Stoves Avis 

Bought a Stoves Range Cooker 90cm in September. First thing the fan noise too loud and then it ran on too long (up to 1 hour). I allowed them to change the fan and sensor/thermostat. The fan still ran on longer than you’d expect but the noise was much better. However I thought this then led to the next issue, water dropping out of the compartment when, or after cooking. The engineer came out again, the water was in fact condensation due to a gap between the door seal and the compartment - turned out on both oven doors the screws were not done up, sadly one didn’t have any thread - so I rejected the cooker. The other issue is, although not a fault, just bad design is if you run a pan over the surface located induction hob, it will turn in a ring (obviously without the pan in it doesn’t actually power up). We used our new Rangemaster last night, considerably more expensive but obviously worth spending the money, so quiet and so good! AO throughout were excellent. I would not recommend Stoves, cheap product, poor build quality.

Spoke to Carol A about problems with my Stoves cooker and she quickly gave me an appointment for an engineer to call to sort it out.She had a very pleasant telephone manner and was very helpful too. She was easy to understand and didn’t mind repeating things. Wish most customer advisors were like that. Thank-you Carol!

Andrew L was so friendly and so knowledgeable about my product. He explained everything thoroughly and was so friendly. Really efficient service and an engineer is being sent to me in a matter of days.

Waste of time.
The outer glass panel on my oven was smashed. I contacted Stoves and explained the problem, giving the product serial number and emphasizing that the oven was 13 years old. I was assured that ithe door could be replaced, made payment and arranged a day for the engineer. Five minutes later Stoves rang back saying that oven was too old for them to have spare parts and my payment would be returned in up to a day or two.

I spoke to Carol A in Customer Support today and she was excellent. Very helpful and went to great lengths to solve my query.

Norman was very helpful and sorted my issue quickly and efficiently.

Susan answered the phone really quickly. She was extremely helpful and polite. She booked an engineer’s visit for 1 week’s time. Excellent(so far!).

I have just spoken to Andrew L on the phone asking for an engineer to look at my oven we are in our 80s and he was so patient and helpful can't praise him enough. Regards Linda and John Lowery

Ordered a spare part.
Next day delivery.
4 days later and no sign of it.
They say it's with Royal mail.
Gave tracking number.
Royal mail says it doesn't exist.

Heather the person I spoke to was Very Polite and new what she was talking about , Heather booked a visit to sort things Out, But was not happy with the Greedy 0344 Telephone Number as I was on hold for 12 minutes before speaking to Heather about my Issue.

Had to contact customer services regarding the noise and length of time the fan runs on the range cooker, there are no trouble shootings in the manual so not sure if it is normal or not, the call handler just said it was the cooker cooling the chassis, only when I pursued it did he offer an appointment to have it modified . I also explained that steam escapes from the tall oven and the door doesn’t appear to close flush to the main oven, again not sure if this is normal, customer services were very dismissive!

Need a repair to my timer, as it's not working. Andrew L arranged an engineer for two days time. Can't fault the service.

Jason efficiently organised an engineer call out for a fault with a cooker that was outside its warranty period. Cost was made clear and although not going to be cheap it is still cheaper than replacing cooker at this time. Having a qualified person look at the cooker was important to me. Jason also outlined cost should repair not be possible and guarantee re work. Thank you

Had a minor issue with our new Richmond stove cooling fan. Andrew L who took our call explained what the problem was and quickly arranged for a service engineer to call to rectify it. Excellent precise customer service from Andrew (Bostin! ;-) & Truly Fantastic stove! (According to our 20 year old expert: The pizza program is amazing)

Andrew L was really polite, knowledgeable and helpful and managed to sort my repair out quickly.
I would have given 5 stars but had to wait for ages before my call was answered.
