Glad I read this as have also received email from what looks like a legitimate Royal Mail address asking me for funds for delivery! Tracking reference doesn't work however!

Had a scam email.

Email apparently from Royal Mail to an email address I don't use for purchases saying delivery had been attempted ON A STRIKE DAY 😁

Don't get taken in.

I too have had the same scam email - twice in 2 days. The email address even has ‘royal Mail’ in its domain. Tried copying the tracking number as text that it talked about and pasting into the official Royal Mail site. It didn’t recognise the number. This can’t be good for business, and easy to mistake for the real thing. Have forwarded to Royal Mail scam and Govt scam addresses.

I just had a scam email from smart gift solutions, wanting payment for a delivery from Royal Mail.I work for Royal Mail and we are on strike today.So try again!!!

Scam email from royal mail stating i have a parcel from Smart Gift Solutions and i need to reschedule delivery and make payment> i have never bought from this site and i'm unsure whether the site is a scam or whether someone is using the smart gift solution site and royal mail to con people out of money but always check the sender of the email. I have forwarded mine to royal mail scam department so they can look into it. Also the sender of the so called was a range of letters and numbers. Also check first via the actual sites, never click on a link in an email if you are unsure.

Just received a scam email saying “your parcel couldn’t be delivered” so if you get an email like this do not click anything!!!

I too got a fake royal mail message saying my parcel from you couldn't be delivered even tho I haven't ordered anything. Just like so many others on this review page.

Sorry if this a genuine company but just got a fake royal mail message saying my parcel from you couldn't be delivered even tho I haven't ordered anything. After reading previous messages I blocked it and didn't click email.

WHO IS THIS COMPANY.. SENT ME A FAKE EMAIL. TO PAY FOR DELIVERY.... SILLY, I WORK FOR ROYAL MAIL AND WERE ALL ON STRIKE TODAY.. NO DELIVERIES... IGNORE THIS COMPANY AND ROYAL MAIL DONT CHARGE FOR REDELIVERY TO YOUR HOME.

Just received a scam email pretending to be from Royal Mail, it asks to rearrange a delivery from Smart Gifts solutions and pay for it! Who are they?!? The pretended RM website even asks for date of birth. Norton blocked it!

Scammers, fake email sent supposedly from Royal Mail requesting payment to rearrange delivery of a parcel from smart gift solutions. Never heard of them nor purchased from them!!

This has just happened to me. I thought it was a scam but it looks so genuine!!! I've just split up from my husband too so thought a friend was sending me something to cheer me up. The telephone number doesn't work though so that was alarm bells and the first review you so it comes up 4 stars!! My god they're getting smart 😡😡😡

I also got the scam email saying "Your parcel from Smart Gift Solutions couldn't be delivered on : 29 October, 2022. You need to make payment for your parcel to be delivered". I have never ordered from Smart Gift Solutions, so it's definitely a scam. Thanks loads to all the other reviewers for the warning!

Scam email supposedly from Royal Mail asking you to make a payment to get a parcel from them. Do not click on any links in the email. Forward the email to report @ phishing . gov . uk

I ordered at 15:30 on Thursday and paid for next day delivery so one would expect that to be Friday. You did not despatch until Friday and the item did not show up on parcel force website until Saturday where it is still showing as at the depot ready for delivery but not yet actually out for delivery. It will not be delivered Saturday or Sunday so I ordered before the cut off on Thursday, paid for next day delivery but didn’t receive until 4 days later. Do you see why as a customer that is problematic. If you cant deliver a service then why offer it? Your spiel on the website says you offer a ‘fast and reliable’ delivery service, it also states that ‘standard’ delivery orders will be despatched within 24 hrs but mine was not standard. It also states that working hours are Monday - Friday until 4:30pm so since i placed my order before that time and it was next day delivery then it should have been despatched same day so that it was delivered on the Friday which is the ‘next day’! This was my first time using your company and now is likely to be my last!

Had an email from RM. Didn't order from this company and so glad I check things out now with so many scammers around. Its a SCAM delete 🤬

Received a scam email from this company via “Royal Mail.” They’ve been reported to RM for scam email, and to the National Cyber Security Centre. I urge others who have experienced this to do the same.
