Our Sovereign Expert, Romina, was extremely helpful in finding us the holiday we wanted, which was certainly not straight out of their computer. She was persistent in finding ways around various flight, hotels and technical hitches and invariably cheerful and positive.

We booked a holiday for June 20 this was cancelled and we booked for Sept this was cancelled and we have now re booked for June 21.The service from Sovereign through out these difficult times has been first class we had paid in full for the Sept holiday and we received our refund in less than two weeks.
Our new booking was made in the usual efficient manner that is why we have dealt with them for many years

Staff were so helpful and personable in sorting out our holiday, amends and cancellation. Very polite and real customer service. The second good experience with sovereign in as many holidays!

Good service from Linda...was happy to spend time sorting the right package, dates and checking on the best deal. Despite not having used or heard of Sovereign Holidays before was reassured they were a sister company of Hayes and Jarvis. Recommended

I will never consider using this company again. They insisted upon me honouring the T&C’s to the letter but then tried to change them arbitrarily for their benefit whenever they felt like it. They tried to profiteer from everyone’s misery by requoting a change of date to my holiday at 10% more than the original price for one less person when TUI were quoting the same for 10% less. When the holiday was finally cancelled, their communication was appalling including one email saying ‘congratulations, you are going on holiday’. They tried to wriggle out of the refund at every turn and claimed to be following ABTA’s guidelines by only pointing to the parts that protected them and not the areas that benefitted me. After much correspondence, they finally agreed to a refund an then finally delivered it - significantly later than they had originally committed to in writing. Meanwhile they seemed happy to take money from me if I booked something else so they had no problem taking cash but just not giving it back. They have lost any hope of my trust now and for the future. I appreciate times are difficult but some honesty and integrity goes a long way in customer service. I would though say that Lynn, as our agent, always tried her best to help and respond even though clearly she was constrained in what she could ultimately deliver.

Avoid this lot - took us months to get a refund. Threatened CEO with legal action in the end which did the trick - still took another 3 weeks to give us our money back though. Never will use them again.

Sovereign cancelled our May family holiday to Greece back on April 21st 2020. Refusing to refund any money until Jan 31st 2021 despite repeated requests to discuss constructively - this seems to be company policy applied to many of their frustrated customers. Would avoid and look for a holiday company that complies with consumer laws and regulations through refunding customers within 14 days or is willing to enter into a sensible dialogue

TJ and Lauren are the epitome of a perfect 1-2 punch. Lauren sells the dream and TJ exceeds it (sorry Lauren). Not only does sovereign make your dream a reality, they deliver on every promise with a genuine smile. Going over and beyond is standard practice. I wish I could give 6 stars but it wasn’t an option. Blessed to work with such a dynamic group!

really poor experience, issue with booking, weren't interested in trying to resolve something that was a fault in their system. Showed complete disregard for any customer service and clearly don't care, will never use again and wouldn't recommend, was once a good customer but never again!!

We had an issue with our resort transfer to our hotel and preempted an issue with the return journey. We contacted our trusted travel advisor twice using two methods but as of yet 3 days after our return we still await a reply. Had a major issue arisen I fear the lack of local or even distant support would have been an issue. As normal once a company has your money your on your own! Thought Sovereign were supposed to be the best but we were sorely disappointed.

I have always found Sovereign service very good. They are very professional and attentive. I feel confident that if any issues did arise the Company would deal with them efficiently . I have found any phone calls have been speedily returned.

I won't be travelling until Monday but my experience so far (ie the reservation process) has been first class with very good attention to detail. I will see the outcome when my wife and I get to the Cliff Bay Hotel on Monday and I look forward to reporting back in due course, the good and the bad (hopefully none of the latter),

I have booked with Sovereign in the past and found them good, tried to book a family holiday to the Algarve for June this year, website wouldn’t allow me to complete the booking and said there was a technical problem and to contact them by telephone, I called and went through what i was trying to book, I was told that the holiday was over £800 more, and they would not honour the web price as it was a fault on their system, couldn’t have cared less and offered no discount to try and resolve their issue, won’t be using sovereign again very disappointing and misleading!

Sovereign are our go to agent and in particular Helen Lippe has helped arrange several years of luxury summer holidays for us. The company have the inside knowledge, contacts and direct experience of all of the best resorts including those yet to open. They put in a huge amount of groundwork and research which has not let us down and given our big holidays are so infrequent getting it right is critical and they always deliver for us.

Fantastic service, highly recommend the company. My door was fitted a few years ago but this week the lock broke. The fitters were with me within 20 minutes, ordered a replacement and fitted a new mechanism. All the team were very helpful and polite.

Amazing service - called me back when they advised they would and even emailed me outside of opening hours to advise who would be dealing with my booking in their absence. Cannot recommend enough will definitely use again.

Hi, holly, the agent was great. Would have given 5 stars but one element of the hotel's description was misleading - mentioned football academy which is why we booked it, but only runs from July, but May when we arrive
