I also got the letter I knew it was a legalised scam immediately but the more people that register this with trustpilot the more likely it will get noticed
Sent me a trademark renewal, adding £1,000 to the cost of an actual renewal. Have used my personal address, which is not attributed to my trademark.
I got a letter saying my trademark is about to expire and a fee of £1320 to do it for me. I checked the letter was 12 months early. Thanks for the reminder. I've done them myself before and it was ver... Voir plus
Practice unethical sales tactics
This firm practice unethical lead generation by sending out letters to genuine trademark owners advising their IP that needs renewing in the next 12 months.
Their letters ask you to sign a consent form with outrageously inflated fees to act on your behalf. The reality is, TM or other IP can easily be renewed by the owner directly with IPO office for a couple of hundred pounds.
Shameless attempt to exploit those inexperienced in IP, or get triggered/panic by legal sounding letters.
Avoid at all costs.
Scammers
Scammers. As with other reviews I received a letter wanting £1320 to renew my trademark. Using bold font they confuse their renewal process start date with the actual renewal date! I did panic when I first saw the date but when you read it through it's obvious they are scammers. Go to the Gov.com website! It's a huge amount less than these charlatans.
Total Scam.
Total Scam.
Offered to renew my Trade Mark for £1320 + Vat
It's £200 to do it myself direct on line.
DO NOT PAY THESE THIEVES A PENNY.

I got a letter saying my trademark is about to expire and a fee of £1320 to do it for me. I checked the letter was 12 months early. Thanks for the reminder. I've done them myself before and it was very straight forward on the Government trade mark site.
Just received a letter from Stern Young…
Just received a letter from Stern Young and Partners. I can pay them £1320 or Gov UK £200. !!!
What a SCAM.
A total scam - unsolicited letter saying i can renew a trademark through them for £1320
A total scam
Thieves
Thieves! You can do this Trademark renewal yourself for £200 online, dont pay them £1320
AVOID!!
AVOID!!! DO NOT USE THEM - as other reviewers, received a letter offering their services for £1320 + VAT to renew our trademark. Not sure of actual cost yet for DIY but likely at least 80% less expensive then Stern Young & Partners propose to charge and relatively easy to Do It Yourself. Just hope they've incurred considerable costs printing & posting out the letters for very little - ideally zero - acceptance of their vastly inflated charges on their so called 'invitations'.
Avoid this scam
I received a letter from Stern Young and Partners asking for £1320 to renew a trade mark. Thankfully I tried calling (no answer) and then looked them up online. I read the reviews on Trust Pilot (thank you) and have saved over £1000.00. It's worth checking here and also reading the comments from other sites as this company is just going to rip you off. Avoid them and report them here!
Trademark scammers
recived a letter to renew my trademark for £2300. It's only £200 to do it myself and as it's a renewal it's very, very easy to do. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS
Stern and Young appear to be rip off…
Stern and Young appear to be rip off artists / scammers.
Received another one of their spam letters today, unsolicited.
They target small companies, advising them trademarks are about to expire when they are not, charging absurd rates for renewal.
If you need a trademark it is easy to do it yourself, or use a proper patent agent.
How sad that companies like this target…
How sad that companies like this target small businesses with "your trademark is about to expire" letters asking for £1320 for them to renew it - knowing full well it's only £200 for someone to renew easily (less than 5 minutes) and directly with the IPO. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them after receiving something like that.
Scammers & Thieves
Scammers. Thieves. £1,320 to renew my trademark with them. £200 direct with IPO. The letter looks very official though. Why don't you put your brains to good work instead of trying to steal off people.
Scam letter asking for £1000 more then…
Scam letter asking for £1000 more then the actual cost of trademark...
Received a letter from this company…
Received a letter from this company asking me to renew our trademark for £1,320 +VAT. I have many trademarks accumulated over the years so understand the system very well. The Gov site is simple and easy to use so no need for these scammers. So you can do this on the government website for £200 for 10 years plus £50 per class. I have 3 classes on the trademark on the letter, so £300 all in. This is all they would do and make £1,020 plus vat. Don't pay these people - its a scam.
I've recently received a letter from...
I've recently received a letter from these people inviting me to renew our trademark for over £1,000 +VAT. This is something that can be done quite simply and directly on the government website, for a small fraction of the cost proposed.
I note that the address on their website, is the location of a company formations office not a trading address. I also note that the address on their letter, is a mailbox address for collecting cheques presumably, not a trading address.
I leave it to you to decide what kind of company this is.
