I purchased a bunch of hunting apparel (for Christmas gifts) and some fishing gear from Sportsman's Guide and was impressed with the speed of delivery to my house in Florida. Quality was great and the discounts better! Nice not having to pay full price (I joined the Buyers club also).

Fast Shipping, High Quality - 4 Fenix headlamps for Sailing

I ordered 4 Fenix headlamps for my sailboat, and they arrived quickly and are of the highest quality. I looked around at a lot of different vendors, and they had the BEST products. They were well protected when they were shipped, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything arrived. The redlight function helps us safely sail at night! Thank you!

Items wrong, used, incorrect, etc

Everything I ordered did arrive quickly. However, one item (Royal Mail jacket, not indicated as used) was used and dirty, and even had a filled out Royal Mail delivery attempt ticket and some nut shells in the pockets. Another was a pair of pants that was the wrong color and the third was (supposed to be) a pair of used .50 cal ammo cans was instead a 5.56 ammo can and a flare can.

Absolutely will not use this company again unless word gets around that they've improved.

Lack of assistance.

I came to SG for assistance, with what I think is some bogus charges, on my credit card statement. No assistance; bogus charges came from SG, but SG acted like it wasn't their issue.

The communication was not good

The communication was not good. They took my order but then didn't hear anything until I sent a email to find out why it had not shipped 4 days latter. they said it was in possess and would ship soon. Two days latter it shipped but the web page when I tried to track it said that the number was incorrect but you didn't give the number to me so I could track it through FEDEX. Also one of the items was cancelled and didn't find that out until the order was shipped. That was the main item I was looking forward to receiving. You need to be better at letting the customers what is going on so they don't go though what I did. Thanks, Brian

Excellent service for order support

I ordered three fuel cans and received one within a few days. Ordering was easy, the price was good, and the can arrived in good condition. When the other two failed to arrive and I received no indication that they had shipped, customer service was very efficient at responding to my inquiry and offered to reship the two that didn't arrive. The issue was annoying but the company was very helpful at correcting the error.

Bought a wood burning stove

Bought a wood burning stove, the handle broke the first day and all of the stripping around the door fell off. Wood doesn't stay burning good because the door won't shut all the way due to the handle and stripping gone. Smoke goes everywhere. Lost everything in our greenhouse and now need to buy a new stove. Very disappointed.

The website canceled a back ordered…

The website canceled a back ordered item on its own. When I contacted customer service to tell them the error on their part they said I had to back in and re-order. They should have been able to just take care of their problem.

Good gear at decent prices, terrible fulfillment/customer service

Good gear at decent prices. Lots of good sales. The products are all decent quality for the price. Thats where the good ends.

The fulfillment process has really fallen off as of late. I currently have an order that is 2 weeks old that hasn't shipped, an order i placed after that one has already arrived, makes zero sense. Sometimes your order will ship within a day or two other times it can take literally weeks before it ships out. Kind of hard to plan when it can take anywhere between 3 days and a month to recieve your order. Do NOT ever order ammo, the last 3 shipments of ammo I ordered was so terribly packed the boxes all broke open with hundreds of rounds rolling around in the big shipping box. Customer service is useless and feeds you a line of whatever you want to hear but clearly has no say so on how the warehouse operates (or doesn't operate).If they can get their warehouse workers back in line this is for sure a 5 star company.

I tried to use the promotion coupon…

I tried to use the promotion coupon offered on 3/22/2026. For $50.00 off a $250.00 a order.
When I contacted customer service. They said it cant be used with club offers.
Why do you have promotions for club members, if the club members cant use the promotion. When you do the math, a person pays less if they aren't a member, when the promotion is applied.
This is not right. Its not worth being a member. If this is the way you are going to treat members, I will not renew my membership, nor will I buy another thing from Sportsman Guide.
