My velux solar windows batteries
My velux solar windows ground to a halt. A little research & doh ! the batteries have expired. The Subtel equivalents were perfect, pre charged and worked immediately. Delivery was prompt and I’ve saved their details for the next time I need replacements !!

Scandalous delivery cost
Subtel wanted to charge me £45.95 delivery on my order due to their insistence on using DPD Couriers. So I contacted them and asked them to send via Royal Mail since that would cost £2. They refused. I got them to deliver it to a relative (for £2) who readdressed it and posted it to me for the regular Royal Mail postage cost. I was invited to leave a review here on Trustpilot, which I did. I then received an email from Subtel using extremely unprofessional language pressuring me into changing the content of my review. Absolute joke

We are sorry to read this. Indeed since Brexit, DPD and other couriers charge very high prices for deliveries in some parts of the UK (Scottland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man...).
This happens regardless of the seller or delivery company. This is a rather annoying situation that we and other sellers have unfortunately no control over.
The part of your comment about the normal post is however legitimate, as we unfortunately don't work with Royal Mail. We apologize for this.
The email you received, that was not ''extremely unprofessional'' was not meant to ''pressure'' you in any way but rather to provide an explanation to this very simple situation. Unfortunately an explanation does not seem to have helped.

i have to say that the warranty they offer is brilliant and what is even more so is that you dont need to rely on the warranty as the batteries i have got are so good that they serve you well. customer service is brilliant too, so as long as the quality keeps up and customer service remains good i will use these lot as my go to .

Quick, easy transaction and very speedy delivery. Well packaged and clear instructions for install and maintenance of the battery with regards to charging etc.

Do not use under any circumstances
No response from the company on trying to return items despite 4 attempts, they appear as if they are trading in the UK, they are not and therefore very difficult to get hold of.
They finally responded after I wrote this review basically saying I had not communicated with them!!!. Doesn’t make sense all I wanted was the option to return the battery, some companies make life so difficult for their customers.
I will return the battery but doubtful any refund will be forthcoming.
As expected - the battery was returned to them on the 23rd September signed for by RANSLEY still no refund!! despite chasing - again

Bought a Philips Avent 2600mAh battery but found it had a different connector to what I needed - my mistake really, but customer services couldn’t have been more helpful, returned & got full refund including postage. Would definitely use again.

Ordered Psu, Never turned up . All I got from them was" can we have your address" after giving it to them 4 times I gave up and am trying to get my money back. Eventually received item. It was of good quality and fit for purpose

As there was a problem in the postal code you gave, the first parcel could not be delivered.
We then asked for a confirmation of your address twice, not 4 times.
As we told you, a second parcel was shipped yesterday and is now on its way.
