Highly recommend the DAC track
Springboard's bootcamp services are the career counseling support you wish you had in undergrad and never got!
There are numerous touch points:
--Student Support person
--Dedicated Mentor who guides you through the program
--Office hours
--Great Slack network
--Mentor on Demand - multiple people
--Career Counseling
--Several mock interviews both technical and behavioral
You get a lot of exposure, guidance, and help for troubleshooting.
I took the online self-paced full time version. I happened to get a job within the first 8 weeks of the program and took a 4 month pause to onboard to that role and then complete the rest of the bootcamp for the final two months. Everyone was very supportive, patient, and really helped with managing stress, burnout, and motivation.
It's really nice to be learning the material in a safe, supportive environment and know that everyone is interested and vested in your success.
The curriculum is comprehensive and the resources shared are amazing. Before enrolling in Springboard's program, I tried to create my own bootcamp but it turns out that it is very difficult to find appropriate data when you yourself are outside of a business context (meaning, a lot of data is proprietary). I learned a little bit on my own but the structure and progression of the program is really worth the price tag. It really is an investment and opens your world up to a lot of great networking opportunities and practice.
For Tooling, the curriculum follows Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python. You complete case studies and projects using these tools.
Remember that it's the business problem that's driving the tool usage and not the other way around. Be agnostic to tools and solutions, but it's really about the business problem you're solving for.
There is also the core skills associated with data analytics and that's the financial perspective, the economic perspective, and the statistical perspective, all underpinned by strategic frameworks. Springboard is like a compressed MBA in this way and jumpstarts your business understanding if you don't already have it.
Remember that the bootcamp is creating a strong foundation for you on which to build your data skills. You cannot become a subject matter expert in a matter of months, it does take years, so understanding that is really key as you make a career change.
UX/UI Career Track
I just finished the UX/UI Career Track by Springboard and I am finally starting the most exciting part: job hunt! So far, I have felt great support from Springboard. I had my personal mentor, student advisor and career coach throughout the process. We had a Slack channel for the students in our cohort and it was very good to have an easy access to a UX community that is ready to help whenever needed! Apart from having finished a very dense, flexible and dynamic curriculum which presents lots of hands on UX practices; I prepared 4 UX projects, created my portfolio, wrote my first UX resume and adjusted my Linkedin profile!
Springboard program had prepared me both academically and professionally! I am looking forward to the next phase!
Springboard-Waste of Money
Don't waste your money with Springboard. Nobody knows about Springboard. If you want a certificate in Data Science , join the other well known boot camps.
It's too much money with Springboard. They do not have expertise, they outsource everything
This whole debacle began in 2020
This whole debacle began in 2020, when I was trying to find a job in the IT field and a way to improve my skills to become a data scientist. I received an e-mail advertisement from Springboard, which they guaranteed that if I took their course in data science that I could find a job after 6 months of completing their online course. I took them up on their offer, which costs $12,000, most of which comes in the form of a Income Share Agreement (ISA), which includes a loan agreement of $11,300. In May, 2020, I sent them a deposit of $700, which I considered an investment. I started their course on May 26, 2020, thinking that the course would be original material they had curated themselves. I was disappointed when most of the material they had came from a website called Datacamp, which offers the same material they had for 1/30 of the price. I persevered and finished their course in March, 2021. My job search began on March 9, 2021. Because of the pandemic, they extended their "guarantee" to one year, meaning that I would have to do an extensive job search for one year before I would eligible for a refund, which is not what they advertised on their website. They assigned me a career coach, who lives in Canada, to aid me in my job search. The help I received from her was very little and when I began to question her credentials or even her techniques, she would get very upset. When they extended their "guarantee",, they did not give me the option to opt-out or even listen to my input on the matter. After 4 months of searching for a job with no success (not even an interview), I suffered a near mental breakdown because of the unsuccessful search. During my search, I was to report to them every week that I had applied to 4 jobs and made contact with 7 people on LinkedIn, which I did faithfully.. Everything came to a head on August 7, 2021, when they changed their policy again, without my consent or my input, when I was required to report 2 informational interviews a month, something that was not enforced in the original agreement for the previous 4 months, which they said was because they didn't add it to their website then, which is an outright lie. When I complained to Ms Saccuzzo about this matter, I was treated with extreme disrespect and rudeness. In addition, the career coach abandoned me for no reason, which was very unprofessional. I filed a complaint with my state's Attorney General's office on August 16, 2021, which is still being reviewed because Springboard has refused to answer to requests for information from the State of Arkansas. Six months has passed since I completed my course, and I still do not have a job in data science, like they have advertised on their website. I am demanding a full refund of my money and dissolution of any and all contracts with Springboard. This company has a "F" rating with the BBB and they need to be put out of business.

