Philippa Ives at Ascot has been our property manager for nearly 13 years. During that time she has been exceptional to work with - always responsive, cheerful and helpful no matter what the issue or the dumb question I had. She helped co-ordinate the renovation of our house including painting and kitchen with all the various trades with minimal involvement from me. She always maintained excellent relationships with me and our tenants. We would not have had such a successful letting experience without her and help from the whole letting team at Ascot.

Sadly our experience hasn't been great with Strutt & Parker.

Here is some honest feedback about our experience!

1. Promises and deadlines for marketing our property were undelivered
2. The photo shoot was that bad we had to appoint our own photographer.
3. Once a viewing was booked we'd spend hours preparing our property to look its best and after the viewing we'd receive zero feedback.

This was on the selling side only.

Ref the purchasing

We were in a chain whereas both properties were marketed by Strutt and Parker. The vendors of where we were purchasing decided they couldn't find anywhere suitable after we'd spent £2500 on legal fees. If this was not bad enough we were even more mortified when Strutt & Parker willingly re-marketed the property just a few months later for £50k more without even consulting us first.

This will be costly to Strutt & Parker going forwards as we are property developers in the area, and they could have generated a lot more business from us, however we have gone with another agent who will be selling 5 properties for us in the first instance.

Sophia and Sharnie from Strutt & Parker in Suffolk were exceptional in working with us to find our country house and then get the purchase over the line. Their local knowledge and understanding of the properties we saw was the best I’ve experienced from any agents around the world. With an overseas vendor and in the middle of a covid lockdown they proved excellent brokers and the sale wouldn’t have happened without their input. I hope we are in our house for a long time but if I was ever to sell or looking for something new then they would be my first call, highly recommended!

I was so impressed with Michael Houlden who handled the negotiation of the sale of my large listed property. He is extremely enthusiastic and friendly and quickly understands the characters of both seller and buyer and handles all situations well. He even worked, if necessary, out of business hours. He ensured anyone to deal with my sale had visited the house before it was launched. Vanessa who undertook the viewings was brilliant as was Chloe in the office who set up appointments and dealt with questions.

Gina Simpson has been a fantastic Estate Agent who was diligent and looked after us throughout the process of purchase of property and understood our deadlines and needs. This was a great experience for us.

we have been delighted with the service we have received from Strutt and Parker. Their accurate assessment of our property and the speedy sale that ensued has been a really pleasant surprise, and we couldn't be more pleased.

Watch out from this property management. They steal your money and they don’t do anything. I have a roof leak reported several times for a year and they just don’t care. People leave shoes and personal belongings in common areas which is forbidden for fire hazards, and they don’t do anything. Very bad.

I'd like to highly recommend Steven Spencer and team from the Strutt & Parker Gerrards Cross office.

We had been looking to move home for the past 18 months and struggled to find the perfect property which met our family’s needs. Steven was very patient with us and showed us many different properties. At no time did he try to force a sale, instead he showed us properties which all could genuinely work.

The end result was that we moved in to the perfect home and are extremely grateful to the Steven and all the Strutt & Parker. The experience was amazing!

We recently brought a house through Strutt and Parker. All I can say is they have been amazing from start to finish. Belinda at the Cambridge branch helped us from the minute she showed us around our home , until after we exchanged. First set of photos were not acceptable but it was no problem to order a second set. Guide price achieved.
Sale held up, due to delay in attaining probate, but purchasers kept well informed by S&P.

Sevenoaks: excellent service from Victoria all the way through. We achieved the sale price recommended by Strutt & Parker, which other agents told us would not be possible. Victoria was confident in the value, even when I questioned it, and all the offers received were in line. She also consistently went above and beyond to visit the property (which was vacant) and ensure everything was in good order. Would highly recommend these agents.

S&P Norwich advised us on sale price, marketed the house online and by brochure, organised viewings and negotiated an acceptable offer - all within a couple of weeks. Will Mullan kept us informed throughout and we were impressed by his and his colleagues' efficiency and diplomacy in dealing with prospective purchasers. We have no hesitation in commending the professionalism of the Norwich office residential team.
