Staveley Head Avis 

Very disappointing to be charged 3 additional charges by Staveley Head on cancelling my policy with them after being a loyal customer for 6 years. They added a policy arrangement fee of £25, a refund fee of £5 and a cancellation free of £50. In total I have been charged £186.29 for just 32 days cover. If I ever buy a motorhome in the future, I certainly will be avoiding Staveley Head, these additional charges are totally wrong, especially to customers who they've earned commission on over the past 6 years.

Amber Taylor rang me yesterday, she couldn't get back to me that day so rang today to finalise the cover. She was helpful and informative; which is what I needed so I could get the cover sorted quickly.

Bait and switch 'Stratton Oakmont' style shill company of One Sure insurance. Low ball quote then proceed to charge multiple hidden fees, claw back commission, and void my cover. They send unwanted letters and then charge 7.50 for each. The insurance market badly needs cleaning up from these kind of companies. Avoid Staveley Head and One Sure at all costs.

Renewed my van insurance with Stavelyhead again this year and was happy to do so. This will be the third year on the trot as they keep providing exactly what I am looking for.

I renewed my Motorhome insurance with Staveley Head this morning with the help of Amber who was professional, and very helpful. I added a driver and changed insurance company - Amber found me a better price than I could find on the internet. Very happy, excellent service!

Motorhome insurance with them for two years and they were very happy to take my money . No claims . They doubled the price this year and basically it was tough that's the best we can offer , see you later . No thanks for your custom and we can see what we can do , very very poor .

Terrible customer service take money two weeks before date of renewal

Now been told will take up to 5 days for refund my policy was £300 now gone to over £1000 no clams or convictions so I am over a thousand pound out of pocket !!! Now there blameing the bank and bank are blameing them and am stuck in the middle!!

Great insurance first time in my 33 years of driving I’ve had a quote from an insurance company and it’s been at a really good price and competitive rather than hiking the price up and hoping you don’t notice
Spoke to the Harvie who was really helpful and sorted my insurance out in minute Hoping this continues next year

As with other reviews-an awful lot of information needed and "faff" to set up. Cancelled policy after 6 months and was told that it would cost more to cancel than it cost to set up BUT they would kindly waive some of the cancellation fee, bringing it back down to £0 to pay them!! (Also there was Legal cover added to our policy somehow, which we have never taken out in any vehicle insurance policy!). Can't comment on whether they settle claims quickly-have never needed (thankfully) that service in all the time we have been handing them our money!