Wasted potential and bad management
I've been mentoring for practically a year and haven't seen any meaningful change to improve the conditions for students or mentors.
I've never been directly solicited for feedback from Springboard, and I'm sure anyone who does gets it put straight into the shredder.
Now deciding to cut pay for mentors because they'll let anyone into the program to learn and some students don't complete the program faster than others.

Excellent Experience
Excellent Experience, Intensive course!
Complete course: It covers the fundamentals of Data wrangling (cleaning), exploratory analysis, statistical inferences, machine learning models, model performance evaluation and more. Of course, there is always a chance to go deeper into some of these topics. Your mentor is always there to answer your questions and help you with any doubt.
Support and community: It is mandatory to have one call with your mentor per week. Still, it is possible to schedule more calls in case you need it. Moreover, there are office hours, and blogs where you can get in communication with your classmates and discuss ideas, ask questions, and have fun! Student support team is also always present for you when you need to take a break or have any questions about the course.
Practical approach: During the course you have to watch different videos, read books, and articles but also, you need to practice your skills in several excercises and capstone projects that simulate real life situations.
Intensive course: Be sure to have the time to fulfill all the course requirements.
The Best Online BootCamp
Springboard is by so far the best online bootcamp I have ever seen with real life projects that helped me explore more and expand my knowledge. The way the curriculum is designed is well outlined with adequate learning materials. The one to one mentor that we are assigned and the unlimited mentor calls that are accessible 24/7 made my learning process so much interesting and easy. Last but not least the students advisors and Career Coaches are as amazing as the rest of SpringBoard teams.
The mentors are highly qualified and were able to guide me in the right direction. I had no experience with data analytics but SpringBoard is an eye opener for me. The Slack community channel is another engaging platform for experience sharing and meeting students. I have just finished my course with fully equipped knowledge and more confidence than ever to apply for jobs. I highly recommend SpringBoard for anyone that wants to make a career change.
I had a great experience with Springboard
I had a great experience in the Data Analytics course with Springboard. The curriculum is well planned and you learn a wide variety of skills. I also enjoyed meeting with a mentor each week to be able to ask questions when I was stuck or uncertain. For my Capstone project, I was able to use both Python and Tableau for the analysis which was exciting as I had been completely unfamiliar with both of these tools before starting this course. Now that I have finished, I feel I have developed a new skillset that can take me to the next level with my current employer.
100% Recommend Springboard UI/UX bootcamp
I had a fantastic experience with Springboard. I found the curriculum easy to follow, and it was a nice mix of didactic information, expert editorials and videos from a broad variety of sources. I started with no experience using design software and am now very confident in my skills (Figma's my favorite tool). The capstone projects, modified Google Ventures Design Sprint and Industry Placement Project provide you with an excellent foundation for writing the case studies that you will use in your first portfolio. I found the 1:1 weekly mentorship invaluable. You have an expert there to back you up, answer questions, and keep you on track. As a bonus, every single time I needed to reach out to the staff for one reason or another, the team was so helpful and quick to respond. If you want to work at your own pace and feel ready to hit the job market at the end of your bootcamp, I'd absolutely recommend Sprinboard's UI/UX Bootcamp.
Doing a Springboard's UI/UX design…
Doing a Springboard's UI/UX design program happens to be genuinely life-changing. The skills I've learned, especially design and career skills, are priceless. Now that I am working as a UX Intern in a real firm, I feel very well prepared for the tasks associated with my job to deliver professional work.
