Terrible company made the mistake of opening a new account for horse racing deposited £50 realised sports betting didn't include racing wow who would have thought that ,the trouble I had trying to get my deposit back, well just read all the other reviews they tell a true account of what you have to go through.

I used STS, put a bet on and my selction was winning, so decided to cash out. Despite pressing the button numerous times, it didn't work. The bet eventually won at full time. I then tried to withdraw the money, I couldn't as they had locked my account.

Avoid.

This use to be a decent site but after taking a couple of time out's to have a break from gambling they site became unusual.
they emailed me almost constantly to ask why i had taken a break, and am i still comfortable with the site then after confirming all was okay i continued to get the same emails. a loss limit was entered on my account and an annoying pop up asking if i wanted to take a break kept coming up. then after using the site for years they requested lots of extra info from me before processing my withdrawal, supplied copies of front and back of card which caused issues, then they wanted a copy of my passport, a copy of a utility bill and a copy of my bank statement, very much over the top in my opinion

Absolute nightmare site, do yourself a favor and use one of the other more reputable sites.

Allowed me to deposit £50 wouldn’t let me place a bet until verified. I do not have any valid photo identification usually I pass the checks on other sites without having to do so and if not the case a site would allways refund me my money. But not sts they are holding my money and refusing to give it me back even though I have showed them clearly that they are breaking guidelines set by the gambling commission and allso breaking the law by doing this they think there terms and condition are above the law apparently. I even sent them a direct link from the gambling commission site that said it was agaist the law to hold any money from a customer from deposits or winnings if they have not provided identification but it seems to make no difference to them this site needs shutting down they are crooks and break the law with no remorse. UPDATE making me got though there complaints procedure beofre o can take it further giving them 8 weeks to reply which they are clearly stretching it our for as long as possible to try and keep my money an other betting company replies in days it has been weeks and nothing

They took my money away after signed up and been told to wait for department to get back to me. Disgrace, stay away from this company!

Avoid avoid avoid and just in case you missed it avoid these con artists. They took my money with no problems but the second I tried to withdraw they wanted every little detail about me which I provided but still didn't pay out. If you don't mind throwing your money away use these con artists but otherwise totally avoid.

"Avoid" just been robbed, was told 100% match my first deposit, deposited £100 which I lost within minutes then my bonus disappeared. Keep well away from this company

I opened an account with them recently and within my first day the account was blocked from depositing. Not until after the first deposit limit was reached though.

When you sign up with Stsbet you have to set an amount for deposit limits on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
This is good as you can outline how much you want to spend and you can enter any amount that you think is within your spending limits.
My daily limit was £500, you can go to the tens of thousands if you think you can afford it. The only issue is after I made that £500 deposit my account was blocked from making further deposits
It wasn't until 3 days later and after asking live chat 3 times for them to contact me regarding the matter did I find out that they blocked the deposits as they wanted to know why it was so high and ask the typical responsible gambling questions.
I am a big gamble and can fortunately afford to lose £500 a day (hope I don't though).
The answer I gave was not good enough for them and they set a deposit limit of £500 a month with a loss limit of £200 a month.

They did all this without asking for source of wealth or proof of income. I believe they erred on the side of being too cautious and trying to be a responsible casino but they've made a mistake.
This decision had came to "based on the judgement and review of the relevant department."
I can only assume that they came to this conclusion based on the bank statement I sent as proof of ownership of the account that toy use to deposit.
What they never thought of was that the account I use to deposit is not the same account I use for my business.

I'm really disappointed by the steps they decided to take, it all feels a bit like a power move without being impartial and asking for relative evidence.
When they had first contacted me in regards to why the deposits were blocked on the account they had just asked questions, if they needed evidence some could have been provided but it would take time. While I was waiting for them to contact me I did not realise it was in regards to the deposit limit being high.

They have now subsequently closed the account and happily taken that £500 initial deposit with no offer of a bonus for the inconvenience or a partial refund.

Slow customer service.
Restrictive with spending.
Microgaming slots do not work on any platform.
Very strict with proof of verification.

This company is corrupt and will go to any lengths to withhold your money.
I inadvertently deposited £120 when I was trying to withdraw that amount
This company has now closed my account and say they are confiscating all money in my account. how can they do this? This is outrageous how are they allowed to do this

Site said I would get 500 bonus spins if I lost £50 for the signup offer. I played 300 bonus spins and didn't get the winnings. I contacted them later and they said the rest of the spins were expired so I got nothing. I'm now down £50

Utterly disgraceful. All I did was register, add £50, and then I won £140. Immediately after the withdrawal started, my account had to be verified. Nonetheless, I uploaded everything as requested the next day.
On the 3rd day, I got the initial £50 back instead of the £140, and no emails or sms regarding what happened.
I contacted them, and "Alex" gave me a vague explanation.
My account got closed, and I was refunded the £50, all while my winnings were invalidated. He could not tell me exactly why that happened, he just gave me a couple of reasons that "might've been the cause".
When I asked if I can talk with someone else that might know more, he just said that he can't put me in contact with any managers or the actual team that reviewed my account, stating that they do not deal with the live chat, nor can they give information to the chat workers.
So, to conclude, I gave them money, won, account closed, money back.

Exactly the same thing happened to my girlfriend,(which I'm guessing this might be the reason our accounts got disabled for using same IP, even though she was the only one claiming the 500 free spins bouns) but instead of her getting a refund, she actually got only what she had left in the account, which was £38 out of £50.

So I guess my winning was not to be taken into account, but her loss was.

I'm really disappointed by this. I actually thought this will be a legit gambling website to play on, but after I saw how things work, it's clearly that, as a company, they are indulging into shady practices.

If anyone from STS is reading this, please think about what you do carefully.

They let me deposit then froze my account and asked for around 10 documents to verify account, the only thing they didn't ask for was a STD test result which I probably should of asked of them before they screwed me!

Few days later after many emails the account gets verified, I lost some money and decided to withdraw my remaining deposit balance, this was refused as you need to wager your deposit 1x before withdrawal.

Then I get an email to say they have closed my account with no reasoning, they did put my remaining balance straight in my bank. But a complete waste of time and effort AVOID.

Only my experience but I've not had any problems, winnings received back promptly, every so often I've been asked for verification documents but they have been processed quickly. Website can be a little slow to navigate but no major issues.
