Unzuverlässiger Verlag, schlechter Service

Habe 2 Geschenabos geschlossen. Beim ersten (Printausgabe Deutsch perfekt) wurde die Belieferung erst nach der 2. Erinnerung aufgenommen, beim zweiten (Audiotrainer Deutsch perfekt) passierte erst gar nichts, nach der 2. Erinnerung bekam nicht der Beschenkte, sondern ich den Trainer; nach erneuter Erinnerung kam die telefonische Auskunft, man sehe das Problem, aber es werde so 2 Wochen (!) dauern, bis man abhelfen und den Beschenkten beliefern könne. Unterirdisch! Aber nach den anderen Bewertungen hier wundere ich mich nicht mehr.

Following an advertisement, I wanted to order a test number. When I got to the payment page, I realized that it was actually a very expensive subscription. So I backed off. But Spotlight Verlag has captured my postal address to send me magazines he asks me to pay for because I have not cancelled my subscription. You might as well ask someone to bring back to your shop an item that they did not buy.
This way of acting is unacceptable, Spotlight Verlag mocks the laws. It is up to him to assume his responsibilities and stop subscribing visitors to his site against their will.

A company sustained by an intimidating business model!
They send you an email offering a free copy of Deutsche Perfekt. In no place it says that I will order anything or even show the price. Even when opening the terms links.
You receive the magazine, then some time later you receive another followed with the bill for the subscription you never signed and you've never been provided with a price before.
After complaining, they will send you another bill asking to pay for the one you received.
In the end you pay it just to get rid of them.
The magazine is good and I would sign for it, but their business model made me sure I will never try it again.

They trap you with a first issue for free. Why don't they ask for the payment in the first place? Why is the subscription for so many magazines?

Werben mit Probeabo, das rechtzeitig gekündigt werden muss, ansonsten geht es in ein Abo mit über 130,— Jahresbeitrag über. Auf Kündigung per Email wurde nicht geantwortet, per Telefon war der Verlag auch nicht zu erreichen. Zudem ist die Zeitschrift z.T. fehlerhaft und das Online Angebot war nicht frei geschaltet. Teures Lehrgeld!!

Absolut Schlecht.
Habe ein Exemplar von einem Zeitschrift downloaded, und dann kann ein Jahres Beitrag Rechnung, ohne vorherige bekkantgeben von einem Subscription.
Unhöfliche und unmögliche Telefon Helpline Gespräch.

I had unknowingly subscribed for the free trial period. Somehow they started paid subscription and Now asking me to pay debts 67,30 euros. Threatening me to to pay debt otherwise debt collection company might take action against me. Sad !

Ich habe kostenloses Abo bestellt und bekomme rechnung ... Warum ??

Leider kein Geld nach Kündigung zurückbekommen...

I've recently had a pretty horrible experience with this company. Without my realising it, a (well-meaning) friend of mine signed me up for a free copy of Business Spotlight. This duly arrived at my house, and I trashed it without reading it, as I assumed it was spam. However, it turns out that the company turns your 'free copy' into an annual subscription unless you actively reply to letter that comes with the magazine.

This turned into a series of letters demanding money, which I assumed was some sort of scam (as I'd never knowingly signed up for any magazine). Finally I emailed to ask them about it, and to ask how they got my contact details, and they wouldn't tell me how I was signed up, but 'cancelled' my subscription, and sent me a new bill for the magazines that I've already received.

To cut a long story short, I've ended up paying 30CHF for a magazine that I never signed up for, or even wanted, and I only found out how it happened by asking around my friends.

I find it ridiculous that a company can operate on a basis where something like this can happen. I could just go around signing people I dislike up to the company, and as far as I can tell, they'd all be getting letters demanding money within a few months, with no easy way to get out of it, and no way to trace it back to me. At least ask for a credit card to make sure the person who's signed up actually wants the thing.

- Auf eine Kündigung 1! Tag nach Erhalt der ersten Ausgabe wird trotzdem noch eine zweite Ausgabe verschickt. Laut Gesetz und AGB hätte eine Kündigung innerhalb der ersten 14 Tage ausreichen müssen.
- Auf eine Rechnung mit zusätzlichen Posten von denen vorher keine Rede war folgen teure Mahnungen.

Alles in allem verhält sich dieser Verlag nicht Rechtskonform, weiß aber wohl dass sich wegen 12,89€ niemand die Mühe macht zu klagen.

Abzocke! ..sehr unseriöse Vorgehensweise. Aus der Gratis Probe ein über 100€ teuer Spaß! Für mich als Lehrling der Horror..

Habe ein Testabo bestellt und die eMail überlesen, aus dem mir bei nicht Reaktion ein Abo-Vertrag entstand.
Die eMail ist im Spam-Ordner gelandet und danach wurde ich mit Mahnungen bombardiert.
Finde diese Vorgehensweise unseriös und als reine abzocke - -Finger weg!

Mein Abo besteht seit Dezember. Seitdem habe ich kein einziges Monatsheft erhalten. Das Geschäftsgebaren hat also nichts mit Corona zu tun. Auf Emails antwortet das Unternehmen nicht. Man bekommt nur eine automatische Empfangsbestätigung. Danach hört man nichts mehr. Lächerlich!

Ganz miese Verkaufspraktiken, Abzocke pure.

I saw an ad for a free issue of Deutsch Perfekt on Instagram and applied for that. I got the magazine in two weeks. But today I got the next issue along with a bill for 55 euros!! So I contacted them. They explained that they had already sent me an email stipulating that in case I don't contact them in 10 days they will automatically activate my subscription. Which was true. I had already gotten an email, and in my inbox NOT SPAM but I had not bothered to open it. Anyway they canceled my subscription and I had to pay only 7,90 for the one magazine I had already received. what I find amazing is that, contrary to many reviews here on Trustpilot, the customer service was really efficient, helpful and well-behaved. they solved my problem( well, I know they had partly created it) within a few hours.

Unseriös. Ändert einfach die Vertrags-Vereinbarung. Abzocke !

Ich bin jahrelanger Abonnent der Zeitschrift Ecos.
Nun erhalte ich vor 2 Monaten eine 2. Mahnung für die Rechnung. Die Rechnung selber habe ich nie erhalten noch die 1. Mahnung. Auf meine Mails wird überhaupt nicht geantwortet. Man erhält ein automatisches Mail von DPV, dass man sich meldet.
Jedoch habe ich auf meine Mails NIE eine Stellungnahme erhalten.
Dieser Verlag sollte man meiden.

Hatte 1-2 Zeitungen,in englisch,bekommen und nichts weiter gedacht,gemacht!Bin des Englischen kaum mächtig,vor 50 Jahren in der Schule gelernt.Auch nie gebraucht!
Jetzt Email gelesen,weil gleicher Name und ganz fett Mahnung draufstand!Die wollen jetzt 100 Euro nochwas von mir und ich frage mich ,warum?Hatte jetzt grad im Internet was gelesen,von wegen Gutscheine. Aber ich bestätige Gutscheine nie,finde da nichts vernünftiges,ausser alle Nase lang,mal eine Woche die Tageszeitung.Und bestimmt nicht eine Zeiung,die ich nicht mal lesen kann.Werde jetzt per Einschreiben,Emails,Vertrag ec. einfordern!Übrigens die Anwälte vom Verbraucherschutz sind telefonisch und online da,falls man wieder mal so etwas braucht.
Ich finde solche Methoden unter aller Kanone und werde mir das nicht gefallen lassen.