I was fascinated by how well designed Springboard's curriculum. I learned the UI and UX design concepts within a nine-month course, covering user research, design exemplars, and applications.
I can say that having done this course was cost and time-effective for me. I'm glad I decided on Springboard over a master's program.
In addition to this, I enjoyed that Springboard is self-paced, and the staff is very accomodating. They allowed breaks in case you have family emergencies or health issues.
Challenging, worth the investment
The program was great. You learn everything you need to know to do most jobs within the UX field (UI too, if you want that track). There's plenty of support when it comes to coursework, career services, and ways to build community/your own network. The only problem is that lots of real-world work is done within teams, and there is space in the curriculum to make one of the projects a group project (2-3 people). Doing all of the work yourself teaches you how to do it and how much time it may take to do these parts. To finish the course on time is a bit difficult because of how in-depth it is. It really is a bootcamp, and it takes consistency and continuous learning, even outside the coursework. Definitely worth the investment.
Springboard Data Science Track - an excellent decision!
There's so much to be said about how Springboard does an amazing job with the Data Science Career Track!
1)The curriculum is so thoughtfully and expertly designed.
It manages to cover a wide range of topics, but in a manner that flows naturally both in terms of progressive difficulty and logical continuity. This to me, is so important for sustaining motivation to complete the program.
2)It is highly hands-on and project oriented.
This is a good thing, always a good thing, and Springboard recognizes that. Almost every unit has at least one mini-project to explore the content covered in that unit within an implementation context. You also need to complete two Capstone projects of your choice in any areas of your interest as part of the curriculum, and these projects are great for your Github or your resume. Clearly, Springboard appreciates that project-oriented learning is essential to drive certain concepts home and again, sustain motivation by seeing the fruits of your labor.
3)The quality of the resources.
Data Science experts on the Springboard Team have put in efforts to create high quality resources - both technical and career-oriented. These are usually well-drafted informational documents or videos. They also handpick a good selection of public articles/videos (and even one wonderful book) to supplement your learning, and their partnership with DataCamp (shoutout!) gives you access to a rich library of also high quality content.
4)Flexibility
Look, Springboard gets that life happens, and they've got your back. There is an option to take a 2-3 week pause from the course ANYTIME to perhaps catch up on other responsibilities or to maybe just *recharge*. Also, they offer a free 2 month extension to finish the program if you don't finish within the original 6 months, which can also turn out to be quite a blessing. I'm a full-time CS student at UCLA, so when I ran into a difficult quarter, I could still manage because of their flexible options.
5)Community
You're assigned a Student Advisor and Mentor as part of the program, and in my experience, they were both wonderful. The Student Advisor regularly checks in on you if you need help making goals, being productive, planning a schedule, tackling burnout, and more! They really help keep you afloat during your journey. You meet with your mentor on a weekly basis so they can guide you with projects and difficult material, or tell you more about the industry and their type of work, which is always interesting to hear! My mentor was super helpful with his feedback on my projects and helped me shape them into something I was proud of.
I should also mention that support on their Slack is pretty good too for Q/A related things, their customer support team is extremely friendly and helpful, and their cohort of career coaches is also excellent, so be sure to make regular appointments with them because they give extremely valuable and insightful advice about the industry and building the professional profile you want for yourself.
All-in-all, a great program designed by a talented team of industry professionals. The amount of knowledge and learning you get out of the program is priceless (and you get lifetime access to the curriculum!). If you've got the time and you want to, as they call it, "future-proof" your career, I highly recommend their program :)
Great Program to receive the skills and experience you need to start your career!
This program was a great fit for me. Coming from a career background of education and music, breaking into the developer world was daunting. Through the mentorship, curriculum and job support components of Springboard I was able to learn the skills and experience to forge a path towards a career in web development while maintaining a full time job. Now, this was not easy and presented some challenges when it comes to balancing a demanding full time job with Springboard's innovative and rigorous curriculum. However, my mentor was awesome in helping me through the highs and lows while giving first hand professional expertise. If you are serious about a career change into the coding/ tech world and are looking for a program that will match and support your desire to learn and progress to a career in software engineering then this is the program for you!
