I had to use the service due to my GP cancelling 2 appointments in a row and I couldn't wait for them to reschedule.
I got appointments same day with Aviva and spoke to the same GP twice a few weeks apart about the same issue, and the GP was lovely, listened to me and very helpful. Would definitely recommend the service.

It was not my first time as a patient going through an online session, but I was impressed by the care and attention I received. My doctor was very thorough and impressed me with the deep knowledge of my issues. The matter was solved in a few days all thanks to the doctor attention to my symptoms.

I’ve used the online GP service several times without any problems. My issues were all straightforward muscular-skeletal and easily diagnosable. However, the doctors were all capable and easy to understand.

Easy to use, online consultation was easy to book and friendly

I did not know what to expect from an online physiotherapy session. The access was via an app and the consultant was selected by reading their biography and availability. Access and service was as communicated and the consultant was attentive, professional and very knowledgeable. Exercises were set through a further app and this app is easy to use. I am so glad I have access to this service.

My experience has been great. The PT has been very helpful, I go to gym feeling great knowing what I am working on. I spoke to councillor with my mental health, and I was surprised how helpful she was. She listened and said things that made me think in why I was feeling low. I have had a great experience using this company.

Doctor I spoke to was nice enough. She said that she would refer me to a specialist after our consultation in mid-November. I left the private health insurance at the end of Jan but at that point there wasn't any sign of having a consultation with a specialist.
In January I went to see my NHS GP about the same thing and they'd arranged for me to have a scan within the same week so obviously they treated my condition with more urgency.
Really disappointed given this was a service I was paying for and the NHS did a far better job for free!

I asked the doctor what I needed to do next after my consultation and she said she'd do a referral and submit it to Aviva for approval.
I reread the copy of this letter and covering message and in no way was it made clear to me that I needed to take any action to progress my referral.
If this is the process, then doctors need to be able to advise patients accordingly.

A waste of time and money. Haven’t received a good service at all. Promises not fulfilled, consultant appointments very limited and rushed and came away nor the wiser.

There was a long wait for booked appointment. Was given private prescription for eye ointment but when I went to pharmacy was told it wasn't needed as cheaper to buy without one.

With regards to GP appointments I have always had a very positive experience. Sometimes I have noticed that it takes longer to get an appointment, but this has improved again recently and I can usually get a next day appt. I have always found the GPs very helpful and thorough. There are some I prefer but that’s always the way with Drs you see. GPs are happy to give you referrals for what you need or feel you’d like to get investigated. I can’t comment on any hidden costs as my healthcare is paid for by work and I have a yearly limit that covers most everyday investigations. But this is a paid private service and additional tests, investigations etc will cost further. Great if you want quick access to a services like blood tests or ECGs which are reasonably priced. Can be very costly for eg imaging, surgery or long-term consultation. The app can be a big buggy with the login and could be more user friendly, but I find it generally reliable and easy to use.

Very good service. Booked from my phone with a few clips. Doctor was very professional and explained everything in great detail.

Blood kit arrived quickly with easily understandable instructions and it was very easy and quick to make a video appointment with a doctor afterwards to discuss the results. My only problem was trying to get enough blood to fill the necessary tubes. A pinprick on the finger was definitely not adequate and in the end I had to make a small cut with a sharp blade!

Used the nutritionist on the app as i was struggling to lose weight. I explained that I have ASD, ADHD and also cannot walk 10k steps a day without pain in my knees and hips.
I got told to eat 1600 calories a day and walk 6000 steps but 2 months later, no weight had been lost (or gained). I have simply been told since that I shouldn't cut more calories but i just need to walk more (which i can't. Currently on 6000-7000 steps daily, and do yoga 3 times a week).
I also asked for no prepare-ahead meal ideas due to the ASD/ADHD as those can be overwhelming. I just needed simple yet healthy. All i got sent were leaflets where you had to prepare ahead or there were 10+ ingredients that take a lot of preperation. I haven't used any of the recipes.

I stopped going to the nutritionist. I also found my BMR is 1360 calories which meant 1600 is my maintenance. I have since cut down to 1400 and finally losing weight.
Really disappointed as I thought a nutritionist would help to meet you where you are and help you adjust, not set a standard that would cause me pain or help me with neuro-friendly suggestions. It made me feel absolutely crap about myself.

After trying to get a gp appointment for over a month with my local doctors, I was shocked how quick I could have an online appointment- the next day. The doctor I spoke to was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised with my interaction with the out of hours GP service. I had a prescription ready to collect within one hour of my original call made to 111. Very professional and prompt service and I have honestly nothing negative to say. Overall very happy with the service.

Quick to get video appt but Dr gave incorrect diagnosis and issued prescription which cost £8 and would have been taken for shingles which I didn’t have thereby risking unnecessary side effects and medication I didn’t need.
No in depth looking into it, just took one look and prescribed. Unlikely to use again on present encounter.
Email today 23/2/26 asking for review , appt was 5/11/25. Very odd.

I had a back injury that hadn’t cleared in a while so used the service. Got an appointment with the physio the next day. Physio was easy to talk with and recommended a series of exercises for the next few weeks that sorted the problem. Both the physio and the app that guides you through the exercises were great.

The app was easy to use and there were plenty of appointments offered. The doctor I spoke with was very helpful and gave good advice. Would recommend.
