Do not trust online purchases

They sold me a Defender online. When I received it, it needed service. When I got a flat, I discovered that the jack kit was missing parts (which caused all kinds of problems).
Buy elsewhere.

don’t walk away, run away from these people

they sold me a car online, and when the car was transported to me it needed tires. The sunroof was cracked the hood was dented, and both bumpers were scratched.
None of this was disclosed to me prior to the sale and when I got an estimate to repair everything it was over $10,000 on a $20,000 car they offered me $400
Run away from this place do not buy a car from these horrible people

I'm a victim of deceptive and unfair…

I'm a victim of deceptive and unfair trade practices by Taverna Auto Collection in West Palm Beach, FL.

I'm requesting any documentation regarding an alleged investigation by the Florida Attorney General's office against Taverna.

My complaint against Taverna:
I bought a used car from them in May of 2025, which required more than $3000.00 worth of repairs on the lane assist and front collision safety items that should have been working as part of the standard vehicle package. (see window sticker attached).

I concede they knew about the issues and failed to advise me prior to purchase. Furthermore, they lowered the list price of the vehicle from approx. $13,500 to my purchase price of $9094.00. When I asked them why they lowered the price they said their inventory was high and they were just trying to sell it quickly. I asked them if there was anything wrong with the car and they said it was "working great" with "no problems." Two salesmen, and a sales manager claimed that nothing was wrong with the car and that I would have no problems and I would be very satisfied. Upon delivery (it was shipped via truck to my Ohio address on about May 30th.) When I received the car it was dirty on the outside and the inside and had not been detailed as promised.

Please note that I did not see the car in person and only saw the video of the car that they emailed to me prior to purchase. It did not show the dashboard warning lights that clearly alerted the driver to the safety issues that were not working. Also, they did not detail the car as promised and there were no floor mats as shown on the window sticker.

When I had the car serviced at a local Nissan dealer, they advised that the safety issue repairs would cost approx. $3000 to fix. Additionally, I paid about $350.00 for recalls that were still undone.

I called Taverna more than 20 times and left numerous voicemails because I could not reach Barbie, the customer advocate manager. When I did speak with her she denied knowing about the issues and said the car was sold as is so they had no expectation to fix the problems. I sent her the estimate and invoice for the repairs from the Nissan dealer along with a video detailing and proving the issues from the Nissan dealer. Again, Barbie discounted the video as unsubstantiated and she would take no responsibility for repairs. She started to offer some "compensation" for the detailing but I told her that if she wasn't going to handle the repairs for the safety issues, I didn't want her help with the detailing.

Final note: I specifically asked the salesmen if the car included the lane assist safety features and they assured me it did. I told them that the lane assist feature was one of the main reasons I was buying the car because I often fall asleep at the wheel during morning and afternoon commutes. They both confirmed those features came with the car. You'll see on the window sticker that they are a standard feature. Furthermore, they are standard on all Nissan Leaf cars.

My wife purchased a 2015 BMW 428i from the taverna collection November 15 of 2023. They delivered it at 9 pm the night before Thanksgiving. The car had a headlight out and there was no sound, not from the radio or any chimes normal to vehicles. We were unable to reach anybody until the following Wednesday, bc they were closed on Monday and no one returned her call or email on tuesday. She was told to get an estimate to repair. We made an appt for Friday of the same week to have the local Mississippi bmw dealership check the issues. However, Thursday the engine locked up. I had it towed to the dealership where they explained i needed a new engine to the $20,000 and to repair the audio issue would be an additional $3,700. I spoke with the shop rep and had find a used engine which still cost me $12,000. In total these criminals took us for $22,000 for the cost of the and additional 15,000 to repair the faults.

We spoke with the sales manager from the beginning as we were within their advertised seven day repair or return policy. The manager explained he would have the repairs done at the Taverna shop if we agreed to pay half the shipping and half the engine cost. We actually agreed to this, but he sent NDA rather than a repair agreement. Then never spoke with us again again for over a month. He spoke to us once after that when he learned we had hired a lawyer.

2021 GMC Acadia

I bought a 2021 GMC Acadia from Alon Kleiman on or about 9/26/2021. The car was shipped to me from FL to UT taking 2 days longer that promised and with an empty fuel take. No big deal, I can accept that. However, the key fob did not have a key inside of it and it was not fully programmed because of this, I would have to put the key inside the center console to get the car to start. Other functions on the fob did not work because of the lack of programming. I reached out to Alon, he stated I would get reimbursed for the new key fob and programming. This was 3 weeks ago. I have submitted the requested paperwork multiple times, finally get a call from management stating I bought the car used, and as such, it is my problem. The condition of the key fob was not disclosed, had I been able to take the car on a test drive, I would have been aware and NOT PURCHASED THE CAR until it was fixed. I am so angry, and the thought of ever trusting an online car dealership again is impossible for me. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY TAVERNA COLLECTION LOCATION. THEY APPRECIATE THE COMMISION, BUT ONCE YOU SIGN, YOU ARE NO LONGER A PRIORTY.

Extremely disappointing experience! Initially, they presented the car as flawless - well-maintained, fully functional, and complete with all features. However, upon delivery, it was a different story: the car had dents, missing parts, and engine issues, leading to about $3000 in repairs in the first month. Furthermore, if you seek any reimbursement, they require a non-disclosure agreement that prohibits writing negative reviews. This is unacceptable!
Stay away from this dealership!

Swapping New Parts For Older Ones

I found this used car dealerships on Google with the help of carguru.com. Tyler Ling my sales associate was very helpful! I really relied on his honesty because I wasn’t local. That in itself was a huge mistake! After receiving my vehicle via flatbed, I noticed couple of items that did not look kosher! Well apparently they swapped out parts of from the 2021 G550 with older parts from a 06-14 G500. Apparently Mercedes-Benz attaches part number on every piece they make! So you’re able to look up that part if needed to be replaced! What an amazing concept! So apparently the spare tire and rim, The spare tire surround all are old used parts! When you bring this fact up to management they deny, waste your time , don’t address themselves via email ! Seems like they are attempting to toy with you like a cat plays with the yarn ball! They don’t realize The eagle is circling above them!

Nothing has been resolved will be litigating. I suggest any future buyers to stay very far away from the dealership!
