Made a quick call to see if the Vans snowboard I wanted were in stock! They confirmed and I went to the store straight away to collect. On arrival they offered me a free heat moulding for the inner boot and set me up with them straight away!

Great pair of gloves. I have these in the pink and black design and they fit over my wrist guards nicely. The staff are lovely and offered to put them behind the counter incase I was stopping by

Bought my first board Burton Talent Scout 23/24 here. The condition of the board is perfect and I love that they use thin plastic wrap to protect the board. I asked the shop to double-check the size of the board since I got a wrong size board from a different shop and I don't want to return another board. And they did double-check it for me. Super nice shop.
The only problem came from the delivery company APC. I am not sure why but the box was open and one end of the box was rolled up a bit when I got it. The only reason I can think of is the box is quite long and the delivery van is not big enough to put the box in. So the driver had no choice but to open my box so that he could roll up the box a bit to save some space. But for a customer, I don't like the feeling of someone opening my parcel before me.
But again, not the shop's fault. I like the shop that answered my request quickly and politely. And the shop used the proper way to protect the products.

They made a genuine mistake of leaving a security tag in an order. I messaged them, they called me within a couple of hours and let me know they were organising for the a courier to pick up the gloves and they were sending out a new pair. They also included a beanie as an apology for the inconvenience.

Broke my board on holiday so went in for a new one, super friendly staff who know what they are doing. Best experience I’ve had buying equipment has been from subvert. The staff are always willing to help and answer questions. They can direct you to other boards too depending on how you explain your type of riding.
Definitely give them a visit if you’re looking for new kit or to get into snowboarding

Buyer beware : if you buy from their Manchester store you can only have a store credit if you take something back within 28 days. I bought very expensive Smith goggles. The person who served me knew I wasn’t sure of the purchase as the low light lens was yellow and my eyes prefer rose hue tint. I was in the store for some time and it was near closing time. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get this type of goggle before going away so I bought them. Now wouldn’t you think as a good sales person they would have said then if you buy you can’t have a full refund only a store credit ? I managed to get what’s I wanted from another store and when I took them back I was shown the very small writing at the bottom of the receipt…presumably after you got the receipt the horse had bolted! Then they pointed to a small moveable sign on the counter which could have been turned at the point I wouldn’t have seen it. Given they are a snow boarding outfit and I am a skier nothing in that shop would be suitable. Would never buy from them again nor recommend them

The staff at Subvert is amazing and they know there stuff.
I needed help with my snowboarding shoes that i did not even buy there and the staff could not be more helpful.
I wanted to get it heat molded and the staff gave me options to what will be the best way and even test it on the slopes and come back.

Ordered 2x Subvert mittens online for our snowboard trip - they were dispatched and delivered super quick (thanks for the haribo and stickers too!)
The mittens, they’re Subverts own - they look great, are amazing quality, super warm and soft inside (with fingers)
On the slopes they not only rivalled my old mitts (expensive brand) but smashed them out of the park. Both me and my partner had toasty warm and dry hands and they looked sick in photos and videos!
Buzzing to support a local brand and encourage others to do the same!
