We have used Guru Cleaners for several years now. Our cleaning lady, Sultan, is so professional, thorough and always leaves home spotless. I had other cleaners for a number of years but none matched the effort that Sultan puts into cleaning and everything she does at our place. From an administrative point of view, Guru Cleaners are great, they always advise of any changes well in advance and Sultan in particular is always on time and never cancels scheduled services. We get great value and would recommend Guru Cleaners to anyone considering having home cleaning services.

My cleaner Yokova is very precise when cleaning and takes her time. We really appreciate the work that she does for us,and have got so used to her weekly visits that we couldn't consider anyone else. I have been using Cleaning Gurus for many years now to clean my home, and have had experience of several different cleaners (always a regular one, but the person tends to change every couple of years or so). The current lady Mariyana is reliable and is doing a good job of keeping our busy (and often messy) family home clean - it is always nice to see the house looking good after her visits, even if it doesn’t last long with young kids around!

I have been using gurus for around 6 years now. Our regular cleaning lady Irina, is the best! We don’t know where we would be without her weekly visits. Nothing is too much trouble and she does an amazing job every time - going above and beyond! I also recently used gurus for an end of tenancy clean and my new tenants were very impressed with the standard of the clean.

Cleaning Gurus is amazing. I’ve been so happy with our cleaner Dora’s professionalism and expertise. She is absolutely fantastic and I can’t rate her enough. I don’t think I can be without a cleaner now! Best investment I’ve ever made especially since being so busy myself with work!

Service provided is first class and efficient.

Never pay a deposit if you don't want a price surprise when they arrive. I regret having ordered deep cleaning services from this company. On arrival they simply asked double price arguing the fridge has a mould in it.

They were very responsive when quoting a price and booking an End of Tenancy clean which I thought was a good sign. I'm afraid I didn't check the reviews on here first. However the two cleaners arrived on time, and spent 3 hours i.e. total of 6 person hours to clean 1 bed flat. On initial inspection when I returned it looked ok, but on closer inspection after they left I discovered that the clean was superficial:- dirt left on skirting boards (front and tops), hair and dust behind bathroom sink and tiles not fully cleaned, wooden door panels not cleaned, radiators not wiped and much hair left behind them, floors had been wiped but dirt at the edges and especially in the corners which indicated that the clean had been quite superficial. As I had viewings the day after, and not trusting that the company would either re-clean in time or do it properly, I got on my hands and knees and did it properly myself to be sure it was perfect for viewings. This took elbow grease but wasn't anything difficult, certainly within the skillset of anyone cleaning properly. As I had two days of viewings I had no time to complain within the time given by the company, but I did take pictures of the shoddy work as I was correcting. I sent these pictures and my issues to the company a week later. They offered a re-clean but I explained that for me, and many others judging by the other complaints on here, when you get a bad clean on the first go, you definitely lose confidence in their ability to do another one and you don't want to risk it if you are pressed for time. In my situation I definitely didn't want to risk not getting a great clean in the 24 hours I had before my two days of viewings, which is why I didn't take time to complain immediately but instead did it myself. I pointed out that what we customers want is to have a clean done right the first time, which they could achieve if they quality controlled their cleaners.

There are so many other similar complaints on here that it seems the company hasn't learnt from their mistakes. If I were them I wold put more effort into getting the clean right first time, and if it didn't happen I would offer a refund or a re-clean which would cover situations like mine. That to me is how you build trust and reputation.

The clean cost me a total of £197. I certainly feel as if I was ripped off. The company told me they are proud of their service and the many positive reviews they have on here, but it's interesting that since Trust Pilot stopped companies incentivising people to write good reviews, (see the change in their policy recently) the number of negative reviews for this company has gone up - so I suspect they may have been "enhancing" their reviews in the past.

