Brilliant experience

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Caitlin at the Battersea location was incredibly helpful & patient. Our armchair & footstool were ready within about 2 months and the delivery process was smooth — great communication, on-time and the delivery team (Martyn & Jakob) were fantastic. We love our new armchair, thank you!

We love our new sofas

We love our new sofas! The service we received from start to end has been professional, not pushy or judgmental and we all felt we were able to make an informed decision. We received fabric samples promptly and upon returning to the shop in Henley were greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff. We also used the measuring service to ensure our sofas would fit . The delivery was in the timeframe given and so far we have been very happy with our sofas.

David and Shane have just delivered and fitted new seat cushions and footstool. Great guys. Arrived spot on time. Explained how to maintain cushions and how the stain guard guarantee works. Fantastic service.

Really disappointed with Sofas and Stuff

As a high end furniture retailer I expected exemplary service however from first visiting the Cheltenham store in January to finally receiving my new sofa yesterday, the experience has been extremely disappointing.
Staff in the Cheltenham store were poorly trained and unprofessional and not able to offer the “design experience” promised on the website. Mistakes were made during the order process leading to me being overcharged. I felt I could no longer have confidence in the Cheltenham Branch so went to the Stroud branch instead. My experience here was much more what I had expected so I placed my order and was told to expect delivery in mid March. When I had heard nothing by 24/3 I chased to be told there was a delay on my order so delivery wouldn’t take place until 8/4. Rather than simply put a bad review online, I took the time to write to the Director about my experience and requested a refund of my delivery charge as an apology. Instead I have just received a curt response with no apology or refund!
My sofa is lovely and the staff who delivered it were great but the service in the stores and from head office leaves much to be desired so I would not recommend shopping with this company.

Very helpful customer service from…

Very helpful customer service from showroom right through to despatch admin and delivery. Delighted with my two Rye sofas which are the ideal small size for my room but are big enough to lie down on full stretch! Sofas and stuff went the extra mile helping me choose fabric, being very understanding when my father died just as my sofas were to be delivered and delayed delivery for me for several weeks and when delivered Martyn and Jake were lovely too, even taking their shoes off at the front door. Can thoroughly recommend Sofas and Stuff.

Excellent …

In store team in Henley (Alicia) was extremely helpful, knowledgable and patient! Options were fully explained. Alicia and other Henley store colleagues were helpful and prompt in addressing telephone and email queries around the time of placing the order.

Lead time from order to delivery was quite long (2 months) but was completely in line with expectations and estimates we were given at the time of order. This timeline seems reasonable for a ‘built to order’ product.

Delivery worked out well. Delivery date was easy to book, good communication about delivery arrangements and a time-slot given the day before. Delivery team (Gary and Stuart) was great. They let us know when they were 30mins away and arrived within the communicated time-slot. Gary and Stuart were helpful, friendly and very respectful of our property and new sofa. They remained good humoured despite our access (narrow door and hall) not being the easiest!

Sofa was pricey but reflected in the quality, which is excellent. We are very happy with our new sofa and the service we received.

From the first time that I visited the…

From the first time that I visited the showroom at Frittleworth in Sussex, Suzanne could not have been more helpful. We had an excellent reception, and were given time to consider the options available to us over a coffee. Once we decided on the sofa that we wanted, Suzanne helped enormously in organising a visual to understand how it would look, and was on hand throughout the process until delivery. On the day of delivery, David and Shane were excellent and even with tricky access, ensured that the sofa got safely delivered to our room of choice. Once they had it up to the flat, they carefully unpacked and set the sofa up to showroom standard, explaining the care process. Even when there was a slight mistake on the cushions delivered, everyone was on hand to correct the issue in good time. I would highly recommend Sofas & Stuff to anyone looking for a high quality home furniture. We will be back for a bed soon!

An excellent company to deal with

From the moment we went to the store the service was exceptional. Kelly from the Bury St Edmunds store was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and was happy to spend time helping us to choose our furniture and fabrics. Delivery was today, exactly the time scale we were given. Communication from the team, David and Shane, was excellent and they arrived at the exact time promised. Shane and David positioned and unpacked the furniture with great care and consideration for our home. They were friendly and professional and a delight to work with. Thank you for a stressless time!! We are thrilled with our new sofa and chairs which are beautiful and of very high quality. Sofas and stuff Chelsea

We visited the Chelsea store and Bunny gave us a lot of time to browse and ask questions. She has a lot of knowledge and patience!
In spite of ordering endless swatches we managed to order a sofa that looked too dark in situ!
As it was custom made, we could only get a partial refund towards another choice, but I am pleased to say the replacement looks great and is of solid quality.
The delivery team (Gary,Stu,Davy) were very careful and gave a great tip on how to plump the cushions!
We had a great experience with Sofas and Stuff and we certainly would recommend them.
