Sportsman Gun Centre Avis 

I called the Dorchester branch to see if they had a particular gun in stock, spoke to a gentleman called Rob, he told ne he had 2 of them in stock, so I made the 1 hour drive over. I wasn't disappointed, I met Rob and the rest of the staff, nothing was too much trouble, he was helpful, the other staff all had smiles on their faces and were friendly towards me, I don't write many reviews, but credit where credit is due, I was instantly blown away by the stock carried in the store, as well as the prices. As I said, the service from the staff was excellent. All questions were answered in a friendly professional manner. I would recommend in an instant this store.

Really nice staff, nothing seems too much trouble, only issue was i popped in for some pellets and spent about an hoir chating to staff and other customers, i tdnd to like smaller independant shops but on my first vist to sportsman in over 10 years i was very happy with the service and community spirit in the shop these days

My first visit to collect an order.I am a novice shooter but the guys there were really friendly and talked me through various ammunition choices and didn't try to sell me the most expensive ones there.

I recently purchased a second hand baretta from the sportsman gun centre Exeter. I delt with James who took me through what I was going to use it for, giving suggestions as to which would be the best for my budget. When I’d made a choice he then made sure it fitted correctly. Only when I was completely happy with it did we do the deal. All in all I can’t recommend them highly enough, a very professional and friendly service with very knowledgable staff.

I ordered a few items from sportsman, these items rolled well over the delivery date which was supposed to be 1-2 working days. They actually took 6, as you can imagine I was annoyed and frustrated, I contacted the info email address where I was very quickly and politely answered by a gentleman by the name of Simon Holwell. He was quickly reassued me and made me feel at ease and was very apologetic. He couldn't help enough and his responses were second to none, unfortunately though when my delivery did arrive i had been sent a wrong item. Ofcourse I was again disgruntled, Mr holwell was right there again though, apologising and actually sent me the correct item out as we spoke via email. He did not charge me and told me not to worry about going through the hassle of sending back the wrong item. It's people like Simon that restore my faith in humanity and that there are still honest hard working decent people left in this very troubled world. I have the utmost respect for Simon and after the way he treated me despite my unfortunate circumstances with sportsman, would definitely order Again from them knowing Simon is there assuring even more so than before that myself and nobody else will recieve a poor service while he is there.

I have used this company for many years. I bought my first SAKO from them. The service never changes over the years. It's always par excellence. You will rarely be disappointed in Stock availability. Latest order no 23061601990009 was a Primary Arms scope. Quite hard to find in other UK outlets. I have bought nightforce scopes to cleaning rods and they are delivered quickly and postage is reasonable. I am always impressed how quickly they can do a stock control check for you.
