Time just flew by
Time just flew by. I was SO surprised by how much we got done. I've always wanted to learn to knit but been bamboozled by watching YouTube videos. The teacher was amazing, so, so patient and found time for everyone. In the course of two and half hours I got to grips with casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and then even had a go at cable stitching (which was possible a stitch too far for me) and then casting off. I was amazed. The only reason I have dropped a star is because at the end the teacher said I wasn't on her list which made me really uncomfortable. I had booked online, had my confirmation email etc. I'm really glad she didn't tell me at the beginning as then I probably wouldn't have stayed, but I am worried what has gone wrong with the admin that I'm booked on to a course and they weren't expecting me. I am booked onto a crochet class in a couple of weeks, so I'm hoping that someone gets back to me before then to reassure me that my booking is all good as I'm going to be super anxious going otherwise.
UPDATE: I've given them back the star because they got in touch and apologised for problems they've been having with their booking system and have been super helpful with my future booking.
