Halal produce, no thanks

All the meat used is with animals being killed using barbaric non stun slaughter methods. That means they take up to 10 minutes for the animal to lose consciousness and die. The abattoirs are too impatient to wait and start hacking them apart when they can feel everything. It has no place in Britain!
Full stun before slaughter, for of all our animals, they do not deserve to be tortured in their final hours.

Visited London recently and was so looking forward to trying until I heard fully Halal. Never will I go back. Deeply disappointing.

I will not buy into any form of animal abuse. They source their meat from halal butchers! Disgusting!!

Overhyped is an understatement conned more like. Spud Bros marketing had me thinking I was about to experience the Michelin-star of potatoes. Instead, I paid £20 for two jackets with a teaspoon of splat topping and not even a drink to wash down the disappointment!

Yes, the box is nice. Very nice. Premium, even. But where exactly am I supposed to eat this masterpiece? There’s no seating, so I’m sat in my car, balancing a wobbly potato on my lap like I’m performing some kind of starchy circus act. One wrong move and I’m wearing the topping.

Honestly, it felt like someone opened a Subway, fired all the staff, removed the bread, and said “yeah, this’ll do”. The potatoes were fine, but £10 each? For that price I expected at least a potato that could sing, dance, or offer life advice. No such luck. Good luck getting repeat customers at those prices I won’t be one of them.

Thought i'd try this out seing all the hype, went for cheese and chilli, they put the stingiest amount of cheese and chilli on, the laddle was the size of a spoon, asked for a bit more as there was nothing on it. Tried to charge me £16 for it and said they have to double the price if people want more than they put on 🤣

I am disgusted to learn that I have eaten halal meat I had no idea. How you could promote killing animals that way and not even make it clear. It doesn’t feel right I thought I was eating normal meat done in the humane way. I’ll never come again