Can't recommend prep course
Had emergency, tried to get a makeup session for feedback of only project. Advising and mentor ghosted me told me work would get handed back at next session. No responses. Then I finished curriculum which was disorganized and haphazard, I didn't learn much at all. You can find this information other places for free even presented more logically (ironic). I got a refund thankfully.
They're just a bunch of fraudsters…
They're just a bunch of fraudsters…
They're just a bunch of fraudsters looking to setup their scam in india & to some extent have been successful in doing that. BUT sooner or later this springboard bubble is going to get burst.
The thing is how much of us gets their time & money wasted till the time springboard lasts.
Hope it ends sooner & people realize the truth behind their FAKE job guarantee & refund policy.
I along with several others have been fighting springboard since last summer & now they don't even bother to reply back & have blocked our mails.
You or anyone can't do anything to them after you've paid them because they've power, people & money all along with them.

Springboard is one of the worst…
Job Guarantee, What's That?
Springboard is one of the worst schools. It is not a job guarantee, as they claim. You have to find your job and do these contact activities on your own. I have received so many threatening emails: (" Normally, at this point, I would need to remove your Job Guarantee eligibility since you haven't been on consistent coaching calls. At this point, you must understand that if you continue to miss your required Career Coaching call, your program eligibility will be under review"). Is it my fault that you keep changing me, coaches? or is it my fault that you fail to schedule my biweekly meetings? If you were not too busy sending me threatening emails, you would have known that I have not missed any of these coaches' meetings. These career coaches' meetings are so important (like sign up for lunchclub.com/) that they will Jeopardize my job guarantee with a school that leaves thousands of its students jobless and frustrated.
Springboard, it is time to upgrade your system. Find a better strategy to help your students. I can not wait to sue You.

Do Not Go Here! WASTE of your money, total SCAM job
I enrolled in this program thinking it would be a great opportunity. I was in the Data Analytics program, and let me tell you, all they do is give you 10 minutes of introductory videos, then they send you off to websites like datacamp, youtube, and other free sites. What a utter waste of money. Then they throw assignments you expecting you to finish them after watching your youtube videos. You get a weekly mentor that you can maybe have enough time to discuss 1 or 2 problems, other than that you're pretty much on your own. On top of that, I actually encountered an EVIL UNPROFESSIONAL worker there. Her name is Maggie Zhang. I was on work leave due to the whole COVID situation and didn't have time to do the curriculum (this was last year around May 2020) and I get an email from Maggie.
"Hi DN,
I'm following-up with you from my earlier email inquiring about your progress in your Springboard course. I'd love to discuss the course with you, and see if there's any way I can be of help or support. We do have some options that may make sense to discuss going forward.
If we don't hear from you within the next 3 business days, we'll go ahead and cancel your course enrollment. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with!
-Maggie Zheng"
WOW so this is what you get from Springboard. If the email goes to junk mail and you don't respond to her within 3 days you are out of luck and out $10,000 tuition. VERY VERY unprofessional and awful person. Before this e-mail, I literally submitted an assignment 4 days prior. She had the nerve to email me to question my attendance even after I submitted the assignment. This lady is nuts, just threatening students and then sending emails with a passive aggressive "let me know if u have any questions I can help with!" Yeah you can help me if you look in the mirror and see what kind of awful demon you are. Usually I only encounter this type of disrespect when I suspect racism is at play. Who knows?
The company of course sides with her, perhaps showing their support for possible RACISM!
After being treated like sanitary wipes, I decide not to continue with them anymore. Now I'm stuck with a $4,000 bill thanks to springboard. At least I'm in a real school now and they are actually teaching me stuff instead of redirecting me to datacamp. The least I can do is protect and inform those who come after me to prevent these con-artists from stealing more money from people who can easily learn more from youtube videos. You can definitely learn everything you need if you have the right template. Goto a different coding school.
DO NOT GO TO SPRINGBOARD, full of evil people like Maggie Zheng.
EDIT: Springboard and their advisors were nice at least. Anyways if you wipe out my 4k ill take down this review. LMK!
