Supercard Black Avis 

My girlfriend signed up for a discount card after seeing and ad somewhere, free for 3 months. She cancelled after one month.

Nearly a year later £99 charge from her account from another supercard related business, when confronted they claimed that even ex members could be offered things. They emailed her a 14 day free trial offer which went to spam and they automatically entered her bank details and charged her for it despite her never seeing, reading, or agreeing to the service (some business called supertravelclub)

How this is not a crime I don't know. Considering legal action and from the looks of it they have rehashed their business 3 times with Mysupercard and Supercard on trustpilot here having shockingly low reviews.

This is criminal.

edit: Not going to follow up and talk to you guys because you're nice enough replying to a bad review here but told my girlfriend when she contacted you privately that you reserve the right to sign up ex-customers for any products and services you want and its part of the small print. If you want to find a resolution maybe you should change your business practice and stop ripping people off, just a thought.

Don't touch this company, had the trial, cancelled my membership, now they've taken money from bank account with out permission.

Used many times and not had any sort of issues, good company and discounts are pretty decent with a wide range of choices

Very happy with this - have used it often to save money in restaurants we actually eat at as well as simple things like getting money off with Tesco. The only thing I wish was that you didn't have to convert the money so often into gift cards, but it's pretty easy to do and the savings are worth the minor hassle. I get my for free through a society membership so can vouch for how good a value it represents if you have to subscribe. Good choice of places offering the discount but sometimes the % reduction advertised is not what you actually get - the information does need updating.

Tried to take £89.99 from my bank and when my bank thought it suspicious and blocked my card I had to call a fraud line for my bank to get it unblocked. Never even signed up for a supercard so I have no idea how they got my bank details

Customer service is really good. I have got a free night to stay in London next week. Booking was through email and quite easy.

Great service provided by the team with regular access to lots of discounts. I use these discounts for all my household purchases including my weekly food shop. A family of four who regularly benefit from the discounts on offer. Would highly recommend. A great help in these time during the cost of living crisis.

The offers from Supercard is really attractive competitive. I purchased a few gift cards from them and met no issues at all. The gift cards were delivered through e-mail in a few seconds.

Discounts on things you were buying anyway! Easy to use - would be good if you could purchase directly from the app, but not too big an issue.

i think it’s rubbish tried to use in curry when i purchased a kettle an toaster to be told no you have to add it after you paid !! so i would then purchase a gift card after so i can use for something else ! crazy

Good card to have. Have not tried all that the card has to offer yet. But looks good

Idea is good but not sure if I will cover the cost of the card in the first place.

It is so easy to buy a gift card and I usually do my shopping then purchase my gift card for the amount I am spending.

Efficient and saving money even it is little, but every little helps

Of all the discount cards, this one has been most useful. i wish the app would work on my samsung A52, however. But failing that this is my goto before anything i look to buy.

I have just discovered a charge of £69.99 for Supercard on my credit card account November 2023 . I searched my email history for Supercard and remembered an email received 1st October 2021 offering a trial membership of 14 days, which if you did not cancel, would incur a £99.95 charge for membership. This was cancelled at the time by telephone no problem. Two years later, November 2023 Supercard charged me £69.99. (Certainly no email this time.) Supercard said they had sent me another email with a chance to renew my membership (not received) with the same clause "if you don't cancel within 14 days you will be charged for membership". This has again been resolved and money returned. But surely this procedure of sending emails, even if these emails are unseen, unopened or go straight to trash, Supercard continues to make an unauthorised debit on your card. Not a customer friendly service. Be aware..