I don't like to criticise a small company as I know it's hard to cover all the bases in a business, however I also know the pressures on landlords and how difficult it is to find good cleaners. So, I feel obliged to warn other people off this company, they don't offer a professional standard of service either in cleaning or customer care. I won't use them again and I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

Cleaning Guru's suggested a team 2 cleaners for 3-4 hours for a two bedroom, one bathroom flat with kitchen, living room and hallway. I also asked for two carpets to be cleaned. They said they were a professional service that had been operating for years.
One cleaner turned up at 9am. She was nice but slow. Within half an hour their office was calling me to tell me that the price was going up because it was a lot larger than they expected. I said they hadn't seen it so how could they know. There was no furniture to clean, it was empty and the sink, oven and appliances were all cleaned so there was no soaking to do. They blamed the price change on the one and only cleaner there. She was mortified and said she didn't say it was larger. The decision was made by the team leader apparently who hadn’t seen the flat. I never spoke to the team leader.
I said the cleaner is here on her own and she will won’t finish the flat in 4 hours. I had other properties to get to in the afternoon. I told them to take off the carpet cleaning. The attitude was very formulaic. Never once did they explain or apologise about the lack of another cleaner. Nor explain about a sudden increase in price.
The only cleaner there said she didn’t know who the other cleaner was and didn’t know the team leader either.
Finally after 2 hours with no other help or explanation from Cleaning Gurus – I started cleaning myself; handling both bedrooms and other surfaces and floors around the flat. I informed their office. The price went down accordingly.
I will never use them again as it appears they have a variety of cleaners that they use from a variety of different companies. Like others on here, they promise an amount of cleaners, who don’t turn up and then change the pricing without seeing the property and expect you to pay.
When I complained both over the telephone and email, they didn’t apologise or indeed offer any mitigating circumstances. If you look after properties and need a reliable service then this is not the company for you.
If I could give them zero stars, then I would.

This company has poor customer service. Their communication is poor and they constantly change the time which is booked. I had to constantly keep an eye on my emails as things changed all the time and did not suit my schedule. Used them for a few months for a regular domestic clean. The cleaning level was ok but most of the people they use are not professional cleaners.

I had a very good experience with Cleaning gurus staff. Cleaning operatives are Punctual and professional and did a good job. The office coordinators are very helpful. Thank you, will book on regular basis.

NOT PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS!!!
Apart from bad communication prior to the job, this company falsely advertises: NOT Deep Cleaning (End of Tenancy) clean! They were late, took them only 3hrs to complete a 3-bed flat (as a surface clean) and left many areas in the kitchen still sticky and mucky with huge amounts of dust on the top elements, etc. from the previous tenants. The job done was definitely NOT worth £200 and they wasted our time as we had to do the cleaning ourselves as we had no time left to hire another company before the movers got in. Very disappointing and would STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND...!!!
They also expect part of the payment to be made in cash directly to the cleaners for tax avoidance purposes.

Paid £147.00 (they refund £30) for a 1 bedroom flat, which was done i a rush, took 2h only.

RESULT of the check-out report: State agency requested a new cleaning which was deducted from my deposit.
Fair enough it was poorly done.

Advice: ask your state agency for the company they use for the service that way you can make sure it follow the standards.

Thank you Cleaning Gurus for your spot on service and fast response

Less than a month ago, two supposed to be called "cleaners" from this company came to do an end of tenancy service. What a nightmare! They used the same 2 cleaning cloths to clean all the flat, but the worst part of the story is that i caught them at the end "cleaning" the inside of the fridge, all the shelves, with the same filthy cloth! Unbelievable!
They left stains on all the stainless steel kitchen appliances, windows had still grime on the surface, they left all the rubbish behind!
They requested to return to continue the cleaning, but i deeply denied, their cleaning service is totally inappropriate!
Never again Cleaning gurus!

I paid the full amount, however the cleaners left having not completely cleaned my oven, needless to say it resulted in my oven been left black and unhygienic!

I know I should have posted my review sooner but have had issues with my computer!
