Smooth Moves Removals Avis 

The team led by 'Big Ron' with Emma, Reece and James did an outstanding job on a long-haul move. Thoroughly recommended.

Although smooth move staff are all very professional, pleasant & polite to deal with, make sure you read the contract small print. We have had our belongings in storage for with them for seven months due to the fact that we were in a chain to buy our next property. We were given a fixed quote for removals and storage, I explained at the time that we could be in between homes for anything up to a year, despite this when we were finally ready to get our belongings back I was told that there would be an increased charge due to the original quote expiring (after 6 months).

This has left a sour taste with us feeling that we have been scammed & this is a warning to other potential customs customers that you should be aware of them changing prices once they have all of your belongings.

Please make sure you read the contract small print to prevent this from happening to you. I will carry on posting this warning online to several other review sites in the hope that smooth move removals get in touch with me to refund the extra money that they charged me.

If they do decide to refund my money I will of course retract my negative review’s and post another report stating that they have decided to put this sorry situation right. I will be posting another negative review in 48 hours on another major review site should smooth move fail to rectify this, I will carry on doing this until they do.

Brilliant. So friendly and caring. They made moving a completely non-stressful experience. I was so emotional about leaving my old house but Emma totally put me at ease. Extremely quick and efficient service from all the men and Emma. All the boxes were placed in the correct rooms and they even cleaned up afterwards. Felt sorry for them as it was pouring down but they didn’t complain once. I would really recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of moving. They all made our move amazingly easy. Great company

Just had the first part of our move from Hockley, Essex. Arrived on time and the team got stuck in dismantling beds, tables and sofa’s. In and out in under 3 hours. Now off to their storage facility until the 2nd part of the move starts. They supplied all the packaging materials and when we ran out they dropped some the next day. Great service so far, keep up the good work. Ps can we have the same team for the 2nd part of our move please Dani 😁👍

Danny Emma and the boys were amazing and made the move very easy and painless.
They arrived on time dismantled my bed, loaded up the van without any problems at all, I would definitely use them again as they were all amazingly helpful

This is the second time I have used smooth move removals, they are the very best at what they do, they help with any left over packing, wrapped and secure anything that may fall open, fridges, etc, they wrap and protect TVs, they are quick and efficient, friendly, helpful and an overall excellent service. It is great to work with smoothe move, it wasn't difficult to to find our new home through smooth moves l love the home, it was really a smooth move.

Absolutely fantastic service from Smooth Moves removals, they took all the worry out of our move from Hockley to Tiptree. They arrived at our property 10 minutes early and before I could get the kettle on they had started putting our furniture in the van.Nothing was too much trouble for them , they were polite and professional all the way and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future.

I’ve used Smooth Move three times for two different households. During these moves everything went well. A first class service from the first phone call to the last. If I ever move again I’ll phone the team I trust!

We cannot recommend Smooth Moves enough we moved from Eastwood to Hampshire. The team arrived on time were extremely efficient nothing was too much trouble. They worked continuously until the job was
