We would absolutely recommend Simply Easy Refurbs. We are incredibly happy with the finished article of our home and can't believe it is the same place. Throughout the whole process communication was clear and consistent and they were able to highlight and deal with any issues that arose. The team had great patience when we were not sure what we wanted to do and helped us come to the right decisions.

I obtained about 5 quotes for my works and decided to go with SimplyEasy due to good feedback but more so my gut feeling and I’m glad I did. Laura who I initially met with and provided my quote was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. There was no hard sell like some of the others. I wanted a better technical understanding of the conversion so Laura came back with a project manager who explained things further.

We were matched with our PM Stas, who was just brilliant from start to finish. A real gent and he is very patient despite me being a bit of a pain and changing my mind on a couple of bits even after these tasks had been completed. He arranged to have these things altered the way I wanted. He also gave really good guidance on some design points we were unsure of. Anytime I flagged a point for discussion he would be straight round to discuss. The build team were also fantastic. My neighbours commented on how efficient and respectful the team were and like Stas they would also go the extra mile to satisfy the job.

The SimplyEasy rep called me every week or so to check how things were progressing.

Edit: Jan 2025 - Reduced my scoring due to the incompetence of the glazier sub-contractor. French door panels required replacement due to broken seals causing condensation. 3 x failed visits with last minute cancellation and still not sorted. I standby my earlier review but unfortunately this has tainted what was originally a good experience. Also have noisy extractor fan duct that can’t seem to be resolved.

Provided a good end to end service from drawings to building control through to completion.
Great sub-contractors who pulled out all the stops to get our project completed before Christmas.

After meeting with lots of loft conversion companies in south London we decided that we were going to ask simply easy refurbs to be the company to complete a hip to gable loft conversion for us.

Just a few months on from our initial meeting with simply easy refurbs we have a wonderful loft conversion as promised from start to finish within just 8 weeks.

Sebastian and his team proved to be professional, helpful, hardworking with fantastic communication via what’s app through the whole project. This made it simple and easy for everyone involved. Unlike many other companies there were also no hidden costs for the works.

I had spent around a year meeting other companies and was at the stage of giving up.

Extremely grateful to have had him as project manager, was always there for me throughout the process, always with a smile, wonderful attitude and steadfast professionalism.
Overall, the entire team was just a pleasure to deal with from start to end, always polite and professional building team is very experienced and of a high level. They pay a lot of attention to customers’ needs and you can trust that they will create a brilliant loft for you.

I had quite a few quotes from different local companies before doing my loft conversion and was quite overwhelmed with the risk of choosing the best one! I chose Simply Easy because although they weren’t the cheapest option they worked really hard to get me a quote that would be accurate as possible ahead of time rather than avoiding ‘surprises’ later and explained the additions in the quote they thought were worthwhile investments (e.g bigger Velux for more light). I really trusted the team in those initial conversations and received very little messing about compared to competitors who I honestly felt gave me higher quotes because I was a single woman.

Seb and the team managed the project initially then contracted it on to ICS. Initially I was worried about this but it worked brilliantly. My project manager, Stas, guided me through every decision and step and was a real expert. My builders were often on site early, ready to start on time and got the job finished bang on schedule.
When they did the snagging I had a key for a window snap and they sorted it with no issue. Thanks for the huge improvement to my home!

We would like to congratulate you and recommend your company to as many people as possible who wish to have any extension work done to their home.
From our initial meeting Georgie and I felt extremely confident in your ability to deliver on what we required. Your presentation from the outset was informative, detailed and transparent. Having then met with Surrey General Builders, the main contractor, again we felt in safe hands with the abilities of Dean and Luan.
Throughout the build there were a number of changes and adaptions to the building and the structure, mainly from our side but all of the team handled this with care, empathy and diligence. We always felt that anything that needed to be changed or upgraded, as it does throughout construction, the team remained fully focused and patient to achieve our dream goals. We as a group have created an incredible extension to our family home and are proud of the construction team and everyone involved.
Finding quality and reliable construction teams are a real challenge, this we overcame by finding you.
We must also give a special mention to Dean who dedicated himself to the build, nothing was ever too much hassle and project managers like Dean are an asset to the company. Thank you for all of your help and support.

I reviewed 7 companies for a loft conversion, and found Seb, SER and the team to be very knowledgable, professional and with good communication. Of course, pricing was also competitive!

When the work was underway, I found all the tradesman kind, diligent and respectful, (our favourite was Constantin). Marius and the team were accommodating to what we needed and left our home immaculate.

We had a small footprint to work with in London so it was a toss up for some time if we should move or extend - and the loft has made a massive difference.

The work was completed without a snag, and we now have a great dormer loft conversion for our growing family.

I am so pleased I went for my loft conversion with SimplyEasy Refurbs & ICS. They weren’t my first choice based on quote however while talking to them I understood they have professional team and are customer centrated. After few rounds of negotiations we agreed on scope, time and budget.
All the works started on time, all trades involved were highly professionals, doing the works with consideration of my needs. I was a bit nervous after reading on other people experience with other firms. However it went smooth. The rest of the house wasn’t impacted. They always covered all unimpacted areas, put carpet protectors, dust sheets etc.
Surprisingly for me, main work were completed ahead of the time just after 6 weeks. This of course happened because of brilliant work of project management team and fast feedback look. We had common WhatsApp group set up that eased communication.

Overall, very positive experience, on time, full scope and on budget. Definitely recommend if you think to do a bit of extension to your leaving space.

We are mega happy with simply easy refurbs, and I'll go into as to why. We had a 3 bedroom end of terrace house and they turned it into a 5 bedroom house thanks to a brilliant loft conversion. Sebastian was the first person from the company we met, he was friendly, professional and polite. Throughout the building process he was available to contact at any time and was helpful when needed, then we had the customer service team who would often call us every two weeks just to see how things were going. This was a nice touch and they too were available as and when needed. Then we come to the actual project and building work. Simply easy refurbs use a great team of builders who all seem very skilled at what they do, and within the building process from the start we were assigned a project manager and also added to a WhatsApp group which again made communication excellent. At the very end of the project we had some snagging issues which were dealt with perfectly too. The project was done in really good time without major delays and we have ended up with two lovely new bedrooms and a splendid shower room. We have now lived in our expanded home for about a year now and it is Brilliant and no issues relating to the loft conversion have come up at all. We will definitely use these guys again.

Simply Easy Refurbs (with Inspire Construction Solution) recently completed a full flat reconfiguration/renovation and loft conversion for us - we’re incredibly pleased with the outcome and very happy to recommend them.

We were a little worried going into the process as we had no previous experience with renovations or building works and could not find anyone able to recommend a builder they’d worked with before, but the good reviews with Simply Easy speak for themselves and we’re glad we chose to work with them.
