Stonebridge Associated Colleges Avis 

I registered for a course in the past (quite a few years ago) and was told at the time that courses never expire. I had to take a break from my studies for personal reasons and returned to find that the course had been removed from my Portal.

It took me three weeks of being pushed from pillar to post on three different live chat platforms to be told that as I did not inform them that I was taking a break, I had to pay £40 to reactivate the course to complete it. Never mind that not once was I sent an email to ask if I was planning to complete the course or to inform me that the course would be removed soon etc.

Whichever live chat platform you go to, you are told to call the Customer Service number and then are on hold for ages as they are clearly short-staffed in the call center.

When I finally gave up (after weeks of being given the runaround) and agreed to pay the £40 (again the only way to pay was to call and spend 20 minutes on hold), I was sent login details only to see that another course I purchased was still there and available, even though I stopped it much longer than the course I was being made to pay to reactivate for inactivity!!!

Talk about moving the goalposts and saying whatever suit you in the moment!

The only person who was actually helpful in this entire fiasco was Ben on Live Chat. He actually made an effort to get to the bottom of what was going on and then was restricted by his own systems when he couldn't take the payment and instead had to ask me to call the Customer Service 'not-so-hotline'.

Dear Stonebridge...Don't tell people that your courses do not expire (check out their FAQs - it says it in black and white) and then proceed to remove courses without so much as a single email notification to your student. Staying silent and then trying to enforce a restart fee is a pretty dirty trick and only reflects on you.

I will finish the course I paid for, but never again! Fool me once...

I requested an extension date for my final unit and it was approved with no hesitation.

Following an exchange of messages i received my refund after a technical issue on the Effective Copywriting course. Overall, I'm pleased with the service even though it took longer than expected to resolve. I've studied with Stonebridge in the past and I would happily use Stonebridge again. We got there in the end.

As I delve deeper into the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy program with Stonebridge, I find myself gaining increasing confidence in the effectiveness of this therapeutic approach. I have requested a refund and send few emails for my course and never get a reply. None take responsibilities ,cant even get through the customer service。

I have been attending classes for some time now and I am extremely satisfied with my tutor, Marcus. He provides valuable assistance and promptly addresses any uncertainties I may have.

The course was interesting and fairly easy to follow. My tutor Ariane Holder was always there to support and answer any questions related to the coursework. The reason for my 2star was that It proved very difficult to book onto my practical day and was not done in a timely manner. I had to arrange this day myself, but the hydrotherapy centre involved were very professional and knowledgeable.

I booked a course and chose to pay in instalments. I paid the first payment but never got access to my course, I gave up trying to access it and carried on with my life, not thinking much of it. A few months later I’m getting harassed by debt collectors to pay over £300 on top of what the course costed because my second direct debit didn’t go through when I never received what I signed up for, disgusting business model and clear that they’re taking advantage of students.

The college personnel were very helpful in assisting me to register and get payment sorted. The course I am doing is very well put together and my tutor, Jill Edwards was very efficient and friendly when giving me feedback on my modules. Absolute pleasure dealing with Jill.

I hope it's poss to resolve the tech delays due to work not saving and the frustrations seeing questions repeated and appearing again in other random questions. Must be as frustrating at our end. Fingers x

Had nothing but hassle from this company, finally thought all had been sorted after over a year of hassle then hear from them recently that my certificate is finally ready but that I need to pay arrears of over £1000 before I can receive this, I do not owe this as my account has been paid off in full for a long while now, I’ve raised tickets but all they say is I owe the money.
Please don’t use this company, quick to take your money but absolutely awful customer service, avoid like the plaque.
Also noticed you can no longer leave a review on their Facebook page, they’ve removed the ability to leave reviews as there were so many bad ones.
