Literally publishes factually and grammatically incorrect, ableist hate speech. A vile rag that employs vile subhumans such as Poppy Coburn, and pays it to spew hatred against the disabled.
Generally very good for news. But football coverage is pathetically poor. Why don't they add print match reports to their online version?? Also, 'free' access to crosswords does not work.

Beware of paying more than you think!
Beware! When you try to cancel a subscription, they will offer a discounted rate £0.50 for 6m or £2.99 for 6 months, which if you subscribe, you may not receive a confirmation email and will likely end up paying the full price £14.99 instead! This happened to me not once but twice, and they refused to give refund. I am still pursuing it.
They state, you can cancel it anytime but sometimes you won't be able to do it online because the option won't be available at all.
Faultless customer service
Just finished a call with customer services about my renewal (Jamie). Faultless service, professional, and friendly. Yes, you often have to call rather than amend online, but the process is smooth and efficient.
No longer the same organisation
No longer the same newspaper. It was recently bought by Axel Springer, a German liberal. That should tell you enough to know that they're no longer going to be a realistic right wing newspaper. This also explains why they've spent the past few weeks attacking restore for views that most of reform uk supporters and most telegraph subscribers also hold. Also why do they have an obsession with Israel? It's brought up in most of their articles. I mean most people in the UK don't really care about the middle east, they'd rather know about what is happening in the UK. Also the telegraph can be very hypocritical about it, you want Israel to have borders and their demographics to be secure into the future, but if you want that for the UK or any other western nation, you're far right. That's some crazy logic there.
AVOID!
I am extremely upset with my whole experience with The Telegraph. I unknowingly subscribed to a 3 month free trial - I was very surprised and angered when £34.99 came out of my bank account last night! No email to let me know my free trial was ending. I contacted the Telegraph straight away to cancel it and had hoped they would be understanding of the situation and refund me the money. But no! Just a generic “it was in the terms and conditions when you signed up for the free trial blah blah blah”. Judging by 85% of their trustpilot reviews it is obvious they are conning a lot of people out of money and are extremely unhelpful and robotic when responding to pleas for help. AVOID!!
I signed up for a free trial to access…
I signed up for a free trial to access an article that I needed for educational purposes. I am sure that I cancelled my subscription during the trial period because I would never give money to an organisation such as The Telegraph, a right-wing rag which peddles fake news, xenophobia, and racism on a daily basis.
I have since been charged for a month's subscription, which I then tried to cancel. After going through the process, a page appeared saying that there was an error. So this must have happened when I cancelled my subscription during the free trial. There is no option to get a refund through the website either.
I will now have to call the customer service number to get a refund, but I don't have much hope considering the deceptive practices they used to get my money in the first place.
The very worst of journalism these…
The very worst of journalism these days. A once great newspaper now good for toilet paper.
Example 50000 + dead in Iran, but this toilet paper is obsessed with attacking a politician like Rupert Lowe because the simpletons employed at this rag of a newspaper do not agree with his views.
Total scum and hopefully soon bankrupt.
Was this 1 August Telegraph magazine…
Was this 1 August Telegraph magazine the dullest ever; even featuring on its cover one of the most boring commentators, as if warning readers of its sleep-inducing contents. Having recently started a subscription with the New York Times, the difference in quality of journalism is stunning…and not in the Telegraph’s favour. What is going on with the Telegraph? It is becoming the trashiest broadsheet imaginable. And most of its journalists have turned simply to political commentary, even Sitwell…who, himself, seems preoccupied with giving puffs to his new restaurant/pub; give it a rest, please.
Just another establishment rag
Just another establishment rag, happy to have commenters call for the deaths of white British while they'll ban you for commenting along the lines of the opinions of their long standing writers. Of course anyone be to the paper is woke.
Avoid at all costs - cancelling subscription is deliberately difficult
My experience with The Telegraph’s subscription service has been appalling from start to finish.
They do not allow customers to cancel their subscriptions through the website. Instead, you are forced to contact customer service. I tried calling, but the staff’s headsets appeared to be broken and I could not hear them properly. I then had to use live chat and repeatedly ask for the subscription to be cancelled.
The Telegraph refused to refund the £34.99 charge, claiming that I needed to cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date. The problem is that their own cancellation process is so broken and obstructive that it can take longer than 48 hours simply to reach someone capable of cancelling it.
You should not be penalised for failing to meet a cancellation deadline when the company does not provide a working online cancellation option and its customer-support systems do not function properly.
Even during the live chat, the agent did not immediately process my cancellation. Instead, they asked why I wanted to leave, attempted to offer a lower price and reminded me which services I would lose, despite my repeated and unambiguous requests to cancel.
The whole process feels designed to make cancellation as difficult as possible and increase the chance that customers will be charged. A reputable digital subscription should allow cancellation online in a few clicks.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding The Telegraph’s subscription service at all costs.

