood? I bought rancid clams the other day. Got them home to purge and almost purged myself. Thankfully, the smell and condition of the bag warned us not to eat them however, when I went to return them, I was told I needed my receipt and despite using my "Shop rite" customer number to purchase them, I was told I could only receive a store credit. No, oh my we are so sorry, here's your refund... it felt like I was responsible for picking out rancid clams that shouldn't have been in the case to begin with. I guess I should check all the bread for mold before I purchase?
Customer service? Shoprite has the worst. No one wants to work! They see you waiting in line and continue their personal conversations and act as if you are a nuisance.
Anyone know where a Giant is in Burlington County?

I'm very frustrated. The local Shoprite 1080 McDonald Avenue and Avenue I in Brooklyn after doing nothing replaced their carts with low quality wire hooks that have immediately snapped off the remaining metal is jagged and razor sharp creating a hazard for customers and children sitting in the carts. Store management has ignored the issue.

I have reached out to the HR supervisor along with my client who I am working with in trying to assist him with obtaining employment. We have not received a return call, despite stopping by the Shoprite store in-person twice, leaving at least 3-4 messages. The HR manager has been unprofessional and non-responsive. In all my 30 years of social work, this is disgusting and unprofessional. Not even a return call to follow up. People make time for what they want to make time for. If this lady has not been in the hospital or had a death in her family, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for a no call back for a period of over THREE weeks, unacceptable, PERIOD! If I was the type of social worker that functioned on that level, I would have been in jail or terminated from my position. SMH.

I've been a ShopRite customer for 20 years and I along with my family will no longer shop here due to the way these stores are run. I went to pickup groceries today at my local shoprite and the things im seeing now are very disturbing.

I go inside and I see people walking their NASTY, DIRTY "service" dogs in the store like its no big deal! why arent the employees stopping this!? Do they need to wait for the dog to take a sh** on the floor before they do anything!? Then, i'm going down the aisle and I see an AI powered Tally robot glitching out in the aisle scanning inventory with cameras mounted on it like this is so dystopian and sad. What next are you going to have a robot bagging groceries and slicing meats? Are you going to have a drug dealer on aisle 3 and a prostitute on aisle 8!? What direction is this GROCERY STORE going!?

And I confidently assume these occurrences are happening at different ShopRite locations. This is completely unacceptable.

This place is no longer a grocery store, but a zoo. I'm done shopping here.

Becareful when shopping sale items!
I'm finding that certain items, especially pistachio nuts, when put on sale are usually stale and inedible.
Pistachios are relatively expensive so the sale price is very attractive. My last purchase wound up in the trash. Nuts were dried out like chewing on pebbles.

Returning open food items is against store policy.

I went 2 shoprite on May 19th I bought turkey hill Ice cream tin roof sundae I go 2 eat it & it's ice in the ice cream looks freezer burn i no if i would've called the store the lady at customer service would've had an attitude & told me 2 bring the ice cream back she has short twist a accent she's rude so instead I just threw it out b cause I don't drive & would have 2 take the bus meanwhile all the ice-cream from that freezer had ice all around it the ice-cream taste funny & all so I wonder what will they do probably nothing but it's sad I wasted my money on ice-cream when my son & I couldn't even enjoy it

I've been going to the shoprite for over 25 years, Philadelphia Pennsylvania aramingo avenue ShopRite. I recently purchased chicken wing dings that they had on sale two bags for eight, when I open the bags it was big clumps of meat could not describe what it was big feathers and it was very disappointing why give it to us and you know the product is flawed.

crispy Italian bread. This is NO bread. Ingredients: 40 different additives!!!
Ammonium sulfate,etc,etc,etc. WHAT? Real bread: water,salt,yeast,flour. NO MORE.
