I found the staff extremely helpful and informative when trying to buy the right board for my son. There was no pushy salesmen trying to make me buy the most expensive board and bindings, instead used their knowledge and experience of snowboarding to direct me to boards suitable for him. For a change a great shopping experience by great salespeople.

Liked the fact it came by Royal Mail. And the Haribo was a lovely surprise. If I remember rightly it came the following day after buying late the previous day. Getting a voucher takes the worry from buying the wrong thing. Perfect gift. And they like Haribo. Win win.

Why would you shop anywhere else?
Despite riding for over 2 decades I’m still overwhelmed by the vast array of technologies sandwiched in to a snowboard & which combination of these is going to suit me best for clipping in & getting out there in all conditions. Fortunately well over a decade ago I discovered Subvert & now happily hand the decision making process over to them. On this occasion, in search of a new all mountain board, their short list included the Nitro Team. It’s a make I’ve had no experience of but, on their advice I went for.
On 2 trips the board has encountered hard ice, fresh pow, summer slush and everything in between and coped with them all. Basically this is a board which will put a smile on your face whether you want to charge around or weave between the trees.
Yet again, thanks to the expertise of Subvert it makes me feel like I know what I’m doing out there! Why would you shop anywhere else 🤙

Just the best shop with real riders!
Just the best shop with real riders, and the best bit is you can try before you buy on boards and bindings as you have the slope there 50yards away! I tried 4 boards before settling on the Death Label Black Flag 151 and Union bindings. Not many places in the UK you can do that :-)