corrupt and immoral. Forced change from puzzles to all access.
I do not and would not read the telegraph. These Actions show the level of integrity by this organization.
That these Actions are legal is a further reflection on the mess this country is in.
AVOID THE TELEGRAPH AT ALL COSTS.
I have just received my credit card…
After being shocked to discover that The Telegraph had deducted £199 from my credit card without my knowledge, I tried to cancel only to discover I don’t have an account. Turns out a year ago I must have been looking online, and pressed auto renewal.
I telephoned The Telegraph and they were extremely helpful, he said he would immediately cancel my subscription, and refund me £179. I am more than happy with that outcome, true to his word he sent me a confirmation email of the cancellation and the refund. Really pleased, very impressed .
No more than a gutter red top in disguise
The Telegraph has descended in to no more than a gutter paper held up by lazy journalism. The latest attempt to vilify the entirety of the armed forces because of the pension that 0.1% of serving personnel receive after probably 40+ years of service, is no better than what I’d expect to see from a low budget red top. Maybe add those figures into context with other public sector workers? Subscription cancelled for this household.
Please just lose the ads and trackers
Please just lose the ads and trackers! I HAVE to use the website along with ad blocking extensions - over 2550 ads blocked in just a few hours - I kid you not. I cannot use the app on my phone for the same reason - I get bombarded with ads for fake air cons, glassware and solar panel cons. I pay a subscription. This is disgraceful.
Not worth the hastle…
I saw a good deal for a 3 month trial subscription, which I went ahead with. Unfortunately, I was unable to access any articles on the digital app. I kept getting pop ups offering further subscriptions. I assumed wrongly, that my original subscription had not gone through. It wasn't until I received an email 3 months later stating £14.99 had been taken from my bank account, I realised the original subscription had gone through.
I immediately emailed the 'Telegraph' to cancel and was advised by Holly, to contact customer services. I fail to understand why Holly from customer services, couldn't carry out my email request. It took me three attempts with 3 different advisors to finally cancel the subscription. Hard work to try and cancel.
Despite not accessing any articles, the Telegraph refused any refund. I can see other people have had similar problems. I can also see that I seemed to get off quite lightly compared to other customers. I am frustrated that thrre is no reminder of payment due. I feel that this is a scam and I am disappointed as I expected better. My advice is do not subscribe. Trustpilot reviews and rating of 1.3 say it all.

Got a free subscription for a year with Vodaphone rewards
Called them the day after I got the subscription to ensure that the auto renewal doesn’t happen
Lo and behold, 1 year later they try to take money from my account and luckily my bank noticed and blocked it

Keep getting emails despite unsubscribing. They keep trying to charge me. In order to get the customer service details you have to either accept cookies and then your data will be sold and get scam calls etc or reject and pay. They’re fraudulent at this point. Avoid!
An angry newspaper
Unbalanced journalism catering to a certain demographic. Echo chamber vibe in the comments section. Highly unpleasant. Try the Times if you want some balance.
